I want to ask why there are some merman with marks and some merman without marks on their foreheads?
The mark disappears when they fall in true love. And whoever they fall in love with is the only one they can ever love. They are not able to love anyone else but that person. It's very romantic!
SU MOM IS EVERYTHING. BAI YING is one of my favorite Female characters ever. I'm just over here loving every single moment I get of those two together. Sunday is way too far away !
That wasn't Su Mo choking her it was the demon magic spirit who possesses him.
Ok so you don't understand the concept of demonic possession and how someone can not be in control of their own emotions/actions because *they are possessed*
Maybe fantasy isn't the genre for you if you don't get this concept lol
You're English is excellent!!! And I totally agree.... I can't imagine anyone else playing Su Mo now that we have…
"Noble Aspirations" which is also called "Legend of Chusen" Season 1 is on YouTube under Noble Aspirations. Season 2 is on Viki as "Legend of Chusen 2"
I disagree. There are a lot of adaptations like You are my glory where the directors and producers have made a…
Adaptations will almost *always* have parts that are loosely based on the original source material. It's why a movie/drama script literally has to be written for the screen. Because it cannot translate from a novel directly to the screen, because some parts will have to be condensed and some re-written. I think book readers should wake up to reality that books almost ALWAYS are not directly translated in story to the screen and an adaptation will be somewhat faithful but likely altered for many various reasons.
In episode 15-16 what Bai Ying and Su Mu was saying? Anyone can translate?
She's basically figured out that he is practicing "dark mirror art magic" and that it will destroy him because it's so dangerous. He promised her not to keep using it unless the situation is so bad that he has no other choice. She says her light something magic can protect him and he says "so does that mean you will be with me always?" And she replies "we are allies so of course I will be together with you as your ally" This was from the really awful translation I watched but I think it gives the just of it.
So I usually watch this drama on duboku raw version and the number of negative comments is a lot, they talk about…
It's really such a shame. It feels a lot like the negative fans of Ancient Love Poetry who trashed ALP. Meanwhile those same fans will hype up drama's I find extremely subpar. I love angsty romances with star crossed lovers in fantasy worlds. I also think fans these days are nearly impossible to please. As they say..... Different strokes for different folks I guess.
I say this every time a drama/movie is adapted from a Novel........
They are two separate entities and works of art. The Novel may be better. It may have much more time and space and no budget constraints to develop characters / world build / etc but using it as a standard for a visual drama with time and budget constraints is only cheating yourselves of finding enjoyment in the drama as a separate unique entity. I had to learn this myself long ago. Books and shows are companions in a universe but they are not and rarely can ever be twins. Book purists often like to rain on drama watchers parade and IMO it can be *unintentionally* toxic because the book is the book. The writers/directors/producers of the movie are making their own work of art loosely *based* on the source material. Enjoy it as it's own thing. It's wonderful to read books, I read a TON and often books that are adapted to screen but I learned not to compare them lest I ruin my enjoyment because something doesn't match my pre-conceived bias. If the drama/movie came first and then the book was written the bias would usually go toward the original story. "It wasn't like this in the movie. I liked it better the original way why did they change it in the book"
Just my two cents. This isn't to try to criticize or shame the book readers. It's just something I think happens all too often where there becomes this "the book was better this isnt how the "real" story goes"
That's because this story is a sister not a twin :)
I think we have some more shocking stories coming!
Mirror has me HOOKED!!!!!! I love their love!
Maybe fantasy isn't the genre for you if you don't get this concept lol
Its not as good though but it's something
