This isn’t a typical storyline where the male lead is also the main love interest. ML is her brother but it really has 3 main male characters and she ends up with Jing the fox.

Just want to reiterate I HATE the new airing schedule. it makes no sense. Soon there will be days with zero episodes. In this competitive summer I wish they stuck to 2 episodes daily, or maybe 2-1-2-1- 2-1 like Legend of Anle…. this show has so much momentum and now they will drag the episodes airing to lose a lot of that momentum. A shame.

my issue with him is that he was way more deferential to the “Victim” Ziyuan and when she came out as herself, asserting herself and her families innocence, he should have had a much more SYMPATHETIC tone for all she suffered unfairly the last 10 years. He should have had the SAME sympathy for her when she was no longer the VICTIM. yes, he told the truth at court and confirmed her identity, but when they spoke after rather than effusively expressing regret and apologizing and UNDERSTANDING, he remained stoic and rather selfishly held her secrecy suddenly against her. do you not see how selfish and gross and self serving it is to be happy with her living under a false identity “as long as she’s safe” which coincidentally means your family doesn’t have to answer for anything, VERSUS complete understanding that she had to spend 10 years living this way in order to even have the chance to get justice and THAT is more important for HER happiness. it’s not about HIM.

In Todays episodes he did better and I know he will redeem himself but The Drama version of him has not done him proper justice.
