it's a solid drama so far, as expected from Bakarizumu, the cinematography is dope & the actors are perfecty casted. This kind of drama is like a breath of fresh air.

what's wrong with the rating? I know mdl is biased towards jdramas but it's too low. The writer's track record is good, it's also produced by NHK.

Ikr, just look how he reacts everytime Makiko brings up the topic, it's so apparent.

how come no one talks about this? I like the first 2 episodes. The production value is on par with Japanese movies but you need to watch it with an open mind since it's set in 70s. Some of today's moral standards are still incomprehensible back then.

I watched it initially for Mayu & Hayate pairing, but the story is so pointless. The characters are barely likeable too. And why did they make Ritsu suffer so much?
I love Mayu, she's good & a leading actress material but tbh her drama choice is a bit off. I hope her next ones will be better.

I stopped reading after the first sentence.
