His girlfriend is 'arranged' by 2nd ML's older brother because of his business ambitions and it is only when the FL pretends to be Jiang Qian Fan's girlfriend does the 2nd ML get a bit jealous and show some signs of possessiveness.

Hehe! It's just as well that I can enjoy a drama without great kissing scenes!

First time watching the FL and liking her very much. Also watching Cupid's Kitchen for her acting.

Backfires badly for her though when she nearly kills Kesong and her antidote doesn't even work. And then laying the blame on Li Yan is just a further example of a conniving, immoral character.

Yes, that's what I mean as this is the strongest rumour after Ball Lightening. The BL contract according to some melons has a Force Majeure in it and that is putting off all the actors from signing. There's a new rumoured FL for it now.
A month is still a long wait with uncertainty about TBW air date. A bit of a vacuum at the moment but I'm watching both To Fly With You and Cupid's Kitchen alternately to fill it.

I've been watching this drama compulsively and drooling at the gorgeous food! I've never felt so tempted, it's not fair! I have to go to the kitchen and nibble something despite not being hungry. The food prep has been shot so meticulously in detail that I feel inspired to put in more effort into my own dishes.

This page has gathered momentum all of a sudden and it must be due to some of those producers and directors wanting to entice her as the FL? I wasn't the only one who heard so they are perhaps trying to force her hand, seeing that she hasn't committed to anything else?

I did expect her to be in a modern drama following on from the two costume ones she filmed last year so I spent ages on the Ball Lightening page and read the book; Sci-Fi is the tag for that drama but it is set in the early Noughties and is basically about the Military and developing super weapons. I think Dil will do fine acting in such a drama. We heard that she turned that down but if the circumstances have changed now then I hope we have an announcement soon about that. As you say CNY is not far off now. BTW is it also known as Spring Festival?

I was wondering why there's so many commercials coming out all at once, lovely though they are to watch and she looks healthy in them. Going home to her parents with lots of scripts and making a decision in relaxed environs seems the best option. I'm getting excited about it all now! Our patience should pay off soon I hope.

Still don't feel like reading the novel so I can't say much about the ML's Character but I think CXX will be perfectly OK in this role.
Just checking out CXX background and watching some of his drama trailers.
It seems to me he is a serious young actor who takes on varied roles rather than seek popularity. Plenty of experience since he started acting at 3!
His, The Best of Times looks like a decent 'slice of life' drama which is so different to Fall in Love. He has strong features and looks more mature than his age, I think he is tall as well so that is a plus already. ( DD is tall too) It will be interesting to see how he looks opposite Reba, if not in this drama then perhaps elsewhere in the future.

So it was a done deal for both of them and speculating about either was a waste of time by C-netizens. But at least there were/are no fan wars and both sides support the pairing.
