I am at episode 12, and I am still wondering when the ML is going to start his revenge?
For about 12 episodes, the story has just been the ML trying to protect the FL who still has no clue what is going on and still believes her boyfriend, and the bad guys are systematically destroying and invalidating all the evidences that the ML and his group aquired against them. The ML keeps everything to himself and asks the others to trust him but never shares anything with them, even the attempts on the life of the FL. Who in their right mind would actually trust a guy like that. I am really surprised that Prim did though.
And not to mention annoying and unnecessary characters, like Nam and Koy. Nam added no value to the revenge and Koy, instead of confronting the guys about the hard drives and the laptop, she goes to a shop and gets herself and the secret mission exposed.
And another aspect that seems lacking is the effect of losing his fiancee and her brother, had very little impact on him. There was nothing shown on screen, other than few brusts of anger and one scene of reminiscence of the fiancee. And instead of focusing on the ML, the plot seemed to revolve around Kawin and his escapades with his women. The romance between the main leads fail by comparison to Kawin.
I am just hoping that Jade actually survives at the end of the drama. He was the only one who was working to bring the bad guys to justice. I mean, he went undercover and got more information than the ML who was working to get closer to Kawin and the FL. He was the one who found where the laptop was hidden, he was the who found the data hidden by Radee behind the picture frame, he got the recording of Yorn telling that his boss ordered the hit on Radee and also blamed the FL making her a target, and again he was the one who got the location of Koy when she was kidnapped and also got the recording of Sumet (Kawin's right hand man) trying to get info from Koy.
Now what did the ML get out of being the FL's bodyguard? He became one of the trusted person of the FL and Prim, and other than that nothing. Even bugging the FL's room had no impact on the story, other than that one time where Kawin revealed that one of FL's fan gift was his. And nothing else. He couldn't get into the business that Kawin and FL were doing, nor could he find out why the FL was needed by Kawin. Even the point that Kawin was out for money from FL was found by Prim and not the ML. It is when I look at this point that I feel Koy was right from the start. They got nothing from being with FL. I mean if this was not working, the ML could have actively tried to make the FL and Kawin split up so that Kawin would slip up. But nope. Nothing of that sort happened.
Episode 15: why doesn't the ML tell the FL about the death of his fiancee? At this point that piece of information won't change anything and he got the chance as the FL was asking for him to come clean. smh. This is going to come back to bite him.
Episode 16: Seriously, for 16 episodes he did nothing for revenge and just kept on protecting the FL, but suddenly he couldn't say the word love, see when I said it is going to come back to bite him.
Rant over.
Now I am just watching it since I am close to the end. This is by all means not a revenge lakorn at all. This could have simply been a drama about the ML trying to protect the FL and completed leave out the revenge part. This is the most idiotic ML I have seen in a revenge lakorn (Everyone in his team either took a bullet or got tortured and Jade actually got both). He was dancing on the palm of Kawin.
I am on episode 3, but I just find it weird that the FL was alright being with guys who were shooting at each other. And what I can't wrap my head around is that the FL actually went with the boss of the gang who were trying to kidnap/ kill her in Japan.
I am watching 7 ongoing dramas, and I won't call them even active compared to this. And most comments I have seen…
Need the daily dose of kdrama and need to complete the 2021 watch challenge xD And yeah, Iotnbo was a rare case. Love triangles creates two teams among the viewers which allows for them to keep a conversation going back and forth. But I do love to read those comments xD
Jung Woo, has high IQ and now he has super strength. YSW is able to make people have lucid dreams. But Jamie is the only human from that group of 3. What is Jamie's superpower, or did she lose all that when she had that surgery and fixed her head? I have this doubt because Jung Woo said that he will only do the surgery after finishing his missions. Might be either he loses his special powers or that he might die. xD
I was really excited about this drama, but now it is just dragging. Now I am only watching this for Nam Goong Min.
what is jamie's power? She has shown nothing.. even her investigative skills are ordinary, worse than a normal…
The smart watch is what the victims use to see if they are in the dream world or the real one. I assume, that it shows the correct time before they fall asleep but then switches to the wrong one when they wake up (though the victims think they are in a dream). And MJW tells them that they have to do what they fear the most to wake up from the dream, that is why they look at the watch sees the wrong time and do the thing the fear the most to wake up but die instead
If there is season 2 do you think there will be romance between Jisu and Hyun? or is it more likely between hyun…
I think it would be between Eun Yoo and Hyun, because they had the most interactions in the show and Eun Yoo shows sign of liking Hyun. But there wasn't much interaction between Hyun and Jisu to develop any romance. And there was no hinting as well. I don't mind the romance but I really don't want any love triangle.

I was so pumped up with this drama but then the writers did dirty to all female characters.Jamie was smart and…
I am really disappointed in how Jamie's character turned out. She is supposed to be smart but she just takes things at face values and does not think deep about anything or ask any questions. I thought her character would be chasing after the ML in his plan and the writers would use her character to tell us what the ML is doing and what happened in the past (since she was there at the time and only forgot it). She seems more interested in the love life of Hyewon rather than her connection with the ML or White Night village.
Hyewon, I am giving an excuse because she wasn't the smart type. And the recent episodes show that she has always been violent and action rather than thinking. But I wasn't disappointed as I didn't expect much from her.
I agree about the characters though. The plot is really interesting but the characters really need some more work.
From their meeting, what I understood is that Jung Woo might not be the one who killed those people but actually…
I also think the same. And correct me if I am wrong, I think that when Jung Woo said that he was the monster who saved this time with the surgery, he also says that they are even since the monster saved her twice. But it doesn't make sense since it would be Jung Woo who saved her twice and she did not save Jung Woo. So I am thinking that she was the monster who saved Jung Woo in the village. And this time Jung Woo saved her (surgery) so they are even.
