Totally disagree with your last fact. When faced with the possibility of ditching the weak body she already “shy’d away” because it would come at a cost too high for her . So she already clearly showed that if there is a cost to leaving the weak body for a new one she is not actually willing to pay the cost at the expense of people she cares about.

I think consciously she thinks or thought temporary host but subconsciously she has grown attached to the host identity so actually it’s both things that keep her from being focused on the idea there is more to her hosts identity

I see a lot of people calling Naksu dumb or frustrated that she hasn’t figured out whose body she is in and that people are also frustrated because they want OG “badass” Naksu’s return.

After the most recent episodes it’s occurred to me that Naksu isn’t racking her brain about whose body she is in because she purposely does not WANT to/Care to. She LIKES that MD was essentially a blank slate that she could hide in temporarily and completely shed her old identity. Yes, she hates not having her powers, but over 18 episodes she has found new life built around the bonds of friendship, loyalty and love which are things she hasn’t had for most of her life. So while WE are like HELLO YOU ARE SO SMART WHY ARENT YOU FIGURING THIS OUT…… *SHE* doesn’t really CARE. She has no idea two souls can live in one body. Deep DEEP down she doesn’t *want* to be someone else anymore. She has bonded with her new identity and the people who know her as MD so it will be devastating to her if she has to shift into someone else or even back to her old self because of everything that will come as a consequence of her no longer being MD.

So have some pity & understanding for our girl Naksu. She ISNT the old Naksu. She isn’t the isolated loner Shadow Assassin anymore. Episode 18 made this crystal clear.

I have no idea what will happen but I know that this character subconsciously isn’t interested in the mystery of her body because she’s become attached to her identity as MD.

She isn’t dumb. She’s proven over and over how smart & crafty she is. But in this story in her world surviving as MD and being close to Uk has become central to her life above all else.

It’s for this reason I believe Naksu’s soul having to separate from JBY body will be a tragedy for HER, for NAKSU that will make her heart break into pieces and devastate her.

Amen. No idea why real age is even a factor here. It’s irrelevant to this situation.

0% chance Jang Gang is the father. She gets her powers from the ice stone. People think Jim Mu’s talking about her father but he’s not. And Jang Gang is definitely NOT her father.

The body swap is a tiny TINY portion of the show. They only swap twice and it doesn’t last for long either time.

But anyone who thinks they know for sure what’s happening with either actress for season 2 is way ahead of themselves because it has literally NOT be confirmed by any reputable source what will happen and neither actress has been seen filming 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am almost positive it’s Mama Jin’s voice and she’s furious that Park Jin knew what Queen Shaman Choi / Jinmu were up to and that So Yi was a fake so she fell into their trap which led to this whole chaos with the ice stone happening. That’s my guess because I do think it’s her voice not Shaman Chois

Right I’m not crazy because I swear I remember a scene on Saturday where they spoke to each other privately and he smiled and they explicitly discussed being siblings

So you think there is a third sibling? wasn’t it made clear this weekend Papa Jin is her brother? Am I crazy I thought they discussed it with each other that they will now be able to be close again once she shifts into the Jin family

But seriously, how are they going to fit in everything from the preview trailer in the next 18 episodes. It’s way too much based on the pacing so far. Are they just going to jam pack all the good stuff into the last 18??? I already feel like they have made massive cutdowns in the editing room so I really hope they don’t chop off tons of scenes going forward 😿

I think it’s because of the ice stone. I don’t think it’s about her paternity but rather it’s about her coming to life because of the ice stone.

It’s possible that maybe JSM turned down the extra 10 episodes and they had no choice and will pulls rabbit out of a hat to make Naksu’s old body reappear but I just am not seeing it at all now that we have 18 episodes of this drama. If they had scenes where MD/Naksu in her head imagines herself in her old body even just once or twice maybe kissing UK or being with Uk….. literally anything where in her own imagination/conscious she still saw herself in her old form then I could understand bringing her old form back. But they just haven’t done that at all…… the only single time was during the fitness test to get into Songrim and it was just a re-play of the same scene from episode 1. So I’m just super skeptical about this return to her old self. But I could be completely wrong.

Yes exactly it was to show that Yul is too soft and they would have never worked because she would have ran all over him and he would be hurt all the time. Uk is her better match because they can totally communicate the same way lol

I think the point of the drama *IS* the love focus. It’s love that is the message. Love over greed. Over eternal life. What sacrifices you are willing to make to protect the people you love. What power you are willing to forego to be with the one you love.

Many people understandably want lots of action and OG badass killing shadow assassin Naksu back but I think 18 episodes in the message of the show is that it’s two people who will pass all of that up to protect each other and the journey is their journey and the other stuff is secondary. If the price Naksu has to pay to get her power back is her friends and her lover will die, or she can never see them again she has shown she will choose them over regaining her power.

We may never get the old Naksu back because the price she would have to pay to be strong and powerful in her own body may be too high now that she’s developed all of these relationships.
