Maybe others have seen him somewhere else, hence the difference of opinions. This is the first time, I’ve seen him. Based on this drama alone, he’s not bad, but his acting is indeed mediocre. On the contrary, I first found actresses who have brilliant acting like Zhang Jing Yi and Lu Yuxiao. This drama is a hidden gem where actors could shine brighter than or be overshadowed by others

If you don't like fantasy costume drama, then you may not enjoy it. It’s actually one of the best fantasy costume dramas if you carry on a bit further. Story and characters are interestingly complex, especially Ming Yi, but all portrayed naturally well.
I watched and rated this for Lu Yuxiao and Kelly Wu only. It’s great to find such a reality show and could see how these two beautiful women in real life. So, will appreciate them from now on!
I am almost to the end also. Tbh, I have enjoyed this one more than the new same genre drama, How Dare You, that I just dropped. Cast and acting here are stronger and naturally funny without even trying to act too comical. Tbh, I was not surprised that Peng Kanghua could do the kidnapping and attempted murder. He’s already breaking bad when he did what he did to Xiao Zhiyu father. Once an ordinary man could be cruel and kill (even it might look like an accident, but he twisted the truth), then he would be a ble to do it again easily to protect him self and his reputation.
My life and work could be very bitter and stressful. Rewatching Lu Yuxiao in her best C-drama, including LBL, and her travel blogs over and over, is like a sweet medicine for me. She’s genuinely lovely inside out, her aura, even her quirkiness did make me happy somehow. I didn't regret to spend my me time going back watching C-drama again. But what can I watch next? How long will her new drama be aired?
Lu Yuxiao gentle demeanour and genuine beauty inside out has consumed my mind recently. I have been watching her 5 best dramas (BIA, MJTY, PM, LITC and LBL) back to back twice or trice and her travel blogs to New Zeland and Malaysia in youtube, also her in My little one show.
