I know right! This drama is so underrated. People just skip when they saw mostly veteran actors.
Maybe because I am old, but I really value veteran actors. Not just the main cast, but really do enjoy works of support actors who show a great range in their craft.
I am actually really enjoying this drama. It's easy to watch, not too much nonsense, with good acting and good amount of light comedy.
For me a lot of the issues which other viewers are bringing up has not been a factor. My only complaint is the SML replacement actor's graphic rendition. Very distracting the way it has been incorporated, both visual and sound.

Yes, everything you wrote is highly likely, it's just that I didn't think it was good writing how it was presented. Like how he didn't go home for a few days and got sick.
I think if they showed him to go home on the first day and have a good discussion about it with the FL, albeit heated and filled with anger with the points you made, it would have been much more intelligent writing and more palatable. Dang, the Director and Writer should had consulted you first 😂

I understand. My comment was mainly about ML's response about FL's mother's action. He is supposed to be very intelligent and good with planning, yet he made snap judgment without gathering facts. Not the best way to come up with a conflict for the Director/Writer in my opinion.

As you have excellently described in your 1st paragraph, all of a sudden, intelligence goes out the door to satisfy lazy writing. And, your 2nd paragraph provides an awesome alternative for the conflict. 1000 thumbs up!

Read an article that the director introduced this divorce to show that the ML is not perfect. Well, there are many other smarter ways to show a character is not perfect without using this old and stale play in these dramas.
Episode 30, around 15:45, reminds me of silent era exaggerations. 😒

Episode 30 is nothing but bunch of lazy entertainment writing where intelligent people become dumb as a rock in an instance.
