Also one of the other things I was highly triggered about is the favoritism that the coaches have to wards Junghwan.…
From what I have seen so far, Taejun excels in defensive style play, so I think the coach wanted to see how well he does by playing support, which is to defend and open chances for Junghwan to attack. And Junghwan is the best player in their team so it would be better to have some experience playing with him. And to be fair, it was Junghwan who broke the team spirit by poaching the shots that came for Junghwan and messes up when the shots came for him. And told Junghwan that he intends to keep doing that and only after that Junghwan started to play solo. And Taejun has the right to decline, but he didn't. He agreed when the coach asked and then asked Junghwan to decline, so it is all on Taejun. And the coach also has the right to decide who plays in the match and with whom. So that is why I think that the coach scolded Taejun instead of Junghwan and the coach asked for his reasons but Taejun didn't give any. And his actions almost cost them the game which they won because of Junghwan.
There is favoritism towards Junghwan but mainly because he is their best player and also that their company supports him. But in this situation, I think the fault lies with Taejun, since Junghwan was playing properly before. Sorry for the long post.
I was really suprised to see the characters Jin Yoo Na and Yoon Jae Hyun. The actors playing the characters were the leads in Be My Boyfriend, and both characters are a bit similar so it felt like I was watching that drama for a second xD.
I have heard of plot armour of the protagonist but here the plot armour is with the antagonist. Not only do they get saved everytime they are conered or trapped, the power ups they receive is simply absurd. And not to mention the amount of times the characters died, revived and died again only to be revived in the end.
Really unpopular opinion, but if it were the ml who suffered irreparable losses and did everything to avenge himself…
I think he became the villain when he started trying to possess the FL. Trying to avenge himself by getting rid of the empress and emperor was not what made him the villain. It was when he started to manipulate the FL into staying with him when he clearly knows that she is in love with ML, making her kill the ML, holding a whole realm hostage to make FL comeback to him, keeping her locked up in his palace and starting an all out war just so he could get his hostage back. These actions were what turned him into a villain not the avenging. If the emperor and the empress were villains, then runyu is also a villain.
This drama was fun at the beginning, but painful to complete. I don't like how the ML ended up having to apologize…
I had the same feeling. It felt more like the ML is babysitting the FL. I think the difference between liking the FL and hating her character is finding her behaviour cute or annoying.
does the FL even love the ML? seems like she doesn't care about him that much! im on ep 33 and hasn't seem much…
I think she loves her family more than the ML. The emperor, his wife, all three of their sons and also their wives, and then FL's father and her maid, all of them tried to kill the ML and FL but she keeps on going to them and forgiving as soon as she sees them. And not only does she forgive them, she even trusts and helps them all. At the very least, she should have asked for justice on the murder attempt of her husband right? This seriously made me doubt her.
More like a sickly, drunken princess that got a good husband that safe her all the fuckin time
And also add in that all the male characters that come across her, fall in love with her. That somehow guarantees her safety till her good husband comes to rescue her. If only ML didn't marry her, he could have minded his own business keeping the north safe and all his generals alive and with him.
I am disappointed with that ending. The story did the Hu sibling generals bad. One died to the scheme of the third prince and the other died while protecting the third prince. ML wanted to get justice for the soldiers who died in that conspiracy, but in the end, the third prince is still the emperor?
I guess, only the lives of the nobles matter, in the end, the soldiers were the real pawns in the power game of the nobles. I can't help rolling my eyes when I remember FL being shocked and complaining that she was a mere pawn in the power struggle of the palace.
The episodes are too short and you cannot properly understand the background. Even after 30eps in I don’t get…
I think that the Qin family was facing a financial crisis and facing bankruptcy, so they had Qin Mu Xuan get involved with Gu Zi Jin and then threaten Gu family to do acquisition of the Qin company (S1 episode 4). But I have no clue if drugs were used.
Lu Man this character is horrible. She is so immature. She blames everyone for her sister’s death like her sister…
Lu Man knows that her sister was pregnant (after the accident) and that He Xiya proposed to her and that her sister disagreed and that they both had a quarrel before the accident. She tells it to Wei You so that she breaks up with He Xiya. But what I don't get is that it was her sister who didn't agree to the proposal, so why is she blaming He Xiya as if he was the one who cheated her sister. I seriously question whether the writers were thinking straight when they thought of this.
But after finishing the drama, I did think that actually she didn't fully believe that He Xiya was a "love rat". From the way she was describing her sister and He Xiya, I think she believed them both to be good people and approved of their relationship, but she also knew that He Xiya was hiding something about the proposal incident and wanted to know what really happened, which He Xiya refused till the end. So she started taking revenge against him so that he would say what happened to stop her. Because everytime she meets she keeps asking what happened, rather than just scolding or swearing at him. And even the matter of telling Wei You to break up, was also her attempt to make him say what happened. We can see that when she says that the only way to make her agree to their relationship is to say what happened.
So, I think it was just poor execution of this plot that made her character horrible and immature. This had 40 episodes, there is enough time to have some character exploration for Lu Man and reveal these points slowly as the plot progresses, but the writers had to cramp that into the 2 episodes at the end.
Both leads are annoying. The female lead is one of the weakest & stupidest female characters I have seen in a…
The dream stuff were used precisely for the scenario you described and after that the whole thing is forgotten. There is not a single mention of even the word Dream in the second half of the drama.
Can someone please explain Cheng Yin’s issue to me? I actually liked the twist when Wei Hao revealed that she…
This is just what I think happened as you said it was delivered poorly. I think the cure for it was to make her depend less on Cheng Yin, by reducing her alone time and just being there for her. And in one episode, ML consults a doctor, who says that the current way of treating her might take long but reduces impact and damage she will have to bear in the future. So the ML has been doing that. In that final scene, it shows that she is no longer depending on Cheng Yin as she hears Cheng Yin saying goodbye to her, and starts depending on the ML, which is shown as he holds her hand which she reached out for Cheng Yin. This is what I think happened.
I can already feel like Park dan dan should divorce his current wife. She’s very inconsiderate and immature.…
Indebt? He has been taking care of her, her son and also her family, at least financially. And she is very biased towards her son. Dan Dan's father has no luck with women at all xD.
Unless there are more scenes explaining how she took care of Dan Dan, her character is ruined.
He is visually impaired, not completely blind. He is able to detect movements within three feet but can't tell colours apart. It is explained in episode 6 and 22
Does anyone know what the FL and the others were trying to prove by deceiving the ML? The FL didn't know the ML before, and she wanted to see if he actually love her, so the first couple of episodes were alright, but it really went overboard during the middle when both her and the ML's family got involved. I am not even sure what they are trying to achieve with all this drama now. Very disappointed at how this lakorn is turning out to be. They are seriously playing the ML for a fool now.
can someone tell me the plots ... i skipped through half bc i got bored and just wanted to see the romance btwn…
Everything is explained in episode 26 and 27. Heavy Spoilers:
The lady who had all the paintings of FL's mom was FL's real mom. FL was actually the daughter of the painter who her mom was with previously, since Panu had vasectomy after having Chanok. And since Panu found that FL's mother was going to meet that Painter, he tried to kill her. But since she survived he sent her abroad and had her undergo plastic surgery and come back as Chonrangsee. Then using the FL as a hostage, he gave her money to start a company and do money laundering and bribing so that his company wins all the bidding. This is why FL had to stay with him and why she was important for his company to win the bidding.
