when Tagon removed his mask he said “the black light has almost disappeared” and shahaati have the black tongue mouth and the mask was to cover it up until they cured it I guess.
For anyone who might have been confused about Yangcha from todays episode (episode 2) (major spoiler below)
Yangcha seems to have been taken to be a “child of shahaati” but somehow Tagon I think rescued him but in exchange Yangcha’s mother had to become a spy in the Ago tribe. This isn’t 100% yet but in todays episode when Tagon and Yangcha have their scene this is basically what seems to be the secret. The the woman “Suhana” who is the spy in Ago we think is Yangcha mother. and Yangcha used to be a child of shahaati (the child soldiers with the black tongues )
Does anyone know if since we need wait for subs of premiere eps for a week...does it mean we will always be 2…
from my understanding they will roll out 3 episodes next week. The first 2 from this week plus a new one on Saturday thus “catching” the international viewers up.
why on earth they decided to do it that way I have no idea since it’s stupid and only angered the international fans. But that’s the supposed roll out.
Do not come here policing peoples feelings or opinions. This is a place people are free to express their opinions, both good and bad, both supportive and frustrated. The vast majority of people here are huge fans of this drama and if this is where people collect to express frustration or anger or sadness, they are perfectly ENTITLED to.
with that said. For those willing to watch with Auto Subs, you can watch a few ways. Through the Hi TV app, through the Hi TV website. Neither can airplay to your TV though with the subs in tact. However, if you use the internet app on your Smart TV directly, and navigate to the Hi TV Website, you can watch directly on your TV. kisskh is also uploading the auto subbed version to their website. The auto subs are pretty bad, especially if you are a new watcher you will not understand what they mean. But for seasoned Arthdal Fans, you can pretty much figure out a lot of the incorrect subs and most of the dialogue is ok. so I DO recommend watching the Auto Subs for those excited and anxious to watch ASAP.

nobody is hating. the roll out for this was terribly explained and in 2023 with spoilers it’s absurd to have a later rollout. There is a reason almost NO show is released like this. it’s practically unheard of in 2023 for a show to release with no subs to any market the first day. We are perfectly entitled to complain about it considering the lengths we went to over 4 years to keep the show alive in the international fandom. this was a mistake by Studio Dragon. plan and simple.
I am really flabbergasted at the lack of consideration for the international fanbase by Studio Dragon not rolling out an English subbed premiere on the same day as the Korean premiere. The international fan base in many way was one of the biggest drivers keeping the interest in Arthdal Chronicles alive for the past 4 years, and instead of giving us the courteousy of a simoultaneous premiere we are forced to watch on unofficial sites with no subs simply not to have to be spoiled completely by those who are watching today. Yes, I watched the premiere on an unofficial site. No it had no subs. yes it was good. no I am not happy and feel this is a real slap in the face.
Can someone confirm the USA airing? I am seeing absolutely nothing on either USA Disney + or USA HULU. Will this actually be airing tomorrow September 9th on either platform? I am deducing that it will NOT be getting a USA premier tomorrow. This sux. Everything will be getting spoiled for us. why would they not roll this out simoultaneously ??!!! will any English speaking countries be getting the premier with English subs September 9th?
I hate the way they’ve styled Yangcha’s hair in the new season. it’s a minor nitpick, but because his face is covered for the majority of the show by his mask, his hair styling was like a signature with the soft side bang. Now they’ve styled his hair completely pulled back up and slicked off his face for season 2 and it’s not as cute 😡😡😡
I can’t be the only one who really truly hopes this is not the final official poster. Ugh, it is just a blob…
you are the first person who has said what I also felt about the utter ugliness of the color palette and my fear that the new director and cinematographer may have filmed the whole season with the color grading. I have not liked a lot of the pre-release materials aesthetically at all. It feels to dirty and dusty and different from the first season really praying that the actual show will not be like this.
