Lots of holes just like a James Bond movie, and tons of fun just like a James Bond movie.
Great actors plus great CGI made it really fun to watch. The first Korean production, drama or movie, I have seen with quality foreign actors and great English pronunciations by Korean actors. I mean wow, the quality of Korean actors speaking English is simply awesome.
What a great production this was. Is it a 10, absolutely not. Really need to look at this production as if one is watching a James Bond movie. Throw out the logic and just enjoy the ride.

I understand and appreciate your point of view. I respectfully disagree with much of it. I do wish too that the people come together and and be more educated about such issues.
I am definitely not an expert in these politics, having said that, I know enough to know North Korean's Kims dynasty is pure evil. Putin, Xi, Iran's Mullahs, Saudi Arabia, and many other countries are horrible toward their own people.
US and many Western nations foreign policy are bad too. But, that has been historically true for Chinese, Persian, Roman, Creek, and Egyptian empires. In other words strong nations force their will on weaker nations.
In Tempest, America has been shown the most and definitely looks the worst, not including South Korea. Technically speaking South Korean government looks vastly the worst in Tempest.

I was born a Muslim, but I am an atheist myself. I have learned much about religion and how religion was created to control the masses.
Generally speaking I do not like politicians and religious leaders simply because historically they are the root cause of many wars and suffering of the people.
I also do not like equating a government of a country with the people of said country. Just because I do not like Trump, it does not make me anti American. Just because I do not like the government of Israel, it does not make antisemite. Just because I like Palestinians and understand their cause, it does not make pro Hamas.
My point has been the Tempest controversy mainly comes from the CCP government. It is not your average Chinese citizen who was offended and started the campaign. It's like that in US with Fox News, Rupert Murdock news empire. He has gotten rich by doing spewing hate throughout the world. It's all about control and money.
Tempest, and the Korean dramas and movies I have see and I have seen hundreds, always portray the US government as bad or evil, yet I have yet to see anyone complain about it and say why are they showing Americans as bad. And, frankly I do not think anyone should, simply because it's just a show and we Americans are OK with it and understand it's just a show and it means nothing. We are accustom to it because we see it in our own American productions.
Sorry, I got carried away and became too verbose. I just wish and hope for more tolerance.
Folks, there are lots of Chinese CCP trolls and keyboard warriors here. All you have to do is check their profile.…
I got blocked by RobertBobert, so I won't be able to see your replies under that thread. If you would like me to see your reply, please (also) post it under this thread. Thank you.

Check my profile first before accusing me of being anti-Chinese (forgive me if I made a wrong assumption.) My parents had visited China and I also have had Chinese friends and coworkers.
I was born in Middle East, and a Muslim. I immigrated to US during my high school years. Even in Middle East, both myself and my family had friends of different religions and countries. I am now retired, and during my life in US I have had many friends of various religions, races, country of origin, and sexual orientations, etc. You might label me a lefty.
I have nothing against people of any country, it's the governments which I have issues with, and yes, that would include American government. And, this is something that we Americans have celebrated, freedom to express our views, pro or con, about our government till Trump.
If you delve into both the profiles of trolls here and catch up with the backstory of this issue, you will question the validity of this issue.
I have been watching Korean dramas and movies, and close to 50 Chinese ones, since 2012. I have yet to see one Korean production which would show the US government in a good way, always bad. Yet, never showed the North Korean government in a bad way. Of course, that does not mean that there aren't any just because I have not seen one. I am very cognizant of that. Yet, whether in this site or other sites, I have never seen one American make an issue of this anti-American government sentiment in South Korean productions.
You can say a lot of bad things about the American government and I probably will agree with you on many of them. But, let's not make CCP a saint. They are an oppressive regime, both to their own people and outside. Look what they have done to Uyghurs, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Philippines as a few examples.
after learning korean I realized that subs don't really translate literally but just get the meaning across to…
I am bilingual, so I do understand the intricacies of translation. However, when there is a perfectly direct translation, there's no need to change the script. This case I mentioned is a very good example.
The funniest ones are the ones that the actor says "Thank you" in English and the sub changes it to "Thanks."
Thanks again.

Like your handle. Is it in reference to the movie?
