Thank you. I am up to episode 44 and I definitely see Lanxiang showing genuine love toward Jinqi. Maybe because I am an old man and have experienced both feelings of love and being in love where I can see it in her eyes and gaze toward him and how she interacts with him. I definitely feel that she truly loves him. Great actress, very natural show of emotions BTW.

Also, from what I remember being in love typically lasts a couple of years and not a life time as some people mistake their love for their partner as being in love with them after many many years.

Also, there is a difference between being in love and love. I learned that when I went through my divorce from my psychiatrist books recommendation. Yes, divorce is tough on men too.

I believe the FL did not go through falling in love, but rather grew to love the ML. And, that is much stronger for her in this story.

Wish there were some psychiatry majors who know the difference between love and being in love so they could explain it better. Unfortunately, entertainment industry throughout the ages always glorifies being in love, but never show us what usually comes after.

I now understand why the rating is so low for this drama. In the very first episode when the ML (Li Xian) is taking a shower they only show his head and no naked torso. 😁

As an old man I have high hopes for this drama since the director, original creator, and screenwriter are all females.

Usually, not always, females tend to do a more realistic script, and avoid male centric nonsense such as forcefully grabbing a female hand.

As far as I am concerned the inconsistent number of released episodes per day is for the birds and is $#%&*@^$#%&^# 😤🤯😬🤬

I have known Lee Jun Hyuk for a while now and have always liked him as an actor. Didn't remember Ha Yul Ri even though I have seen a few of her works. I think the director is doing a marvelous job of allowing the actors to shine.

I just want to say Liu Mei Han who portrays Ji Er character is an excellent actress. I was very impressed with her skills from the beginning. She has shown the whole range of emotions and done them with finesse.

Truly excellent actors in this drama. It really shows how well the production is and what a wonderful and capable director it has.

Yes, I agree. I think the reason I personally like it more than Misaeng is because it is lighthearted and easier for me to digest.

I know some people have compared it to "Misaeng: Incomplete Life", but I think even though it's on the same level as Misaeng it is still very different.

Definitely not an idol or romance drama. I think it appeals to more experienced viewers who appreciate something different than the usual trope, it is a very realistic plot.

And, then we have the stellar cast, down to small parts. Super fantastic actors all around. Kudos to the production team.

Does anyone know why Chinese web dramas have irregular daily releases?

With the exception of the first day and last day releases, usually it's two episodes per day, but then some days is one episode and some days no episodes. I can understand for regular TV channels' programming be preempted by other events. But web releases do not have these issues.
