Probably these dramas were once full length and were edited for short length to bypass censorship. The costumes and sets were beautiful.

It feels like it was originally a full length drama. They chopped it to meet censorship rules. It’s a shame the acting, sets, and costuming is high quality. I’ll rewatch it in movie form just to see it one go. Highly recommend.
