My apologies, I did not mean you were saying it was for nefarious reasons. I meant to say even if her reasons are ill intended, the results are still good for the causes.
I live in US and this is the norm for celebrities to do this to attract the public to these causes.
I wonder...has IU ever considered simply making her donations anonymously and secretly, without splashy press…
When celebrities and people of influence make their major donations public it helps the causes by informing the public about these organizations and issues. Hence, more donations from public come in.
Whether her donations are for nefarious reasons, her donations help to bring forth these causes and more donations from others. So, it is a good thing for the causes.
From what I have read so far about IU, she is genuinely a beautiful person both on the outside and inside. She has consistently have donated to worthwhile causes in significant amounts. Wish her much happiness and even more success.
Even though I have seen tons of this trope, I am still enjoying this drama so far. But, I can definitely understand why some are not into it. And, I really don't like love triangle. Hopefully, the 3rd wheel won't be the annoying kind.
If both partners are actors and one cannot respect the other's career (specially considering how both parties…
What a beautifully written comment. Thank you for your open and honest reply, much appreciate it.
I had this discussion with a coworker. He said it wouldn't bother him at all, whereas I would not like it at all. Of course for me it was not an issue morality or ethically. The idea if sharing saliva with another man via proxy does not sit well with me. Just like I don't like sushi or raw meat. It doesn't make eating raw meat or sushi wrong, it just means it's not for me. Simply matter of how I am wired. BTW, I am very pro LGTBQ+.
Both of them are actors, this is their job. They know it's not a real kiss when 30 people are watching you.
Thank you for your reply. I apologize if I offended anyone with my curiosity and inquiries about how viewers would feel about their partners doing kissing scenes or what the actor feels.
Doesn't he kiss?? then he should feel the same way as he does. Wn partner start interfering doubting picky abt…
Thank yo for your reply. Yes, you make very good and valid points. I meant no disrespect to anyone. Was just curious about how the viewers here would feel about if their partners were actors and did kissing scenes. Again, no offense meant.

Thank you for reply. Very good points which I agree with. Again, I was just wondering how the MDL viewers would feel about their partners doing kissing scenes and such. Just a light hearted convo, nothing serious nor condescending remark on my part.

Yes, I know. However, believe it or not, there have been real issues among actors. They are humans like us mortals. Just because they accept it, it does not mean they are indifferent to it. Of course, we all come in different mind sets. Some people truly don't mind it, like my ex-coworker.
I was just wondering about the viewers here. What do they think how they would feel about it. I for one would not like it one bit. Then again, I never had a crush on a celebrities.
All the girls here are loving the boat scene, well, it was a great one. But, I keep thinking how IU's boyfriend, Lee Jong Suk, thinks of it? Which I always wondered how you ladies would think if your significant other was doing these scenes? One of my ex-coworkers said it would not bother him at all if his wife kissed as an actress.
EDIT: I apologize for my comment if I offended anyone. That was not my intention. The thought crossed my mind as to how these wonderful actors and/ or their partners think and handle these kind of scenes of their partners. But, more interesting to me was what would the viewers here would feel if their partner were actors and did these kind of scenes. I was really hoping for a good, open, and honest discussion. Sorry for not thinking this through and my shortsighted curiosity.
