I've never seen a kdrama with Go Ara, is she a good actress?
She’s definitely not as bad as people make her out to be. I’ve not watched many of her projects but Black is one of my favourite kdramas and not once did I think her performance was bad
This drama has been a beam of sunlight in my life, I've been getting so much joy from watching the main couple, the second couple and all the stories. Like most people here, I'm also not that big on childhood connections and was prepared to overlook it but somehow they've made it feel less formulaic than what I expected. Maybe it's because they haven't added the "we met and connected as children" first-degree connection. Plus, it also helps that they've been very thoughtful and mature this entire show and show all signs of remaining that way. Anyhoo, the bigger conflict on hand is the future of PeopleZ. Invested in how they'll resolve that conflict. And of course, infinitely more invested in the relationships. Hoping for more heartfelt and direct conversations between the leads, which have been a speciality of the show. :)
By day, Dan-bi works as a member of the youth protection team, monitoring countless adult content. By night, she writes for a fairy tale contest. One day, she crashes into the classic car owned by the CEO of an adult web novel publishing house and is now faced with the situation of paying him back by writing adult fiction every night! However, this predicament is short-lived. Dan-bi skillfully writes the sexual fantasies of three friends with her unique touch. Before she knows it, she becomes an overnight sensation. Additionally, her sensual stories awaken the senses of her colleague, Jung-seok, who has been experiencing sexual dysfunction for the past several years. (description via letterbox.)

……but is a S2 even worth it? I saw someone’s comment that S1 had a lot of fluff in it and could have stretched…
It really isn't fluff. It is character building. Without overcoming adversity, Mudan and Chang Yang would be very different characters. This team has really built the world in which this story unfolds very well. It is similar to The Story of Minglan. While it takes a while for the leads to fall in love, It is worth the wait. We truly get to see the evolution of their love and friendship be built brick by brick. It will make the ending that much more satisfying. I usually do not like slow burn romances but this one is different. There are other parts of the story and fully fleshed out characters that keep it interesting. The next season will up the stakes with the male lead going into battle. I look forward to seeing their story unfolds.

I understand dramatic license, but with a medical background, I struggle with inaccuracies. When the actors are doing things medically incorrect, or if something happens and I immediately say, "Come on, that would NEVER happen!", it takes me out of the show.

Excellent drama, short and sweet. Highly recommended, just like all other posters have already noted.Yoon Gyung…
completely agree. Yoon Gyung Ho is a genius actor. From the bad cop in Worst of Evil to this, the versatility is insane! All the actors were excellent but Yoon Gyung Ho deserves a special mention
Zhang Yuan Ang: There's no need to balance the two because female independence and male charisma are not in opposition. They complement each other. If we were to highlight the male lead's charm by forcibly diminishing the [element of] female lead's independence, then, in the context of the drama, this would mean every time He Wei Fang faces a challenge and has to deal with it, Jiang Chang Yang descends from the sky [to save her], interrupting her efforts. That would signal distrust and disrespect for the female lead's capabilities.
And this is EXACTLY why I don't like watching het dramas. Why does a woman need ML to interfere and solve her problems? Why can't she do it by herself. If she needs help, she will ask. If she needs emotional or financial support, she will ask. If she needs a favour, she. will. ask. If she doesn't ask, it means she is more than capable of handling her problems. So, why are you stifling her capability?
