This is so true. I expected the worst after reading all the comments but it was surprisingly interesting. I was in it mostly for Do Rami but the rest of the characters and how they reacted made sense once it’s clear this isn’t a typical romcom like what was teased in the initial teasers (I haven’t watched the extended trailer/ didn’t read the summary before starting so wasn’t aware of the twist).

I think next time I watch a series, I'll just avoid the comment section. I know everyone has different tastes, but honestly... some people comment just to dump their own life frustration.🙂

This saved the K-drama world for me. Recently, there hadn’t been any K-dramas that really piqued my interest—until this came along. It’s pure magic. 10/10.

I really love this series and its the best korean drama opener for a brand new year for me! It kept me at the edge of my seat and all the scenery and creative direction was inexplicably beautiful, unlike all the kdramas I've been watching as of late. I was scared while watching it because of all the harsh comments below, but I was really worried about nothing. In the future I shouldn't read the comments before watching it myself, could've enjoyed it more without all the worrying.

Finally! A romantic drama that's not a formulaic trope-filled cliche! Creative risks were taken here and I love that because it made me slow down and think..

I understand that this might be confusing for some because there are so many threads, but I was never confused because I'm always excited when film makers break away from the norm and take risks, so this had me riveted. I was giggling so much in those early episodes from the cute interactions with Cha Muhee and HoJin.

And her alter ego Do Rami was a fun trouble maker too.

The parents drama at the end was unnecessary and added nothing to the story, though. They could have used that time to give us some cute moments with the leading couple.

No. All costume dramas with rating more than 8.8 are VERY GREAT. Do you wanna some examples for GREAT COSTUME DRAMAS with rating above 8.8? Other Costume dramas that got 8.5 - 8.7 are also GREAT. No need to drag the others down to make your favorite become a top. Shameless action. Lowly behaviour.

Don't watch it, this is not a romance drama. She is just a display in the drama and has a zero impact on the plot which is very accurate to the history so far.

This is inevitable and has been ongoing for thousands of years. Quite sure today whatever is ethnic Han or Manchurian or Tibetian is not the same as thousands of years ago. This happens everywhere - bloodlines get diluted over time. It is simply part of the journey of man.

Liking this so far... So many detestable characters impressive acting throughout especially the senior actors and zhao kuang yin have a soft spot for him.. The change in dynamics gonna be interesting coming episodes especially with arrival of the new emperor. Also curious about the development of the 9 prince, it's taking so long or am I being impatient? Anyway good drama so far your eyes have to be glued to the screen otherwise you may end up missing important stuff can't multi task with this one lol
