I think they advertised very carefully on purpose because that whole Beom Seok storyline seemed to come out of nowhere. I never would have imagined it would take that direction. I'm glad it did because it's definitely refreshing being surprised by writing nowadays. As frustrating as this was, for sheer entertainment value this gets a solid 10/10.

There's so freaking much that makes this good but mostly I think it's that they only made it 8 episodes. It never bores that way. Can't wait for season 2!!!! Ahn Soo better be alive !!

This was a very nice performance from Tony Leung. His eyes are so expressive and he is always a joy to watch.

TBH I was really disappointed because I thought Seo In Guk’s character would be around for much more of the film than he was. I was really excited to see him act in a villain’s role and he did such an amazing job that I almost wanted to stop watching the movie when he died so soon.

As for the movie itself, it had an unnecessary amount of blood. I don’t mind gore but this was almost laughable how much blood gushed out of people at times. The plot was a tiny bit rushed towards the end. It felt like they just threw a whole new story at you in the last 20 minutes that they didn’t have time to fully explore. It definitely felt like a set up for a sequel, which I wouldn’t mind watching at all.

Despite its various flaws, I enjoyed this movie for its production value and effort. It’s worth a watch and I hope the sequel if they ever make one spends a little bit more time in developing the plot and a little less time with skull-crushing dudes whose footsteps sound like my upstairs neighbours.

I saw this on TV around when it first came out and fell in love with it then. I completely forgot about it years later and was actually trying to find Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon when I accidently stumbled on this again. Forgot how freaking amazing it is!! And it's so fun going back and watching it when I'm more familiar with the cast.

This has to be one of the most beautiful movies ever. When I first watched it I was pretty young and I remember finding the plot incredibly confusing. Coming back to it when you're old enough to understand the plot is just awesome. The soundtrack is a little piece of heaven. Every scene is unbelievably gorgeous and the plot is so engrossing. Definitely recommend this.

I recommend you rent it on youtube so you can enjoy amazing quality and subs. If that's not an option for you then this is the only place I've been able to find it with any kind of English.

it's a decent film. I can't believe Jackie Chan's acting during the scene where he's having a break down and yelling at his brother.

This was a brilliant film. It will piss you off, make you laugh, and possibly cry. It really does a great job at portraying how complex and evil people can be sometimes. It's also very interesting that they titled it, 'Miss Andy' when the lead is mostly referred to as Yvonne. I might be reading into it too much but I think they did that on purpose. Because no matter what, the world never saw Yvonne as Yvonna, but as Andy as a miss. I dunno. Give this a watch. It'll be worth your while.

I started to get really suspicious of the guy after he met Soho for the first time and went to her massage parlor. His character had been portrayed as pretty innocent until then, so it was a huge red flag. Soho wasn't as big a shock because of how detached she seemed to want to be. Still, was not expecting that level of BS from either of them.

Lol this comment is perfect. It's so true. I have seen every kind of loathsome human being portrayed onscreen, but nothing disturbed me quite like this. Great film, but like what in seven hells was with that betrayal?! Yvonne was nothing but a freaking angel! BTW I would consider making your beautiful comment a spoiler. I didn't read it before watching this film but if I had I think it would have lessened the surprise/shock I experienced at the end.

What in the actual hell... I was not expecting that ending. Yo, screw whoever said, 'let's make a film that will tear people's hearts out in a new and creative way.'

Of all the movies I've seen, of all the ways to backstab and destroy someone, of all the audacious bastards and btches I have seen on screen, this one takes the cake.

My interest level in this film started kind of low tbh but just kept increasing as it went on. I feel totally blindsided by that ending. Now, if you'll excuse me. I need a cigarette and a stiff drink to feel better after watching this.
