I can smell Stardust tries to push Itagaki as Kitamura Takumi's successor, not that I complain since Itagaki is also a talented actor.

Nope, I enjoyed the 2 first episodes and will absolutely bingewatch this after the subs are complete. Still better than your average detective/police jdramas.

I've watched episode 1 and it's way better than I expected. The cinematography is beautiful, the casts are lovable. Don't follow the anime so I can't compare.
Kudos for the casting direcfor for choosing relatively young yet talented actors.

If you don't mind slow paced movies, please try Sweet Bean and My Favorite Girl or Mother. As for dramas, maybe Yutori desu ga, Kyou kara orewa and Kono Koi Atatamemasuka. He rarely become the main role though.

Katori Shingo is blessed with many good dramas, and glad to see you Eun Kyung again in a Jdrama. But the best thing is it has Hiroya Shimizu while dealing with socmed and cyberbullying.

I'm on episode 1 after finishing Kotaki Kyoudai which I love so much. So far it's quite enjoyable, Love the characters here.

Please add Go Ayano and Gakki's Soratobu Kohoushitsu, it's very good but kinda underrated.

I don't know much about this genre btw since I'm more into slice of life dramas, but If you like this one, I think you may enjoy Marry Me!, Remolove or Love Lasts Forever. All of them are from 2020

this show is so underrated, it deserves 8,5 or 9

if you realize, most jdramas ratings are under 8 despite having good plots. I've even seen better Jdramas than this with lower rating here.

WOWOW and Kobayashi Satomi combo is a must watch
