Probably one of the best cbl I've ever watched. Even better than ABO & RL

ABO & RL are totally different genre from this. You can consider those more on the lighter side. Here the plot is thick. The acting is on another level. Yun Qi aka fan has done a damn good job for his debut drama. Hao yi ran aka yao has done a phenomenal job with his role. You know an actor has done a good job when he can make u sad or cry or feel every emotion his character feels. That's exactly what he's done in episode 8 and the reason i thought i should review this now!!

Initially the drama started pretty light. Just a manipulative seme trying to trick the uke into love cz he thinks the uke sees the world a certain way that's not as dark his view of the world. It was pretty fun kinda gave ABO vibes till episode 6... but episode 7 onwards when yao started realising what fan had done and him being in denial trying to deny his love could ever do such a thing to him. Those subtle sadness he shows their interactions even after they makeup🤌🤌🤌 chef's kiss.. u could see him hurting even if he smiled.

He nailed it in the 8th episode where eventhough he realised his love had done that he tried to stay strong tried to deny it one last time and went into the room and said "lust blinds judgement. I lied to myself and others" as he looked at the messed up bed. Kinda trying to deny love trying to make himself believe that it was just lust hoping to feel better from it. He hit the final nail when he came out and revealed to fan what he found. Damn the way he cried asking him what did he ever do to deserve this (literally nothing) and to do 1 last favor by not showing his face to him this life and that he would consider this last year a nightmare 😭😭😭😭😭 yao was never someone who could fall in love and open up completely to someone. But he did that for fan. Just that morning he asks his mom if fan was the man who would make him believe the world is a better place but fan broke everything. For yao he didnt just lose his lover, he lost his faith in people, his ability to trust people, his everything. That's how heavy this drama is and the actor has done absolute justice to the role❤️❤️❤️

Also this one had the best redemption arc ive ever seen in a BL. I was wondering what Fan would do. Frankly i was surprised. He fixed every mistake he ever did. Fixed Yao made him even better than before. Gave him the family he longed for... and the ending was just beautiful 🤌❤️

ONE OF THE BEST KBL I'VE EVER WATCHED!!!!!!

I'm 4 episodes in. Couldn't stop myself from watching it on air🤭. The drama is soo good it made my heart flutter and also made me cry🥺🥺. Usually KBLs are either filled with awkward acting, lot of pauses and rushed story line. But that was not the case here the pacing was right, the actors were not awkward and there were no long empty pauses. I'd say this one was as good as "My bias is showing!?" & "semantic error"❤️.

Another good thing about this bl is that they didn't turn it into "i like you cz you're my brother." This is probably the 1st incest I'm not dropping cz usually when it's stepbrother or cousins troup it's like one likes the other and forces them into a relationship like we saw in "HIStory 4". But here they're cousins who definitely didn't grow up together. They did meet occasionally but all they had was friendship not like you treat him as a brother all your life and have romantic feelings for him.

Damn Il joo deserves happiness. He's suffered soo much in life and now he's suffering in love too. Jeong Han is well... i can't say he's a red flag he's more like a yellow flag. He's loved Il joo but doesn’t wanna accept it other than that he's a nice guy who cares for him. Also we can't forget the visuals both leads are soo damn handsome. Like every scene they're literally shinning 🤭🤭. Overall i think you should give it a go it's a fun watch if you ignore the cousins part... which is what I'm doing😆😆

Edit: okay he's moved from yellow flag to green flag era so 🤭🤭 extra satisfied. Damn and the NC scenes are quite on par with thai bl... kbl and cbl are literally raising their bars🤌🤌 also i like that il joo is not just a weak guy. He even "rejected" jonghan... yes he does get beaten up a lot but atleast he's got a personality ✨️✨️ but yeah last 2 eps i felt there were gaps like why was iljo away from Jung before he went to the airport? N why was he even worried about the photos? I guess I'll get a clear picture when i read the webtoon so I'll give it a 9

I'm speechless... it was just too good

I was halfway through the movie when i read spoilers saying it was a sad ending. I was like "shit if i knew i wouldn't have watched" but then thank god i watched. It was beautiful. Started with a playful banter then made me cry ugly and the ending couldn't wipe the smile off my face...
Now i get others when they said it was not a happy or sad or even open ending but a perfect ending. Especially when the manga is ongoing they've not stepped in and created an ending. I do hope Shiguki wins before he retires.. cz he is the most relatable character to me cz I'm exactly like him. I'd work hard even if it'd kill me and go by the rules. I can reject the person i love if i feel I'd love him too much and there's a chance that I'd get hurt. Everything he did was soo relatable. Like how he never gets his love cz he's perfect...

As for Suzuki he was gorgeous and seemed like a real professional dancer the whole movie... i could feel his playful side and the reason both of them fell for each other..

As for the ending i guess we'll have to wait for the manga to end to know what happens... i think it'll be a happy ending manga❤️

Soo much potential went downhill mid series.. i barely stopped myself from dropping this one

Ok had to review this one while it's ongoing. It's good. I started watching this because it had a unique plot. Romance between a "ex-porn star" and a university perfect guy. Being Tae's 1st drama as a lead he's done an amazing job potraying ice. Yes he still looks a bit stiff during the NC scenes but not like their chemistry sucks. I hope to see more dramas of them together. I've usually seen tae do happy go lucky characters so this one was something new i saw in him. I think he'd do well in sweet innocent kinda characters too🤭🤭 cz his doe eyes is really adorable. Especially in the lollipop scene in ep 8.

As for Ja we all know no one can beat him when it comes to green flag characters he's done a good job as saint. But i think he has potential in toxic characters too. Saying this cz he did well as Kit (the character he plays in the short movie) we gotta see him play 1 toxic character. He was really good.

Overall the story is really good it shows how SA victims think and the problems they face really well but yes there are scenes where it was kinda confusing like cut off but then they do explain why it happens but then you might feel weird till the explanation comes in. Like saint ignoring ice and also flirting with him at the same time cz of the father's spy. I was like whats the point of ignoring ice if you're gonna flirt with him infront of the spy😆😆 The actors are good but overtime especially after ep 8 the director and screen writer has messed up and it's like you get the story but you feel it could be done better.

And yes our 2nd couple kinda dumb but kinda cute pair🤭🤭 I'm loving their story too.

Ok I'm at ep 10. After ice and warm's breakup the story gets dragged. This should have been a 10 ep drama but it's 13 so they're just dragging it to the end to fix the father problem.

Finished the drama. Skipped till the end🙃... there was nothing much going on anyways so.

Overall watch it. If u liked fortpeat in love in the air. This is similar probably a bit intense than their story at times but then it kinda goes downhill after a point, u won't regret it not watching it and if u do u gotta skip a lot after WarmIce breakup.

Entertaining but morally wrong

I had initially put this drama on hold cz i was too influenced by the comments now I've restarted n here's what i feel. Both the actors are similar to BossNoeul look wise so i was like I've seen this somewhere. Even the characters are similar to "love in the air" except here both are kinda red flags.

Nuea falls for the groom who's wedding he's planning (okay i can digest this), gets kissed by him (not his fault), then proceeds to do the same multiple times even sleeps with someone who is getting married even if its fake he didn't know it so he technically was an affair.

As for Lom🙃 he doesn't tell nuea the truth he had soo many chances. Even his fiancée had told his lover i don't get why. He knows nuea is struggling but still kept him as an affair and from what i see if his mom didn’t ask him to live with her even after marriage he planned on having a lavender marriage with yiwa and keep nuea as his side piece🙃🙃. I don’t mind the lavender marriage if he would have told nuea before he got physical with him but... he did it wayyyyy after so i found that problematic

My fav pair of all was probably SunRyu i liked their story arc the whole university romance and working in the orchard for his and his family's approval🤌🤌🤌 that's soo sweet

So yeah it's a fun watch but i definitely don't like the characters especially the whole fake marriage part. If u have nothing to watch then watch this u won't regret it but if u have something else dont bother

Why soo short??????

Watched if cz of an insta reel but damn it was good for a short drama. Probaby really good. Would've been great if it was longer. The actors had great chemistry like really great. I've never seen this in CBL. The story was predictable but i loved it🤭🤭. The biggest plot twist was probably Xiao being the top cz i was like this would be like RL where the uke thinks he could be the top but then gets a reality check but then nope Rong was the bottom. I was like damn. Overall it was a nice watch. Haha watch it u won't regret. As for why 9 not 10 it's just it was soo short😅😅

Potential lost cz of poor plot

I watched this show after watching the reel where the main couple 1st meet. Mint is getting bullied and knight kinda protects him.. so i was expecting something really fun to watch like probably a very cunning top and innocent bottom or a love hate relationship like ArcArm had in perfect 10 liners. I start with this drama and yes it seemed fine for like 1 or 2 episodes not that great not that bad. Then they reveal that the reason mild's brother doesn’t approve of knight is cz he 🍇ed mild while he was drunk and during this conversation they kinda show a flashback of the incident and mild is kinda traumatized. So what would you expect? Especially when the topic is so sensitive. You'd expect them to reveal the culprit or a really big redemption arc correct? (I did find it wierd that mild was not affected by it the whole time until the brother brought it up like he didn't show any kind of rejection or fear towards anyone but we can ignore that)....
Well so what do they do?? They just change the whole plot to that being a whole misunderstanding and that never happened 🙄 (then what's with the flashback and mild being traumatized?). Like they just dump that down the trash. Knight says its a misunderstanding and they run away for a private honeymoon WTF🙃🙃🙃
THE ONLY REDEEMING THING ABOUT THIS SHOW WAS THE 2ND COUPLE BUT EVEN THEIR STORY WAS SOO DRAGGY. I had to skip soo much to complete this thing. It was really bad the 1 star is just for the cast and the 2nd couple everything else was pure BS. I've watched soo many bls but this is the 1st one i absolutely hated. Not 1 thing i liked about this drama

Not bad but not great short drama

The drama is about this guy who judges people based on their sign and that's the whole plot. There's close to nothing except they meet and fall in love. I literally watched the drama for 1 cute drunk scene🤭. There's literally nothing more to say about this except it's an average story but atleast the actors did a good job. It didn't have the usual awkward acting we see in short dramas.

The number of times I've rewatched this is unhealthy ?

I really love this BL. for the 1st time i love both couples a lot and equally. 6 eps per couple was perfect. Their story didn't feel draggy or too fast paced it was just right... sadly their next projects didn't live up to this but till i liked "love sea" too... I'm trying to watch "boys next world" but it's kinda confusing.

Coming back, i liked payu's cunning nature and rain's innocence damn they're soo cute together 🤭🤭 loved all that teasing. As for sky and prai😭😭😭 damn never expected it to be soo good. I've never seen a drama that showed and handled trauma this well... ive watched soo many bls but none lived up to this in that area❤️

Beautiful but pure angst

I started watching this cz of how beautiful the cast were. All pearl, peak and perth are just gorgeous and i only saw some funny clips on this series so i was like lets watch it what could go wrong?

I've cried all 12 episodes. It got to the point that i had to drop it for a while in the middle and pick it back up cz it was soo overwhelming and when i picked it up i made sure i skip. It was just too heavy. I felt this series needed some comedy elements even if it's a serious drama. That way it wouldn't be as heavy as it was.

It's the kind of drama where you'd just feel bad for everyone including the villains.. i cried for the villains thats how good it was

There's like 2% comedy 10% romance 88% angst and you dont get a break from the angst either it just goes on for like 2 or 3 eps till u get 1 tiny scene where u can breath. Should u watch it? Yes if u don't mind crying and like dramas that are sad with happy ending.

Will i re-watch it ever again? NO! NEVER

A simple romance... i kinda expected a bit of drama tho

It was as simple as a straight line. The story had no ups or downs just a simple straight line.. when i saw ep 1 especially Amane's FWB i thought it'd be something like "Therapy Love" but nope. All the foreshadowing lead nowhere.

But the lead were really cute and adorable to look at. The drama was an eye candy. Just a little too undramatic for me... i personally prefer dramas which show the whole process of them falling in love with each other and getting a happy ending. Probably cz this one was a short drama? That didn't happen here. All of this was just 1 episode in the end. The remaining 4 it was more of friendship i guess...

Yeah it was good. Should you watch it? Yes. Would i re-watch it? No.

It's better than the drama not sure why it is rated so low

I liked this one more than the drama. Given that this was made a decade ago, the questionable scenes make sense. If i watched this 1st I'd probably hate the drama version of it.

Here gii was a total green flag. He didn't touch takumi or force or gaslight him into sex. Instead he treasured and respected him the whole time. Also they didn't make takumi's brother into an angel and showed that takumi hated his brother but kept quite cz he never expected someone soo close to do that to him. He didn't forgive his brother but just learnt to move on from the past.

If u watch this I'd suggest u dont watch the series.

Cliché and short

This one had potential but it was too short. I liked the cliché plot but I'd prefer it in a longer format.

You can barely hear any dialogs cz the background music is way too loud. The acting, cast and visuals were good. I get the idea but it didn't feel like a series more like a long ad. The whole series is 11 mins so i guess u get the idea.

Not good not bad kinda above average i guess

The drama was above average. There was something about it that just felt off. Then i realised that every 2 or 3 chapters the plot just goes in a circle.

Tomiya has a problem. Mamiya motivates toma. Toma achieves something. Mamiya becomes insecure and they fight or ghost. Toma does something for mamiya secretly. Somehow mamiya gets to know and then he feels he's wrong and then apology and makeup. This goes on from the start till the end.

Also tomiya's bad boy persona just vanished after ep 2 he became this green flag who is always there for his lover n stopped teasing him too... as for mamiya his character was not consistent at all. Like he had mood swings every now and then.

It's a good watch if u have nothing to watch then pick this up u won't be impressed or disappointed

Didn’t like it. "Happy" ending but nah

I don't think Jiang would change even after Rui started dating him. The story lacked emotional depth they kinda just said he's a playboy and the reason is cz he has mental health issues. That's exactly how it was put out. Probably cz it was short?

Also the BTS for last ep was in ep 3🙄🙄. The actors were good but i felt they did it for the sake of it. Overall disappointing cz i came here after watching edits on it which were funny n this was meh
