You have to let go of any bias and watch without an opinion, and listen closely to the words said. It’s not a drama to be watched lightly, or to enjoy, it’s one that’s meant to make you think for hours.
It was inventing Anna I’ve been trying to remember. It’s similar to this drama
The elements of conning is where their comparison ends . But, this drama is much deeper.
I just finished watching, and I am still trying to formulate my thoughts, it’s the type of drama that elevates your worldview because it’s not as simple as it might appear which is what “Sarah Kim”kept emphasing
While Viki is promoting Positively Yours as their flagship Valentines Day Watch (makes sense.... couply (domestic?)…
Friday the 13th has a horrifying connotation in the west; it’s considered an unlucky day. Valentine’s Day this years falls on a Saturday which is not the day Netflix releases original series
“A man is allowed to react. A woman can only overreact.” Watching first two episodes, I was visibly annoyed…
I didn’t have any issues with her after the first two episodes, because on reflection, she’s in a male dominated field where she will constantly be undermined no matter if she’s overreaching or not. Her behaviour was normal and expected.
By the way your review could be a whole thesis on the men vs women debate; how men are always given leeway and women should always conform to expectations
Thank you for saying this!! Agreed!! I do not understand why everyone is losing their minds about the cheating…
How do I pin every single one of your comments? But seriously, can you post your analysis at the end of each episode? We need more conversations like yours because people need to start engaging their prefrontal cortex.
Your comments explained perfectly why I love thrillers with morally grey characters.
The main issue isn't that she cheated it’s how the writer treats the affair like it’s just a mistake to move…
There are more pressing matters to deal with than to be hung up over someone cheating. Someone is dead, a minor was raped twice. There are child predators on the loose.
Her husband is a smart man and he suspects that she did, he will get there eventually, but there are more pressing matters than stopping the whole plot for a marital affair. There is no time to be sympathetic for a woman who had a consensual affair outside her marriage
Make of that what you will x
