Does this season 1 ends with a cliffhanger? I really do not enjoy episode's cliffhangers to begin with, and season cliffhangers are truly not my liking.

I don't know about Chinese actors, but it's a thing in Japan where they, both celebrities and ordinary people, actually go to dentists to make their teeth crooked. It's considered very appealing in Japan.

You are exactly right. I also called the fact that the episodes which were not aired yet had ratings of 1.0 in my earlier comment. Totally unacceptable for MDL to allow that.

Again, you are absolutely correct to call the unsavory MDL users to rate this superb fine drama 1.0 just because of their hate. I do not like sushi, but that does not mean I will give sushi restaurants a one star. As a matter of fact, I won't rate them at all simply because I do not go there, so how could I even rate them. So unethical of these people to purposely underrate a great drama.

I just hope that people who are interested in this type of drama ignore the rating and pay attention to the actual viewers who have watched this lovely drama.

This is why one can not trust MDL ratings. This is a very solid show. At least 8.5, up to at least 9.0 rating.

This is truly a hidden gem for those viewers who enjoy a mature story and strong female character. The romance is extremely subtle, yet for me very likeable.

It's not a heavy romance, idol actors, or typical drama. Not that there is anything wrong with those. This is just something different and very enjoyable for a few of us who like variety. If you enjoyed The Story of Ming Lan you would like this too.

I really want to take my time too. Unfortunately, the episode is over before I realize I should take a break 🤣🤣🤣

Ugh, this two episodes per day is for the birds. Of course if they dropped 10 episodes per day I would still be complaining 😂😂😂

Definitely watch both if you like strong female centric dramas. I am truly enjoying this, very mature and adult oriented production.

Even though I love romance, I am totally OK with lack of or light romance. This drama so far only has a hint of romance between the two leads. But, we are right in the middle, it's a 42 episode drama. I believe the light romance is about to start.

Dear fellow MDL viewers of this great drama, please rate the individual episodes you have watched so that the ratings on this drama correlates more to the actual rating this drama deservers..

Some unsavory MDL users have given super low ratings to all the episodes including the ones yet to air to bring down the ratings for this fabulous drama. Please rate the episodes you have seen as you see fit. However, please refrain from rating the unseen ones. Two wrongs don't make it right.

Also, I have no idea how some viewers have given reviews to this drama and marked it as "completed." Again, two wrongs do not make it right.

Really wish MDL correct this anomaly and discourage these practices so that we the viewers can have more faith in reviews and ratings.

Even though there's nothing original or exceptional in this drama, imho it's truly an excellent and engaging one. I believe 1st and foremost it's because of the excellent directing. Then, fantastic actors and a very good story.

Without a good director, no matter how excellent the story is, or has many excellent actors in it, it will definitely fall apart. Now add a very good story and many excellent actors all around, then it becomes a success. BTW, the support cast is really fantastic, the good, the bad, and the ugly characters are all portrayed by stellar actors. Kudos to them all.

When I watch these episodes, the time goes by so fast and I end up really sad that I have to wait another days for only two more episodes.

Yeah, I figured this must have been going on for a while. I just noticed it though. Didn't think it was possible. Surprised from programming side that it is allowed. It's an easy fix.

There are lots of drama which are similar or close to this one. Do you see the recommendations section under this drama? Those are good. Don't mind the ratings as they are nor very accurate.

I just saw the episodes ratings. Amazing that all unaired episodes have been rated. MDL, do better. Do not allow unaired episodes to be rated. Ugh!
