The antis are surely working their ass off.... 7.5 is just ridiculous. Tbh I'm someone who looks at the rating before starting a drama. I was very reluctant to start this. But somehow I started because of YZ. This drama is really good. I also recommend people to watch this. Ep 4 it's still going strong
I expected the rating to go higher after a couple of days but it actually went down from a 7.8 to a 7.5. This is a solid 8.5+ drama. Why is the rating so low? I don't understand 🙁
I simply can't fathom the low rating on this drama. No, it's not a masterpiece, but still a very good drama. It…
It's always like that at the beginning of a drama, people whom expectations are not met will give bad ratings, but then all the people who watch the drama to the end will give fairer reviews, and the ratings usually raise. That's what exactly like that during Love between Fairy and Devil where the ratings dropped even lower at the beginning.
One thing I found interesting in these recent episodes is seeing more western and supposedly modern influences appear in the story. I don’t know much about the Ming Dynasty, so it’s interesting hearing Europe and Japan being mentioned, plus seeing a mixed-race red head character in the drama. Then again, they’re merchants involved in trade, so it does make sense.
I also couldn’t stop thinking about the use of ticks and crosses to mark the ink recipes. Was that actually common during the Ming Dynasty? It felt oddly modern every time it appeared.
She was so damn funny in Wonderfools! Loved her character and everybody else's too in the drama. Her chemistry with CEW is also really good. Drama overall was really entertaining! I really appreciate her for choosing such nice interesting scripts. Hope she does more comedy characters in future too. ❤️
I LOVE how ML knows EXACTLY who his arch enemies are. There is NO misunderstanding of any kind in whether "they did it or didn't do it" business. And because we as viewers also saw what had happened to his family, we're rooting for ML all the way. I'm so relishing every single step ML is taking in exacting vengeance.
