I'm speechless... it was just too good
I was halfway through the movie when i read spoilers saying it was a sad ending. I was like "shit if i knew i wouldn't have watched" but then thank god i watched. It was beautiful. Started with a playful banter then made me cry ugly and the ending couldn't wipe the smile off my face...Now i get others when they said it was not a happy or sad or even open ending but a perfect ending. Especially when the manga is ongoing they've not stepped in and created an ending. I do hope Shiguki wins before he retires.. cz he is the most relatable character to me cz I'm exactly like him. I'd work hard even if it'd kill me and go by the rules. I can reject the person i love if i feel I'd love him too much and there's a chance that I'd get hurt. Everything he did was soo relatable. Like how he never gets his love cz he's perfect...
As for Suzuki he was gorgeous and seemed like a real professional dancer the whole movie... i could feel his playful side and the reason both of them fell for each other..
As for the ending i guess we'll have to wait for the manga to end to know what happens... i think it'll be a happy ending manga❤️

The more I watched it the worse it got
The story was literally all over the place. They had too much to cover for a 1hr series.Initially it was okay, kinda cute but then after 2 or 3 episodes it just landed flat on the ground. They had this
- grim reaper track going
- love triange going
- the name issue going
- the brother's death track
- and the fallen grim reaper track all going simultaneously.
In the end nothing was finished properly. They had these random kisses. Idk when the hell did both the leads fall for Ji Han. Nor do I know what they know about Jae Hyeon. Overall it was just a mess. Kinda disappointed

Glorified cheating
If you're watching this series I'm guessing the accidental kiss is what got you in. Although the acting was pretty mid i had rated this a 6 for the 1st 2 episodes until the Top's boyfriend showed up. At first i thought the bf should be the issue but nah apparently the top was dating a guy already when the bottom accidentally mistook him for his ex and kissed him. It didn't end there the top goes on and flirts with the bottom🙃🙃 until his boyfriend shows up then when the bottom leaves him after knowing hes in a relationship he goes to the bottom's house and sleeps with him like wtf🙃. P.S the bottom and the top's bf are friends and they still decide to cheat behind his back. When the bf gets to know they breakup and theres no apology eitherBoth the leads are bloody villains. I feel this was a rage bait ngl. Its not worth it

My 1st non rom com drama. Surprisingly loved it
The drama was an absolute stress buster with nothing that'd stress you out. It's something you can watch to relax during a stressful day. The story was pretty good, kinda like a game where you're waiting for the next level to see what new elements have been added. From what I see I am guessing this will have a sequel in future.I really liked Kang Song Jae.. but Yun Dong Hyeon just stole my heart since ep 1. Eventhough he looked big and scary. He's always been the protector both in case of Song Jae and Gwan Cheol (the bratty one). I loved his character a lot. The blend of softness with roughness was done really good. I am really curious how his life wa s after the military? Was his gf cheating on him? (Cz i sus that)? Will he meet this gang again? What his job would be? Etc.
Coming to the reason I dropped the rating was cz I felt some pieces were missing. Like the office mess chef's star. We never got to see that. Also the reason behind this whole game thing. Why did it start in the 1st place. Sometimes their reactions to the food was not something I was much interested in although it was fun the 1st few times later i skipped that part😂😂. The summary said this was about the secret behind the father's death..but there was nothing in the series that showed this so it's an 8.5 for me. It's a good watch

Started off good but got boring overtime
I started this drama cz i heard gangster x cafe owner🤭 and also cz of FirstKhaotung. Loved episode 1 soo much i put it on hold to binge watch but then i couldn't control myself so watching on air again. It did get a little boring in episode 2 but then it got better. Personally i feel this series would make a much better webtoon than a series cz cats play a important role here. Usually in the animal movies I've watched they add expressions and mouth movement to the animals which is not the case here so that felt kinda weird for me. What they've done is not bad just that it's not what I'm used to. Another thing that's kinda new here is the Lynx is literally a cat in human form not a guy who looks like a cat. The way Khao stands, turns everything is pretty much cat like also the change in scent when in love. That's something new.I think ep 2 is the only boring episode so far the rest of the episodes are soo damn cute❤️❤️. I think this is the 1st time firstkhao are not lying or hiding things from each other in a drama😆. Ahem can i say i am shipping Doc. Pom and Leo. Ik that won't come true cz both have their partners🤭 guess it's a ghost ship for now. They're both soo adorable when they're jealous haha i love it!!
Edit: that was my opinion around ep 5 but the show went downhill after they got together. It was boring and draggy just pure fluff and it had nothing that made me want more. I forced myself to finish it.
- When i hear mafia/debt collector i expect some push and pull like we see in other dramas which was absent here
- Lynx's original career kinda got sidelined in the show. I was expecting a bit more clarity on that side. I really dont feel lynx liked the cats enough to choose them as a career.
- the entire show felt repetitive overtime. There was no spice no twist no nothing it was as flat as it could be.
I feel it would be an ok watch if you like pure fluff no story or if u watched it on air but binging it would be hard

That was soo damn sad?? those comments were lying
I thought it was a cute, sweet romance but i was wrong. I've watched 3 other dramas from "secret of us" and i think this one was the best. Yes it had flaws. Like they should have hinted the audience that Lei Zexin was at the guesthouse with a motive. That would have kept the audience more curious and engaged instead of confused in ep 5.I cried ugly in ep 6😭😭. I know it was kinda an open ending but Zexin insisted on natural death than operation. Knowing him he wouldn't choose operation just for Amur. So there's more chances that he died than got the operation and even if he did the doctor said it was risky so that was a bloody sad ending for me.
The acting, the visuals, the story🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌 just soo good. The narration could improve but overall it was a good watch

A perfect example for don't judge a book by it's cover
I never planned on watching this one cz i thought the actors were not handsome enough. I remember skipping them in "we are" too but then the reviews and edits said that this was a really good one so i gave it a go.Yes i loved it🤭. The story was really good. It was a breath of fresh air and something new. I've never seen a drama with double memory loss and i usually get sick of memory loss dramas but i think they handled it really well. I cried ugly the entire episode 9😭 and 10. Dont worry it's a happy ending but a really touching one
I liked all 3 couples but my fav would be doc and village head. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ i really wanna see them in more dramas probably as main leads. Their story was really beautiful. I'm happy every single character got their happy ending.
I deducted 0.5 cz i felt the aranta kingdom's plot was like completely sidelined in a kinda odd way. Especially at the end. They showed us the plotting and scheming but then they didn't show us how the whole thing ended and just told us that it ended so that kinda made me feel like there was a gap.

The most NCs I've seen in a Japanese BL
This drama is literally a NC fest😂😂 at 1st I was like did they add it for views but apparently the manga is the same. It has NC every single episode without miss. It's good for a short drama. The story is decent and the acting is good too. If you're wondering why the rating is soo low apparently it's cz the actors are ugly which I don't agree with. The makeup was a little too dewy but overall it's an easy watch. Skip it if too much NCs bother you. I didn't expect soo much NC cz the poster looked cute😅😅 so.
If you've read "Punch Drunk Love" this one is pretty similar😂😂 minus the oblivious uke.

Scripted compared to s1 but the times they showed their real self although few were good
I might have found season 1 boring cz the episodes were longer and included pretty much everything from the judge's discussion to awkward silences whereas season 2 didn't have that. It is much more engaging and easy to watch but i would still say I like season 1 much better. When I watched season 1 I didn't feel like I was watching actors or celebs instead I felt like I was watching them as a person. Like on day 1 you could literally feel the awkwardness among the contestants and also the stress and anxiousness when it comes to the tasks and finding their partner. You could feel them.In season 2 I pretty much felt no one. There were very few moments where you'd see the person in those actors and it was obvious like you'd see JJ trying hard to interact with people in ep 1 by bombarding them with jokes and later calming down once net shows up, auou being anxious about the shoot, latte being frustrated cz he didn't perform well etc.
I could really feel that JimmyOhm, NetJJ, TeeteePor, LatteKim were already pairs they definitely weren't here to find pairs. When it comes to AueuSave at first I had my doubts but then once they told they were alredy working on Your Sky's workshop it was obvious they were a pair too just trying to copy some things from season 1 to make this season seem realistic. It was pretty obvious that no one was looking for a pair since ep 1 cz no one seemed interested or worried unlike in season 1 were people were afraid (like FirstOne) picking the wrong person might do more damage than good. Also Ryujin coming in seemed soo scripted. It was obvious he was there for Patji cz no one was trying to even consider him as a partner (obviously cz they were all paired up) also the age difference made it pretty obvious he was there for him but Pat is not legal yet so let's just put it out there without pushing it a lot.
For me, when someone says DMD Friendship it's like a place where I can know how these pair's journey started but in this season that was not the case here. During the interviews it was obvious everyone were already fixed pairs before the show. They're here to promote and most of them are already on shoot also no way can they pick a new partner here cz that would definitely affect the series they're working on. Also if u noticed this season it's been 3 episodes but only once they asked for the players who didn't win the task to pick a partner and go on date if they match (we know why). Also during these "dates" you can barely see them actually having deep conversations trying to learn each other to see if they can be a pair unlike what we had in seaon 1 where the whole date they'd actually talk instead of being on their phones. I kinda missed the Polaroid camera😅
Anyways it is entertaining although i didn't like that it was scripted and just a promotion cz it feels like they're just playing with our feelings kinda.
So far my favorite episode is the play episode. Damn JimmyOhm made me cry like a baby. Now i get why people were sad when they broke up. I'm happy Latte finally found his partner but he still carries the same problem he had in season 1. He gets too anxious and messes up and then continues to dwell on that mistake for a long time but one thing i observed was that now that he had Kim he was less anxious and didn't force himself to interact with people. He was much more relaxed although he was still anxious. I really hope he fixes that issue cz on a long run that's not gonna help. He should learn to chill a bit. Like gemini says "try it and if u fail fuck it"
I really would love to review each pair but then i felt everyone was just fanservicing so i don't hv anything to say about them.
Right now after 3 episodes my favorite pairs would be (frankly no one solely based on this show but if i compare other things too) LatteKim, TeeteePor and JimmyOhm
Edit: now that I've watched the show I'd like to review the pairs
- JimmyOhm - They came out as a very mature pair to me compared to others. When it comes to me their highlight was the play where they made me cry and Jimmy getting jealous of Por for taking Ohm on a date. Every performance they gave on the show was kinda sad themed ones, kinda like subtle foreshadowing of the future is what i felt. They made me cry both on the show and irl .Unfortunately I'm here after they broke up so a lot of things they said kinda hit hard and made me feel sad. Well let's treasure the past and dive into the future.
- LatteKim - Latte and Gem were the 2 contestants who i really empathized with in season 1. As i said before Latte is someone who gets anxious easily. Although it was obvious Latte was there for Kim since day 1 and there were small things that were different about Latte now that he had Kim, i still wondered why did they choose each other as partners cz Latte didn't seem to be into it and Kim was a quite person by nature. That was until they got the friendship time🤣🤣. The way Latte switched his personality once he was with Kim i was like.. yeah now i get it😆. This was consistent Latte didn't talk much in huge groups but in his 1-1 he spoke a lot with people it may be kim or teetee. You could see him having Kim gave him a sense of security. Also i noticed he was much more confident asking kim to choose him unlike season 1 where he seemed desperate. Him trying to act cool but being a total loser for kim was just adorable ❤️. Loved their finale performance 🤭🤭 all they did was self service
- TeeteePor - apparently i was wrong about them being a pair before the show. Por was in your sky but tee tee joined later after becoming his partner in this show. Gotta say they had really good chemistry since day 1 cz i really cannot believe the play was their 1st interaction together. I Really like the way Por played. He had frienship time 3 times and it made sense why he chose each 1 of them ohm (friend), teetee(chemistry) and pat (nong who was upset for not being chosen🤣) and it was kinda obvious he didn't pick teetee twice to kinda tease him. I really liked how they kept their promise to sing and dance together in the finale🤭 cz in seasoj 1 i remember teetee dancing cz he wasn't good at singing and por saying he preferred singing. They both learnt something and i think the win was justified they did really good.
- NetJJ - I kinda get why people like this pair now that I've watched this show, i wanna support them myself. I cried when they had the deep convo before picking their partner. Net who never thought he'd ever have a permanent partner again and unexpectedly finding one. JJ who has had a hard time with success choosing to pick Net against a really big fandom from his past pairing. You could see JJs fears and i kinda get now why Net is soo protective about him. The kid really risked it all
- AueuSave - initially i really felt they were acting copying a lot of things from season 1 but yeah by the end that was not the case. But i did see Latte in Auau when he was upset for not winning. His interaction with Por and their friendship was something rare and new🤌❤️. As for save he was downbad since ep 1🤭 he kept trying till the end and succeeded. Another thing i noticed is Aueu's acting is underrated. I felt he did a really good job in the play episode and didn't win cz pat was a newbie and nervous. As for save damn his smile is soo freaking adorable. I was really happey when Aueu won the best performance award cz he really needed that. He kept losing after coming really close to victory❤️ also his finale performance was🤌
- RyujinPat - it was obvious Ryujin was introduced into the show for pat and they chose themselves cz pat is underage so this was just a kinda promotion for them.

Didn't like it at first but kinda grew on me
DMD Friendship is my 1st reality show. I usually do not watch these kinda shows but then i saw a lot of fan references for the khemjira couples so i kinda had to check it out to get the reference. At first I didn't like it much it felt like i was in a lecture with all the terminologies and stuff being explained during the tasks. The lack of background music and awkward silence also bored me so i kinda put it on hold. Now that there are not many series airing i watched this one. Ngl it got better🤭. I do feel the show is partially scripted but that's fine.
Out of all 9 contestants Latte and FirstOne kinda stole my heart. Coming to the groups and solos:
- KengNamping - you could literally see Namping was down bad since day 1. Keng on the other hand did care about Namping but i felt he was kinda worried about everyone. Trying not to hurt people like when he took Teetee for the date. Later he does make a comeback. Their relationship had all these ups and downs with a happy ending. I was just surprised to see keng flirting by the end of the series especially when he said "You like beaches so I like beaches. I'll like anything u like" (SIRRRRRR WHATTTT😳)
- ThomasKong - I was not a huge fan of them when i watched your sky but now i totally get the hype🤭. Both were 100% sure since day 1. I really liked Thomas flirting and being jealous that was just cute.
- TleFirstOneLatte - I really felt FirstOne was the most sensible and sensitive person among the 9 contestants since day 1. Although other contestants were "rushing" to get a partner he was more on the worried side. He didn't wanna be rash and was pretty logical with his decision. Eventhough he didn't have a partner in head he was the star of the show unlike other contestants who were like him but failed it do it. During LatteFirstOne's 1st date i already felt this was not gonna work out cz although Latte was open FirstOne didn't or couldn't open up to him. I felt Latte was very anxious the whole season which kinda came out as desperate which also lead to FirstOne not being sure about him but when it came to Tle he instantly was able to open up but cz he didn't spend much time he wasn't sure and i think he did a good thing by not choosing both and also how he wrote the same letter to both of them giving them an equal chance. Also I'm not sure if others noticed but whenever TleFirstOneLatte are together Tle always makes sure he's between FirstOne and Latte🤭. I saw this in multiple places also he is a pretty straightforward and confident person and it was clear when he asks FirstOne to have a chat with him infront of Latte. I totally get why FirstOne chose Tle cz unlike latte who worked on himself after the rejection, Tle continued to help FirstOne with his finale performance and kept encouraging and getting to know him better like the letter told. That's probably the reason FirstOne voted for Tle in the finale unlike his usual choice Namping❤️. I absolutely love TleFirstOne
- Gems - i really felt bad for him. He was just too introverted, insecure and anxious. For some reason he just didn't look at himself in a positive way the whole show. His negative thinking towards himself is kinda what held him back when it came to tasks n partner cz it was visible. The only thing i didn't understand about him was why did he choose Tle when he knew Tle wouldn't choose him and told him the same.
- TeeTee - Until i watched Duang with u he didn't really make a huge impact on me. He was just a extrovert kid stuck with introverts 🤭. Everyone pretty much babied him cz he was the youngest (except thomas bro suspected he liked kong and instantly went to him n was like "I'll choose kong"😆). He did certainly 3rd wheel in the 2 final couples tho. He was the only contestant who despite not being chosen or having someone to choose didn't give out sad vibes. He was chill and enjoyed the whole show
One thing that was unique about this show was the critiques from the judges. I felt all of them made sense unlike other shows where they only bs also the reason i don't watch such shows. I felt all feedbacks given to the contestants were appropriate and right. Overall it was good but for a 1 time watch🤭🥺

The most realistic and unrealistic drama I've ever watched
I am not someone who likes slowburn especially if each episode is 1.5 hrs long but this one wad good. The length did bother me at times cz it made me feel like I'm watching a Turkish drama and that's the reason I've given this a 9 rating.Coming to the story, this is the 1st drama where literally all characters are good and they've shown everyone's love story including the parents. How work and money can effect a relationship, life and children etc.
I really cried a lot especially Baek Seok Ryu's story cz it was soo damn relatable. Her becoming a high achiever to not burden her parents, always being the giver, not having a dream, her job or education becoming her value and identity, parent's expectations from her, office politice etc. Literally i felt like i was looking at myself the only difference was that there were soo many people who cared about her. That's the reason i said it was realistic and unrealistic at the same time. I guess it does kinda give people hope although the reality is different.
What hurt me more was that Seok Ryu had to be diagnosed with cancer for her and for people to realize her worth. If they didn't know they'd probably take her lightly for life. Another thing was her fiancé, i really tried to hate him but.. i can't say its right person wrong time cz he was the right person and at the right time just not meant to be. I don't think the Sueng Hyo was any better than him, both were on the same level. He gave a whole year for her recovery but just when he thought things got better it got worse. It made sense he was frustrated and confused. He took care of her all alone for 3 years no friends or family and that's just not easy. No one could come out of that unscathed. I felt bad that till the end no matter how much seok ryu comforted him. He still believed it was his fault for not understanding her and for being logical and alwayd trying to pull her up. My heart broke for him.
I have finished the series and i felt it was beautiful. Not just the main couple even the side couple's stories were beautiful just that the episodes were too lengthy that it bothered me.

It was good but ngl i hated Jae hyeon
It was a nice short drama. Can i say U jin is a pretty crier? Cz damn i cried everytime he cried😅. I've not watched the prequel yet so I'll review it solely on this season. It's nice that they showed love doesn't stay the same as years go by but i really think Jae Hyeon is a red flag. He is used to U Jin and doesn't love him anymore. Everything he said when they made up proved that. Also the way he ignored U Jin thinking he'd stay no matter what eventhough he was having thoughts of breakup instead of actually breaking up and gaslighting him. Nope no thank you.
U Jin is kinda dumb to go back to him🙃 he didn't do anything to make up for his mistakes. 1 gift which he didnt bother picking up himself🙄 nah. I wanted an redemption arc but i get it, the drama is way too short to include that

This was something not very stereotypical but confusing
I kept this one on hold for a long time cz of the bad reviews and body swap is just not my thing. But once i watched it i liked it instantly. I've not watched the prequel so I'm gonna review just by watching this.I liked that this drama was short (10 eps, 30 mins) given that there was not much story. For the 1st time i like the character cooheart played. Usually although i like him i find his characters weirdly annoying. He looked soo damn gorgeous and he did a good job with a cold character.
The reason i minus 2 points is cz i just couldn't keep up with them switching and both of them played both the characters in a similar way so i couldn't tell when they were who. The 1st 5 eps were like really good after which i kinda got lost for an episode and now I'm just kinda waiting for the problems to be fixed. Also some places the acting and screenplay is kinda questionable😅 like a stage drama instead of a online drama. Then in the last episode i was just super confused but i guess i get the point.
But i liked Nat's new look🤭🤭. Also TempToy are soo damn cute🥺❤️❤️. I liked how for the entire series although Max is the top, Nat played the top character. Never expected that considering their size difference. Also i like how sun was a green flag but that the lead who shows up to save his love anytime there's a problem. He was nowhere close to perfect. He was not rich and worked hard to earn. Usually the tops are just naturally talented...iykyk.
Overall I'd say its a good watch, not great but good

Entertaining but morally wrong
I had initially put this drama on hold cz i was too influenced by the comments now I've restarted n here's what i feel. Both the actors are similar to BossNoeul look wise so i was like I've seen this somewhere. Even the characters are similar to "love in the air" except here both are kinda red flags.Nuea falls for the groom who's wedding he's planning (okay i can digest this), gets kissed by him (not his fault), then proceeds to do the same multiple times even sleeps with someone who is getting married even if its fake he didn't know it so he technically was an affair.
As for Lom🙃 he doesn't tell nuea the truth he had soo many chances. Even his fiancée had told his lover i don't get why. He knows nuea is struggling but still kept him as an affair and from what i see if his mom didn’t ask him to live with her even after marriage he planned on having a lavender marriage with yiwa and keep nuea as his side piece🙃🙃. I don’t mind the lavender marriage if he would have told nuea before he got physical with him but... he did it wayyyyy after so i found that problematic
My fav pair of all was probably SunRyu i liked their story arc the whole university romance and working in the orchard for his and his family's approval🤌🤌🤌 that's soo sweet
So yeah it's a fun watch but i definitely don't like the characters especially the whole fake marriage part. If u have nothing to watch then watch this u won't regret it but if u have something else dont bother

Why soo short??????
Watched if cz of an insta reel but damn it was good for a short drama. Probaby really good. Would've been great if it was longer. The actors had great chemistry like really great. I've never seen this in CBL. The story was predictable but i loved it🤭🤭. The biggest plot twist was probably Xiao being the top cz i was like this would be like RL where the uke thinks he could be the top but then gets a reality check but then nope Rong was the bottom. I was like damn. Overall it was a nice watch. Haha watch it u won't regret. As for why 9 not 10 it's just it was soo short😅😅Was this review helpful to you?
