This had all the components to be good although the premise looking back on it was kind of absurd by mixing the cheating scandal/corruption with the teacher/student scandal. In the end though it is just too overboard absurd/unrealistic and more than anything FLAT. I also think making a show about MATH and Math nerds handicapped it's accessibility. Don't get me wrong, I love all the math nerds but it's just hard to get super invested the way it was presented.
are you talking about the old crown prince we saw physically several times what he looks like. or did i miss he…
They are giving major "missing Royal" vibes. I don't know what the puzzle pieces are but it doesn't seem like he's a genuine ole hillbilly. Can't wait to find out!
I'm a Rowoon stan and other Rowoon stans are probably gonna come for me but I wish there's more to his character…
I don't think you are the only one. It's a major problem with the show as it's gone on. There just isn't much "there" after what was such a great start the first half of the season. What a shame and wasted opportunity.
I definitely agree with you, well said. You have clarified why I'm enjoying this so much. I think it's a well…
I wasn’t a huge fan of her other drama’s but this one I feel like is PERFECT for her. The director lights her up like an angel in every scene so she looks just gorgeous, and he understands that she is an interior understated actress and I think unlike some of her other drama’s, this one really captures her interior emotions and feelings well. Not everyone will feel this way, I get it but for me this show is much better than the one with Park Go Bum.
Oh well at least you and I are enjoying it even if they aren’t!
These negative comments are kind of wild to me. The show was clearly made as sort of an homage to a mix of French and American romance classics with the visuals and cinematography and OST.....
the show is as much about the mood / vibe as it is about the plot and the plot is unfolding to be about these two clearly destined lovers who are connected through all of these little things, these many moments throughout their life but only one of them knows it and the other is broken, driven, terrified failing in her career and it may not even matter that the person she was always supposed to be with is standing in front of her.
The show I suspect will be about her struggle and fight to succeed in her business on her own two feet and how he stands by her and supports her every step of the way. It may not have more huge reveals or major plot points but it is a beautiful story with two beautiful lead actors that I am thrilled to watch unfold **shrug**
So many manipulative, destructive, controlling, selfish, calculating adults......... rooting so hard for the two mains to find happiness through each other
Why is it weird? If the love of your life died and you have not been able to heal/get over it that is very common and not weird at all. And that's what she essentially means I think...... in her heart she is still "with him" and she hasn't moved on.
Episode 10 is the first one that I did not love. What took an hour should have largely been condensed so the plot could move forward.
I'm a little incredulous about the whole marriage plot. It makes ZERO beyond ZERO sense for CP to agree to the marriage when her father is giving her an out & chance to further delay it.
The entire point of the marriage is to consummate and create an heir which is physically impossible and logistically can only be done at enormous risk to all involved politically and the heir wouldn't even be royalty unless her cousin or little brother fathers the baby for her. It's just an absurd plot point to even attempt. I think this had so much potential but it's being overdone. I hope they prove me wrong but this episode wasn't encouraging. The Ga-On reveal is taking way too long also.
I can't believe this isn't subbed yet! Literally at 0% on Viki and everyone else also just has raws. (not complaining - thank you subbers!) just shocked that it hasn't gotten even auto subbed yet.

So many of the negative comments in here are weird to me, especially if you've watched both episodes and not just the first.
