Personally, I think L&P is one of the best Chinese dramas of the year. Everything, from the script to the acting, directing, and character development, is superb. These two main leads (Chen FeiYu and Zhang Jing Yi) have pleasantly surprised me. Both are still in their early twenties and new to the acting world, but they are both very promising actors. As much as I admire male lead who is born to lead, I admire female lead even more. Her parents may have raised her as if she were a princess, but she is actually very strong and independent, forgiving, and not easily irritated. Zhu Yun, you have quickly become one of my favourite female characters.

It's a simple life drama about getting back up and moving forward after failing in life. In terms of acting, I liked Ryusei's performance here. He had to play a humorous and carefree character in this drama. Haruna-chan, on the other hand, is as natural as ever. I never had a problem watching her act when she was a child actress, and I will never be concerned about her acting now.
What I probably didn't like here was the love triangle and how they wanted to include mental health issues but couldn't deliver properly.

The interaction between the main couple drew me to this drama. FL pick-up line is ridiculously smooth and funny, and she appears to have no filter when making a move. She's getting right to the point.
So Toi ended up with his origin family, Yotsuba's family, rather than Miko's family. I'm still bitter that Toi isn't Miko's brother, but at least she has a much better older brother who ranks SS.
