I am really curious. How are they going to reconcile the fact that the emperor was a child when he transmigrated. Don't they usually go back to their own world roughly the same time they left it?
I am really curious. If you were a single lady and found yourself in a reverse male harem, meaning you were the one who had male concubines, would you stay celibate if they were really good looking?
I have to admit I did not enjoy the later episodes as much as the earlier ones. And, even though historically not super accurate, still this was an excellent watch for me. Really enjoyed the superb story and the actors. Absolutely different and refreshing from typical dramas. There are lots of fantastic dramas, and this one stands out on its own as well.
I would like to add that this drama is definitely not for everyone. Viewers who enjoy history, realistic politics, epic tale, engaging complex dialogs, and don't mind lack of romance will find this very enjoyable.
It was extremely difficult to understand ep 38 since the subs seemed to be machine generated. Not sure why they dropped the ball all of the sudden. Shame, such a wonderful drama, truly underrated here. Rating should be around 9.
This drama for me is extremely captivating and addictive.
Definitely not for everyone, no romance or comedy, just lots of politics and real life type history. Remember, it's still entertainment, meaning it is not 100% accurate, just the main events are. It is very well executed with excellent acting, directing, story, and production.
For me, this is very captivating. I am truly enjoying this historical drama. I really don't mind there is no romance. I do enjoy variety, so this is a good break from romance, comedy, etc.
I am sure there are inaccuracies in this drama, but since I do not know the history, I am not minding it. As long as they don't turn the history on it's head like Korean drama Impress Ki, I am good with it.
Absolutely amazing in the number of actors they are using, never seen it before. Never a dull moment for me. Of course, this drama is not for everyone and that is totally OK. Not everyone likes Sushi, including me 😊
Thank you so much for your kind words towards Go Youn Jung, I literally teared up.I am so happy people are finally…
Of course, you are very welcome.
Few people mentioned her excellent acting skills. And, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a male actor portraying the two personalities, he would get a lot more recognition here. But, that's understandable and nothing wrong with that. Afterall, the majority of viewers here are females and a majority of those are younger ones.
Luckily for her and us, the powers do recognize her skills and she will be offered more roles, hopefully more praise worthy ones like this drama.
I really enjoyed this drama. No it wasn't perfect, but very enjoyable for me.
It was definitely a Kdrama without being a typical Kdrama. I like variety, otherwise it would be boring.
I was impressed by Go Youn Jung's acting skills. Not easy to portray two personalities and mesh them together when needed. Very beautiful and capable young actress. If the interview she gave, as posted here in MDL, are her true words, then she is very humble and intelligent person as well, which there's no reason for me to doubt.

Actor Cha Jung Won has indicated that if he gets married he would like to get married in summer. His girlfriend is actress Cha Jung Won.
