I'm crying so much 😭😭😭😭😭 I watched up to episode 35 and saw a spoiler about Ye Xian's death and didn't want to continue. We knew from the beginning that he could die of heart disease, but I didn't expect him to die in the war. I wanted him to survive, or if he died, I wanted it to be from heart disease, because I think that would be less suffering. I even imagined him sitting in a comfortable chair, closing his eyes and dying. I never thought his death would be like that 😭
I realized that the story and the series will be quite different, since the original story only features Wei Rao, while the series features Wei Rao/Jun Dai/A Chou, who are visually identical. Therefore, it's not worth reading the original story, as it won't be the same as the series, right?
I just finished reading the story and it's amazing! I hope they release the drama soon, and if they're faithful to the story, it will be incredible from beginning to end. I'm just worried because the story is quite long and it seems like we'll only have 24 episodes? Even if they were hour-long episodes (which they aren't), it still wouldn't be even half the story; they probably cut a lot out.
