The main plot is taking down the organisation, and the kids being free. That was what Tae-Sik was working on, and now the kids have taken over.
Nobody’s asking about the kids because they made it look like they were missing. Naturally, it got swept under the rug. Take Si-Woo’s for instance. His absence has been woven into rumours, give it a few years, and people will forget him. Cases like theirs are done in retrospect when there are clues pointing to foul play. The kids have done well to cover their tracks. Until Si-Woo.
On the issue of name. We heard their name over the voice recording. Their new names were mentioned in the first episode.
I think Dex recognises she’s the discarded daughter which is why he hesitated to chase her when they met by the containers. But he’s bound to his job, and has been poisoned to believe defects don’t deserve to live
As we go, we see flashbacks and this provides insight for the characters as they take revenge.
