Title Spooky in Love Spoiler
It does feel a bit contrived with the scene where it turns out he's alive without a visible bruise or bandage along with clothes that didn't seem to match, it was made out like that as a sleight of hand to add to the suspense he's a ghost. The build up of the emotional intensity of the scene seemed disjointed.

However, it's a big relief he's alive and still fighting to develop his relationship with her. My personal opinion is I wouldn't want to see him as a ghost or in a coma but him appearing to her physically looking like he's didn't get hit by a car is a bit off. Perhaps it's arguable after he was resuscitated, he left despite being told by the hospital to stay so that he could find her and make sure she is ok.

Either way his character is likeable and relatable! I guess I will accept it is a fantasy romance haha. I thought the rest of ep 5 was funny and cute and they still executed well despite the forced suspense in the beginning. I still love the show so far ♥️.

If you like 'not very serious' type ghost stories with romantic comedy tropes mixed in between, you will like this. Romance is slow in the beginning but chemistry is really good b/w the leads.

I really like how quickly they resolved the dating other people misunderstanding and that they didn't leave it…
Ikr they both were very straightforward and cute about it. Both were actually eager to clear the misunderstanding about themselves. Plus the whole andromeda, Black hole thing was funny.

I really like how quickly they resolved the dating other people misunderstanding and that they didn't leave it sit til tomorrow. And that they made the resolution to it quite charming and it felt like it moved their relationship forward.

I am enjoying it very much, but there are some things that bother me. For instance, the police always gets tip-offs, they rush to the scene, find a body and they always see that prosecutor and that red-haired lady. They never take them to the police station to question them, they never question the fact that every single time those two people are present in the middle of nowhere having found a body? Sometimes there is mention in the media of who tipped off, and a picture of her. Wouldn't that always be the case, normally?
Instead, we see the pair go away undisturbed and nobody asks a single question.

I know this is a highly subjective question, but is the male lead unlikeable in this? I am seeing a lot of comments…
He's really not unlikeable at all imo. He's trying too hard and overcompensating and as a result not really paying attention to how Yi Jae feels. But I think those kinds of growing pains are expected after 10-15 years. And Yi Jae calls him out on it pretty quick.

I do have some issues with the writing in general. Eleison put it well, they leave out how certain things happen. It's like they start the idea and then don't connect it and the audience is left putting the pieces together. They are focused on the plot but leaving out some of the character development necessary to make the plot decisions make sense.

I thought he must be awful due to the comments, too, but I'm not quite sure why everyone's getting into such a tizzy about him. I think he made some mistakes (as does she, but in different ways), so while I thought he could have done better, I don't think he was dreadful or anything. There are some parts where it feels a bit like they leave an unexplained gap in HOW things end up happening the way they do, but so far it's alright. Of course, your safest bet is to wait until it finishes to find out since it's at this point dramas usually take a nosedive.
