Maybe others have seen him somewhere else, hence the difference of opinions. This is the first time, I’ve seen him. Based on this drama alone, he’s not bad, but his acting is indeed mediocre. If you don't like fantasy costume drama, then you may not enjoy it. It’s actually one of the best fantasy costume dramas if you carry on a bit further. Story and characters are interestingly complex, especially Ming Yi, but all portrayed naturally well.
I watched and rated this for Lu Yuxiao and Kelly Wu only. It’s great to find such a reality show and could see how these two beautiful women in real life. So, will appreciate them from now on!
I am almost to the end also. Tbh, I have enjoyed this one more than the new same genre drama, How Dare You, that I just dropped.
