Started off average but got better later

Well parallel universe+slow burn is just not my type. I like some spice, some drama, some romance with a dash of pain etc😆. But this drama talks more about his anxiety problems, parallel universe and communication skills for the 1st few eps. I know its slow burn but i felt the story pace was also slow

Anyways lets go episode by episode
Ep1: damn it was dark (not story but the lighting 🤭) i barely could see anything. To top that i was kinda confused idk if it was just me though. The whole ep was just about kano and his struggles
Ep2: kano moves to parallel universe and the difference between both.. still barely any hint of romance
Ep3: Now we see some light spark of jealousy and from what i see Ookami has the potential to become a little devil🤭🤭 but i read spoilers that he would return to real world in ep 5 so i think that will happen.
Ep4: I will stop spoiling here cz it got better starting this episode. The pacing issue is fixed and the plot has become more interesting and we're seeing more focus on romance along with kano's problems

I feel the drama would do much better with proper pacing and more episode cz rn what i see is there are lot of scenes talking about kano and his problems than kano x ookami... their story is like going on the sidelines. Well I'm gonna finish it anyways cz its not bad but I'd not re-watch it

Change of opinion after ep 5: i invalidate the above paragraph 🤭🤭 I'll probably rewatch this one and yes kano and ookami plot gets its attention so YAY!!! WATCH IT. LITERALLY DON'T JUST SKIP IT CZ OF THE INITIAL EPISODES

Hehe the ending was perfect. Damn never expected ogami to turn bad boy once he got kano's consent 🤭🤭

Had potential but poorly executed

I'm not gonna lie when i read "kamol has some special needs" and saw the poster i thought he was a werewolf and would end up hurting his partners didn't expect the special needs to be something else. Took me a while to get that he was into SM. I feel other than the extremely slow pacing they also messed up in the casting. Cz kamol/Yoon doesn't give "ruthless mafia in his early 30s"🙃. He's a good actor no doubt but this role was not for him. As for Ton/Kim i felt his acting was kinda flat he did a better job in 4everyou. Something about hin just felt off. I felt like i barely remember his character even if he's the main lead.

I'd say if you've not watched the drama and don't wanna skip it just watch the episode recap and you'll be good. Cz i think next prince, kinnporche although we're of a different genre did a better job in SM compared to this one. Here the main plot was the special needs which was horribly executed with weird angles and random blurs and they topped that with slow pace n mafia drama which i had 0 interest in🙃 and a crazy woman who's in love with a gay guy. It's okay but not worth it.

I liked the sequel but i find this boring and draggy

I've watched 6 episodes and I've put this drama on hold 5 times🙃. I tried my best to complete it but i just can't without feeling sleepy. The plot is too simple for it to be 17 episode drama. 90% of the plot ended in ep 1 and 2 and starting episode 3 it's just fluff🙃 them flirting with each other and nothing is really going on. Yeah there's the past life flashback but that's not worth 17 episodes of pure boredom. I had high expectations from this one cz of the hype. Everyone talked about how heart breaking it was and how interesting it was but the only heartbreak i felt was in episode 1. It could be cz i watched the sequel 1st but i can't do it anymore so I'm dropping it.

It's bad but interesting... keeps you hooked

Episode 1 will absolutely confuse you. The drama is fine. The problem is the story telling and them only having 5 mins to explain a pretty thick plot.

The story starts with Gui dreaming about his childhood friend and probably his first crush Shi proposing to him and then along with this dream he dreams of their first night in the parallel world. So this will kinda confuse. Gui's hair is the savior of this series. It kinda helps understand the plot but you'll take time to get there😆

After that "prophetic" dream Shi actually shows up at his door. Apparently Gui ran away from home after he graduated to work as a gamer but things are not going well. His mom coincidentally meets Shi who is now a doctor and is looking for a place to stay in this city and asks him to stay with her son and help him get a job. That's how they end up living together after being separated for 10 years. Shi kinda does try to convince Gui to get a job but that upsets Gui and to top that his gaming career is not going well. So he kinda goes to sleep upset and ends up waking up in an omegaverse world where he gets to know he's an omega married to his ex best friend Shi who is an alpha and might be pregnant with his child. He undergoes all these tests and once it's confirmed that he was pregnant he tries to get out of this world and passes out and comes back to the OG world. Where his friend Shi is taking him to the hospital cz he was claiming to be pregnant with his child😆😆.

Now they abruptly cut to the omega Gui's pov who is forced arranged married to the alpha and ends up getting pregnant just by sleeping with him once. They just show the scenes where he wakes up and some day to day activities like eating and stuff. Where the alpha is definitely not interested in the omega but the omega is kinda enduring it but is also pissed with him. Then he starts feeling that he's getting tired easily so he takes a pregnancy test and it comes out as positive. He decides to get an abortion but then he informs the alpha just in case and goes to bed (that's when he switches bodies with Gui).

This is the summary of 6 episodes the last 2 are yet to be uploaded

This is a thick plot drama with a lot of switching. It needs very good story telling and also time. That's the part this falls short.

I just can't explain how good this drama is

This drama just got better the more i watched it. The 1st half is kinda more focused on Da On and Tae Kyung and the 2nd half is more focused on Shin Wu and Tae Kyung. This was something new i saw in a drama where the drama is split equally sharing both the lead's story.

I think i pretty much treasured all the characters except Da On and So Hee. So Hee for obvious reasons. She was straight up annoying and Da On cz of his bad decisions if not for his friends the situation could have been way worse. But I'm happy both of them changed and learnt their lesson by the end.

I feel Tae Kyung did thing right thing by choosing shin wu (spoiled myself). No matter how rude he was to TK he was his true self and Da On was well🙃. I loved how they showed 2 guys who were in the same situation deal with love. Both DO and SW were victims of homophobia. SW was someone who stood his ground and even when his friends were bullying him his priority was to protect TK. While TK did the opposite he went into hiding instead. Never worried about TK and ghosted him on top of that. It's never a good choice to go for someone who's nice to everyone like DO. also for the 1st time in a drama i didn't see the typical 2 leads fighting for 1 guy and gives up when 1 of them start dating. Here we saw SW backing off the moment he realized TK liked DO. He tried his best to make his love get his love eventhough it'd mean he wouldn't get his love. Everytime he comforted TK and pushed DO to make a move my heart broke for him. He deserved TK's love. Also i felt TK was more carefree with SW than DO you could see him teasing SW, having fun, happy, sad and angry with him but with DO he was more worried about DO to show all these emotions. I really liked how SW became more expressive by the end of the drama. Damn he was soo cute🥺.

Also we cant forget our cutie Si Un. I love how he was cute, caring, cunning and fun all at the same time. I feel his character which although looked simple was the most complex one. He was the kinda friend who was there for them during their lows. Love how he didn't push any of them to do anything instead just let them make a decision and helped them with it. It was never "go confess ur love or wrongdoings" it was always "don't regret not confessing ur love or wrongdoings". If i were to be in the student council he'd be my choice. I kinda did ship him with so hee for a while cz i felt they had good chemistry but that ship didnt sail.

I feel this drama was made for a season 2 but never had one cz they showed the teacher meet a guy but we didn't get any context about him. Also Si Un giving love advice he got from the teacher. Who did he love and not confess that he regreted? My guess is he likes So Hee but never confessed cz he liked DO. He definitely has a sad back story which we didn't get. My guess is this drama probably has 2 or 3 more seasons. 1 with the teacher's love story, 2nd with Da On finding his love, 3rd Si Un and So Hee love story.

Overall watch it guys it's a really unique and entertaining high-school BL..its gonna keep u hooked. Watch it or you'll regret it. It was soo good that i just realised the drama barely had a kiss scene😆 it had 1 at the end of the last episode.

Here for TodTime

I've not watched the orginal dating show but after watching the edits i really loved TodTime pairing. I feel the dating show was to promote all this pairs so i won't watch it. They should have just done it like DMD friendship instead of promoting it as a dating show.

Anyways coming to this show it's purely fanservice with barely any script, weird camera angles and awkward writing. Although i do like TodTime i feel both need to work on their acting. It felt too forced sometimes little is more. The makeup and the cuts are horrible too. So I'll rate it a 5 you should just watch it for your favorite pair. This show doesn't have any wow factor

Love them!!! Pretty inline with the novel

I never expected I'd love ArthitDao soo much cz JohanNorth and FahPhoon are my favs but after i read the novel i just couldn't stop myself from watching the drama and damn expecting the last episode they were pretty inline with the novel and made me cry a couple of times.

Like when Arthit gets to know his mom is no more or when Dao feels Arthit's sadness and cries for someone for the 1st time.

I also really liked DoMeen's story although i felt soo bad for them and cried a lot when Do left❤️.

Overall i really loved it but the only thing that I'm kinda sad about is they didn't show Dao's back story especially the one where he burns his bully for trying to r*pe him. That was kinda the reason Dao is Dao n the reason the ex had that bet in the 1st place and everything happened so that was kinda the core scene that was absent. Also the casting for Dao's dad who was supposed to be a tall muscular white man like the inspector from "heart killers". It bothered me till the end😆😆 cz i didn't think he was hot enough for Arthit to doubt Dao.

Anyways its good i give it a 9.5 cz of the minor flaws

My favorite couple in the fourever series

I watched 1st 2 episodes of ths drama and later i read the novel cz i was too curious about their story. I think until episode 6 they were pretty inline with the novel but they changed the story a bit in ep 7 and 8. I would say the novel was much better but this was really good too. It did justice to the novel. I really loved both Phoon and Fah. Crave for a gang like Phoon's 🥺. Love the supportive bestie. But I'd have liked it even more if they chose the novel ending for the dad (they made it kinda legal here) n also i wanted to see the whole gang going to japan with phoon to meet his mom and the funny interaction between north and Phoon's brother. But for an 8 episode adaptation they did really well. I also liked that they clearly separated all the stories like P10L unlike fourever season 1 where they mixed both the stories. This makes it easier to watch and i prefer it this way

Could have been the best suspense drama this year but failed cz of bad writing. It's ok not the best

Okay this drama really had soo much potential just with the plot twist i can say there were issues with the execution. It's good but could have been exceptional. The person who wrote this drama definitely doesn't have experience or has little experience working with this genre or is really bad at it.

The drama has really good and unexpected plot twists. I never expected her to be the killer🙃. There were 0 hints but my guess about BP not being the real son was right but i thought real BP and TP died together🙃 idk how i missed that.

It also has some gaps in the story which i feel the novel would have explained. I just don't understand TT's (fake BP) father Thun like how did he let his son get hypnotized n live like that🙄. Also TT is a nice kid so i think he'd have agreed to pretend to be BP to save the mom's life if they just told him the truth.

That random ass singing made me laugh. Like what the hell was the director or writer thinking. Atleast add a backstory to that song like it comforts him or it's their thing. There's a sad scene and suddenly they start singing😆. The story is such a gem the screenwriter and director fucked up lol.

Its a 10 episode drama so it could be like
Ep 1 - BP gets this random diary from his BF and when he goes to investigate it he gets framed for a murder
Ep 2 - His BF gets him out of the case (showing subtle hints that TK was faking it ), past reminiscence and relationship deepening
Ep 3 - falling in love reveal that TB is TK
Ep 4 - betrayal and guilt for loving his dead BF's brother (ik he doesn't remember his BF but just the thought is kinda disgusting. Ur BF's brother took advantage of ur amnesia and got intimate with u that's not normal)
Ep 5 - conversation and coming in terms deciding to start fresh
Ep 6 - falling in love again, suspecting something is weird about BP's memories and actions once he is in contact with his family
Ep 7 - informing BP about this suspension and BP looking into it
Ep 8 - reveal that BP's family killed TP and BP feeling guilty TK comforting
Ep 9 - serial killer reveal, truth behind BP memory loss reveal
Ep 10 - truth behind TP death reveal and happy ending

They should have done this instead of those filler episodes in the middle. They should have added more emotional depth to the drama and it'd be just. It did get better in the last 2 episodes but i it's hard to finish the middle🤌🤌🤌🤌

Hmm not as good as the webtoon but not bad i guess

I feel they messed up in the casting stage. Ping is fine but for the gangster it was supposed to be someone with a more mature and adult vibe cz if i remember the webtoon did have age gap. Also i didn't like how they changed the game friend's personalities and gave korean references while they're in thailand. Like why are they drinking soju in thai? And who eats spicy ramen for hangover? They kept very little from the webtoon is what i felt after 1st 2 eps... the gangster didn't give gangster vibes n ping's acting was kinda awkward at times....

I'm a webtoon fan and i am watching this cz it's an adaptation so yeah not that good adaptation but not bad either if u skip it ur not missing out. If you're expecting mafia romance vibes this is not it

More about SOTUS and engineering life than romance

I was asked to watch this drama by a lot of BL fans. They were like this is the OG BL and a lot of the existing BL troupes come from this etc. and that I'd regret not watching it. So i decided to give it a go. I personally think it's an average drama which is kinda confusing at times probably cz it's old and depicts people's mindset from back in those days. Like Arthit is clearly ragging but then people are praising him in the name of team building. I was expecting more of an enemies to lovers troupe where Arthit is the bully and khongphob stands against him but thats not the case KP is just praising him. They leaned more towards SOTUS being good probably cz back then it was not banned.

I'm in the ep 8 rn I've already dropped it twice i am gonna force myself to finish it but i most probably won't watch the sequel. I am a big fan of Krist from mint to be and ex morning but after watching those this one doesn't match that level for me.

The 1st 6 or 7 episodes were only about SOTUS and it's activities. Barely any progress in any couple's story. Frankly i dont get when and why any of them fell for each other. I didn't understand any of the characters either. Not arthit nor KP, like when did Arthit fall for him and I'm pretty sure KP hated Arthit but then suddenly he's in love with him🙃. Ahhhh idk i might probably be dumb but i don't understand the drama. I continue to watch cz i wanna know whats soo amazing about this drama but i see nothing so far.

The unique thing about this show is that it feels very natural and realistic, you can see a lot of BL and GL actors who are popular rn in 1 frame, there's a mix of gay, straight and lesbian people (usually u rarely see straight couples in BLs), it's different but not for me. I prefer some drama and some romance. I dont mind if there are no kiss or NC scenes at all but I'd like to see the process of 2 people falling for each other.

An effort to cover up the bad plot with NCs. No amount of dmd actors can save this one.

I didn't have much expectations from this cz the trailer itself didn't seem wow and it had tutoryim in it. Knowing their previous records i think BOW was their best series which was average and i had to force myself to finish it. Not gonna do that again i am dropping this one😅😅 i shouldn't hv doubted the comments and tried it out. They're not lying.

- When the episode started i thought Yim had this badass character compared to the nerd character we usually see but then once he met tutor that changed🙄 he went back to his usual.
- the ex's punch is barely visible. Who the hell did the makeup😆 i was looking for the bruise for a while
- the entire meeting between the 2 feels odd and weird not like fated or anything barely any spark
- when the hell did tutor even fall for yim? Like i didn't see it not even in that weird fight they had when they met
- yim's character was supposed to be someone hurt by his ex but it looked like he didn't care at all he's hooking up the day after breakup🙄 n with a stranger who he told can't be his fated partner
- Tutor looks rich??? Bro looks like a broke teacher or writer. The styling is off or confusing i am not sure.
- the background noises were overused like every 2 sec there's a ting

Overall there's nothing i liked felt like they just used NC n some dirty slangs to cover up the terrible plot. Even the next episode preview served nothing. I thought I'd watch it cz i saw badass yim and jimmyohm but no this is pure torture😅. Someone needs to get them better stories. I wasted an hour with this.

It's good not the best. Too stressful for me

I've watched 3 episodes. Ngl the 1st 2 episodes already made me wanna drop it. I felt the repetitive time loop was kinda annoying and unnecessary. They could have ended it with a dialog like "I've kept doing this over and over again x times already but he dies everytime what am i doing wrong?" also Jinta's involvement kinda didn't add much to the entire plot i feel he should have showed up a bit later instead. Everytime he showed up on the screen i was like why are u here if you're not gonna add to the plot. The drama is more on the serious side with near to nil comical relief which can give u a headache like literally.

From what i see i know the plot is gonna be interesting. I assume this entire timeloop is not just to save Tol's life but to also solve the organ trafficking case. I am guessing Rit's kidney went to Mai's mom. As for why Tin got stuck in the loop it's probably cz his sister's death was not a normal death either?

I'd have preferred just 1 long loop where Tin tried to stop Tit's death instead of multiple small loops. Like we see in reset, marry my husband and other series (i know this is not a loop but time travel) but still. I don't think this is for me. Let's see if i wanna ever pick it up. I am here cz of Tee's new series thought I'd watch this in the meantime while that airs cz people kept calling thiss an underrated gem. Ngl Tee's acting here is much better than the new series but this series is just not my type. I like something relaxing or something with a bit of comic relief.

The most unique BL I've ever watched.

When i 1st started the drama i was like okay just another childhood sweethearts who broke apart after one fell for another kinda BL. I was wrong. It just nothing close to JUST ANOTHER.

Let's start with the casting. This is probably the best casting I've even seen in a BL especially for the younger version. They look the same and act the same as the older version of them. I literally had to check if they used graphics to reduce the actors age😅

They used literal 15 year olds for highschool version of them. This was totally new although it did make me uncomfortable at times but i like that they've changed the script from the manga and made it a bit more appropriate.

Although i saw the poster and was sure Ren was the uke when i watched the drama i had doubts. I've seen golden retriever semes but here it was different. The uke was smart, successful and protecting his seme which we usually see seme doing and the seme was more on the conservative shy kinda side. Even the way they sat made me doubt myself. The best part was how they didn't show this in a over the top way and made it seem more natural.

The misunderstanding where the entire misunderstanding actually made sense. Usually I'd be like if they talked this wouldn't have happened but here it was like a solid misunderstanding. Kazuma telling Ren he liked girls. Ren being gay and feeling hurt trying to get over it. Kazuma asking him to sleep with him and ren misunderstanding he did that cz he was kind n didnt want his friend to go the wrong way. Ren feeling guilty for what he did to kazuma and nearly causing his love's death. There's no other way the plot could have progressed.

The only flaw i could see was the awkwardness between the actors during hugs and NC scenes they kinda maintained a distance. Overall in the other areas their acting was impeccable and the drama was good.

You’ll like it if you're into serious series not for people who are more into romance

I watched this series because i saw lot of edits on rebirth of gods who loved each other. Frankly i expected this to be more focused on the romance between the leads. I am someone who doesn't like a lot of actions or a serious plot and this drama is exactly that. It focuses more on the gods, their powers, loads of historical and mythological references. It's a smart plot but just not my cup of tea. As for the acting the comment section is definitely lieing. The actors have genuinely done justice to the role. They've done way better than a lot of debut actors (if u notice it's Ongsa's debut). I've watched a lot of famous actor's bl debuts they usually look stiff and uncomfortable but here both of them looked natural. Yes i did find Thaki's acting a little weird he had a hard time potraying sorrow and anger. But overall if you're more into serious dramas and are here for a high IQ drama this is for you cz the show is very informative.

Edit: dropping it after watching spoilers. IT WAS A BLOODY OPEN ENDING?? WHY?? They could have given a normal happy ending cz they already suffered in the 1st life. AHHHHHHHHH unless there's a special episode I'm not picking this up
