I only watched Dynamite Kiss's first ep and put it on hold for watching it after it ends. It had positive comments…
The first two episodes were great, it was following the track of a good rom-com, cliche but refreshing and enjoyable. Then. the next 5 episodes took a dark shift that was off putting and at the expense of one character. The way it was brushed under the carpet left a bad taste in my mouth. The last quarter of the drama struggled to tie up the loose ends of what it began with, the middle part and give a good conclusion. Between the tone changes, overload of cliches that felt like the writer was on a time crunch, and flimsy ways the characters were set up, I was disappointed. Doesn’t help the female lead was written weak.
I mean, I love this drama, but what's O Gyu Jang's motive for wanting Kang Da Wit's downfall? I really don't get…
He challenged him. He doesn’t like being challenged. I think after the daughter brought him on and he started to bring so much attention to the team, her father got pressed by this, and it’s strange how Jae-Beom was in the car with Jeong-In im earlier episodes. With the way he treats his daughter, it’s not a surprise he’s doing the same to Da-Wit
