Personally I didn't dig the first 4 episodes, it's okay-ish but nothing special. We only got to see 2 middle aged men who kept arguing, but I'm glad I didn't drop this since it turned out to be sooo good. You'd like it if you're into slow paced slice of life dramas with funny yet intriguing dialogue. It's the typical jdramas which make you ponder and question life and society. The script is just too precious.
The opening song is addicting by the way, I rarely skipped it.
Not me coming here everyday to see the score go up but never see process
please don't mind the rating here. It got decent rating on IMDB (7,8) from more than 12k users and 95% on rotten tomatoes. That's quite an achievement for a japanese show.
Finally, what a feel good ending. Unexpetedly Japan produced so many decent romance dramas in 2020 and Remolove just topped the cake. Tbh back then I wasn't a fan of Haru's acting but I changed my opinion after watching Asa ga kita. And here she proved herself to be ML worthy, her monologue is hilarious, reminded me so much to Nakatsu's monologue from Hanakimi.
anyone, I have a question about episode 2, I'll tag it as spoiler below, please kindly explain this to me. Now I'm rewatching it actually but this scene still baffles me.
