In the novel, the creepy pervert uncle doesn't have so much power.... He occasionally shows up in overtime and pesters San Yan to give money but San Yan just throws him out without a second thought and threatens to call the cops if he shows up the next time..... The uncle shows near the workplace of Wen Yi Fan but her colleagues try to protect her...... I hope, there is no unwanted drama or drag or the breakup in the drama.....

Actually this has not showed that she gets remarried within like 2-3 months of her ex husband passing away, so Wen Yi Fan asks whether she cheated on her dad and she denies ....She doesn't change till the end..... Selfish biatch ..... I really like the end and hope they have kept the same as in the novel.....

Shared apartment thing or what happened there is not part of the novel.... So many things are added in the drama

In the novel, he tries to rape her and luckily the aunt comes back....though the aunt still blamed Yi Fan despite catching her brother forcing himself on to yi fan (she was a minor back then)....Yi fan calls the cops and the perverted uncle goes to jail. So he is here for revenge, to stalk, to make her life a hell...

For his birthday, she won't be able to come back to nanwu but San Yan goes to the place where Wen Yi Fan is on business trip... So she will be with her colleagues.... As far as I remember, they kiss in their apartment

I don't think the FL doesn't know.... I mean, people around her keeps /kept telling her that he had a crush on a girl in highschool or how he never had any girlfriend/s or never dated anyone.... So FL shouldn't have known

I have read both the novel and the ongoing webtoon and yet, it still amazes me that how everyone around wen yi fan interprets San Yan's actions as him not liking her or him being bothered by her....lol.... I mean, how????? He is clearly man if few words but his actions speak louder..... He makes breakfast for her almost everyday, has child proofed the house, has told her to text if she is going to be late

IKR.... But I am also disappointed at how they have made wen yifan 's character so naive in the drama.... She looks like soft on the outside but she can say no and we know that..... She is letting her push around....

Exactly.... He is a good guy in the novel and he understood when wen yifan said no to the breakfast he had gotten...here, he more or less looks like a creep. Standing outside his colleague 's place and self inviting when it is night already

He is not like that in the novel...not this pushy atleast....he doesn't go to her house or anything like that....in the drama, they are unnecessarily pushing it

Her two friends came over during the new year 's remember and at the same time San Yan calls her ..... This is not in the novel but they have added this in the drama

I think they added this scene because in the later episode, it is shown that her two friends show up unannounced and they wanted to show the jealous side of San Yan or whatever..... The introduction of the stupid love triangle between the childhood friends itself is so weird and random

Also, where were they when wen yi fan's dad had passed away, or when her grandma passed away or she being sent from one relative's house to another or when students were spreading rumour about her.. they were nowhere around in her past scenes in highschool...... According to them , they have been together from elementary till highschool.... Looks, this childhood friends are after thought from the writer
