AOS is my first drama of hers and wow i didn't expect her to sound like that. idk if that's weird to say lmao but i was expecting her voice to be more cute (?) but surprisingly not. love her voice, it's so pleasing to listen to.
just started it and already loving it. go younjung is a pleasure to watch on screen. i was missing mudeok initially but by end of ep1 & 2 she has me convinced. brooding janguk is more fun and attractive hehe who would have thought! now only if we could avoid the dreaded love triangle š
great drama! wish kdramas attempt more fantasy/magic/action dramas with a fully drawn out world and unique set of rules. the story and execution is so good, could have been a masterpiece imo if they could have cut around 4 eps of fillers and fluff. but some of those drawn out and seemingly unnecessary scenes are what makes the characters endearing to us, so there's that. ep20 was kinda rushed but exciting nevertheless. excited for part 2, and see how the dynamics between the real naksu/gyj and janguk is gonna play out. will miss somin's mudeok. she made the character the right amount of adorable and endearing.
around ep6 and it's gotten better and the leads have so much chemistry! love when makjangs makjang
completed! not a single boring moment, kept me intrigued and entertained. love me a drama that knows how to do drama. the chemistry between the leads were wonderful, the villains, the acting all were really good despite the lower budget.
For those that watched some episodes and didn't like it I'm here to tell you it doesn't get better so don't bother.…
this exactly. i was half foot on the parody/satire boat but this week's episodes confirmed that it really is neither. agree with you on the investors. hard not to get the ick when it's obvious they are pushing the agenda having eve repeat the 3 humans on the ILS dialoue. but they also are not quite pushing the purity or loyalty agenda which isn't very Christian imo. that's why the script just confuses me in general. what is the intention lol. what are we going for as the final msg?
why are you still watching when you know you aren't enjoying it?
i pay for my Netflix so I'll watch i want lol? and who says I wasn't enjoying? the overall weirdness and wackiness of the plot is quite fascinating to me. except the cell is a human being stupidity. but my enjoyment or the lack of it doesn't stop me from being puzzled at the production investment or plot. š
weirdness continues as usual. so does the nonsensical pro life endorsement. i highly doubt that is in any way advantageous to their birth rate agenda. what even made the production company invest the copious amounts of money that they did on this script is the biggest mystery imo. what did they see in the script that we aren't seeing
can we talk about the reversal of tropes with jiyun shielding eunho from the sun, choosing to eat what he likes, the confession and THEN initiating the kiss?! a woman boss indeed.
ep1: a drama made for the drama; no logic, facts, science or budget holding it back what's not to love?! š¤£
