Person Ryan Cheng
I love this guy sm...he is such a good actor especially with those intense eyes and am SO looking forward to his new works (I just saw the Leading Stars kiss scenes...render me dead)
The only thing I yearn for with him is a drama with him and Lu Yuxiao as main leads. Call me desperate, living in the past, unrealistic, whatever. But Gong Shangjue remains my favourite character of his, and Shangguan Qian x Gong Shangjue is forever going to be one of my unfulfilled roman empires. It was an unreal era of them together, but we'll see what the future holds

Wowowwow all of Cheng Lei's upcoming dramas have such fire kissing scenes...I don't remember last seeing him make out like that ahh
They're feeding us so well with these drama reuters
Honestly I think China has finally moved out of statue kissing...they've been phasing out gradually these past few years

Not the blatant grape konjac jelly advertisements lmfao
But I've been eating those since I was a kid so it's valid...konjac jelly is really good and honestly gives me a sense of nostalgia

Title Love for You
The novel has some explicit scenes with quite a lot of spice. It was a good novel though, so if you don't mind…
Overall it should follow the novel's general direction but most likely not completely.

Title Love for You Spoiler
Guys, how is the novel? Should I read it before the show starts? Will the show follow the novel?
The novel has some explicit scenes with quite a lot of spice. It was a good novel though, so if you don't mind spoilers you could read it. Maybe you might prefer reading it after you watch the drama to compare, but it's all down to personal preference. The show should probably follow the novel but they might remove some factors like Tu Li being Chen Yi's girlfriend and over sexualizing Tu Li's character. They also might remove most of the explicit scenes in the novel because of censorship (there is like an ungodly level of smut).

YES I'm so sat for ts...ahhh!! I've been waiting since goodness knows when and AHH it's finallyyyy coming out....I love both the actors and the novel is good and I'm just really really excited now. I don't think I've been this excited for any drama to air this year except for Love Has Fireworks which is a "lets not mention that" little disappointment so I really hope this one cures my 2026 "not living up to expectation" dramas

Best historical novel ever...it pulls you in so hard
In the beginning when the cast was first announced everyone was like "ehhh....nahhh...ehh" and I was like what so I decided to read the novel to see what everyone was complaining about
ITS SO GOOD so any of you after you watch the drama read the novel if you don't want spoilers. If you're trying to decide whether to do so or not, do it.
I just hope they pace the drama properly like everyone else is worrying about bc the novel is packed
Waiting now...2027 is going to be SO good

Title Overdo
I have question why in cdramas theyre always saying “i like u” why not “i love u” here its samee i really…
it only translates to 'i like you' directly but when actually saying it its meaning is basically equal to 'i love you'. because actually saying i love you (wo ai ni) is lowkey kinda weird to hear...its kind of as weird as saying, idk, like 'i adore you' in english to confess ur love and to just say to your partner on a regular basis like....nobody really uses it in that way. also chinese people don't show their affection through words that much compared to the western world so when saying 'i like you' it means more, you know?

Replies under your post show that “ common sense is not common”
I am mortified at my own stupidity and am hereby apologizing profusely, I must have been out of my mind as normally I promise I am not like this 💀
(btw if you're trying to look for the comment itself I have deleted it to save what is left of my face)
