Good Grief

I've only watched the first episode so far. For me, it's OK to not having any romance, but if it's just guys in the plot that would be weird. And that's true for any period in history. Women have always played a role throughout history.

Loved the first episode. Great acting.

Yeah, definitely not a chick flick, and not for the average MDL viewer. Maybe more of a guys' type of show, even though lots of females would enjoy it too. Well, I could be wrong on it being more of a guys' type.

However, I do find him very manly attractive and he's an excellent actor. I have been familiar with his work for a while now and liked his acting from get-go.

Interest rates go up and down. Right now the best you can get in US is around 3% without the FDIC protection. My guess is that Korea is somewhat similar to US regarding how rates and protection works.

Also, savings' interest rates don't correspond that well with inflation.

You are absolutely correct. However, it's yes and no on purchasing power. Some things are less and some things are more. I am very familiar with purchasing power in not only different nations, but different cities within the same nation.

Good grief, 1.3 billion Won is roughly one million Dollars which definitely is not enough to quit your job and retire. Guessing he realizes it pretty quickly. Having said that, a million bucks will absolutely help me a lot 😁

At the beginning of the show I didn't mind too much about plot holes as I had mentioned it before. But, the writing has gone downhill way too much. No logic whatsoever.

I truly didn't expect much when I started this drama. But, after 14 episodes, I am very satisfied. It is surprisingly very good and I am really enjoying it. Episodes go by way too fast and I have a hard time waiting for the next one.

Really hoping the script stays on course and doesn't get weird out.

The acting all around was absolutely phenomenal, and I am including the support cast, lots of them and yes even the bit parts.

Loved Justin John Harvey character. He truly did a fantastic job. Hoping to see him in more Kdramas.
