I still don't understand these dramas, with so many revenge plans??? When you only need one arrow, bullet to kill…
You are most welcome and it was well deserved.
Did I give away how ancient I am π I have watched tons of movies, black and white and some silent movies. There are so many classics that I can rewatch without getting tired of them, that's how good they are.
One thing I have come to guess is that Korean entertainment industry are in love with the Love Story movie, they just love tragedy. Sometimes it's best to try not to mimic a truly gem of classic. But, there are a few tragedy Korean movies which I love.
My opinion is not about the fantasy portion, but the political plot.
If the Left Min Rasputin, as InspectorMegre has called him, is so powerful who no one can go up against and he controls the royals so easily, then he can easily become king himself. The politics makes no sense to me at all.
This drama has great actors, though. Main Leads acting when switched bodies was well done in my opinion.
I became a fan of Choi Woo Shik after seeing him in The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion. His acting chops are definitely 1st rate. Truly a capable actor in any role. He has a bright future ahead of him.
Season 2 is good, very good, but not like season 1. Season 1 is in a class of it's own, simply outstanding.
Every episode in season 1 was very engaging and thrilling, no dull moments, and it simply flowed very well. Season 2 felt a bit like a filler, not bad, but not excellent either. I am hoping that season 3 will be just as exciting and riveting as season 1.
BTW, I am definitely not a fan of these types of trilogies where one has to wait years to see what happens next. Well, I am not much of fan of seasons to begin with.
Anyway, take my opinion with a spoonful of salt, because after all it's just an opinion π
Wow, what a masterpiece. A 10 for sure. 46 episodes and not a boring one. Fantastic writing, script, directing, editing, acting, and perfect comedy. A shame that the final season, season 3, is not out yet.
This definitely wasn't what I thought it was, but so glad I finally watched it. A true worldwide masterpiece.
1. I am so over MLs acting emotionally immature as a way to "get the FL back." This is not a high school…
Loved your comment, and I am an old man.
Your point one, well, is to the point π I was actually very pleasantly surprised to see a female viewer point out exactly what I keep thinking with these dramas. I have two beautiful married daughters and I would be very heart broken if that happened to them.
I agree with the scenario you were expecting, because that's what I thought the synopsis indicated and I also was expecting, a mature way of progression.
But, allow me to also say that myself really didn't mature till I was 40 after my divorce, and typically males mature much later than females. So, I am hoping that the show, having ten episodes left, will show the ML character develop in a mature and positive way rather than as you called it, childish way.
So many dislikeable characters in this drama...heyAnyway, at least SHM's mom reflected on her bad deeds and showed…
There was a historical Korean king who married 3 sisters. Seems like in historical East Asia it was OK to marry sisters. Also, in modern times this happens. People break up and end up with the sibling of the person they broke up with. But, I am with you, too cringe and yucky.
And, so refreshing, never done before, one night stand pregnancy, rich CEO, poor hard working girl, etc. π€£ EDIT: I am still watching it. π

Let's face it, Korean movie entertainment is on par with Hollywood. Well, entertainment in general, to be honest.
And they are very good at their craft β€οΈ
Congratulations!!!
