Finally!!! CBL with a non-toxic green flag ML!!!

I think Gao from RL is the only green flag ML I have seen in CBLs. This is my 1st time seeing a green flag top as the ML. I watching this drama expecting him to be a red flag but bro turned out to be the chinese version of Prapai from LITA. I absolutely loved Jing An. His acting and his character was perfect. The story was also pretty good with some minor flaws. For me the major issue was with Xing Yao's acting. He nailed the sections where he had to seem numb and expressionless but then failed when it came to expressing his trauma and many other scenes. So both actors were going on 2 absolutely different wavelengths. For instance, XY's past is revealed JAs eyes are filled with fear and tears. He's hugging XY like he doesn't wanna lose him and he's helpless n hurting for him which was done well. But then XY is crying and shivering but then it didn't give trauma it gave faking cold. So yeah, that happened in multiple places.

JA is my fav character. I usually don't mind weak characters but XY and his friend weren't my fav. Ngl i kinda felt XY used his friend and later left him once he had JA to back him up. He didn't try to make up or anything. Especially when the person on the other side is you're bff who protected u and took care of u all your life. The friend wasn't a saint either. I totally get why XY didn't choose him. He did care for him but then he also kept looking down on him instead of helping him cope he kept asking him to give up on music n find a real job... n yeah how the hell can he tell the bullies where he was and what he was doing🙄

Overall it's good not the best but binge watchable

Both good and bad at the same time but i binge watched it

The drama is the literal definition of good and bad at the same time but then you can't stop watching 🤭.

When i started watching it. Everything looked good to me. I was wondering why the comments said otherwise but now I get it. The drama definitely needed more than 6 episodes. 6 wasn't enough. You could see them slowly falling for each other but the suddenly they're in love and dating. The pacing went off there. Plot wise, It's cliché but then fun to watch.

Coming to the acting... i really feel it needed work. The actors had chemistry but also didn't. I don't mind not having NCs but faking it soo badly is another thing😅. They really don't kiss but instead use the camera angle trick multiple times and when intimate scenes come up you can see the awkwardness through the screen.

The actor playing Jian Mo (Ray Chen) there were multiple times I couldn't understand his emotions. Like the scene after they sleep together.. he was supposed to show awkward, flustered and sky emotions but then he showed fear. I was wondering if he had some kind of trauma. Also the scene where the company asked him to sign the contract was supposed to be something emotional but that went flat.. there were multiple places this happens.

Although Xing Lang (Alan Chen) was better his emotions were off at times. Like the scene where he is supposed to be forceful towards jian mo's character... he was wayy softer. Etc

Anyways it was a fun watch. I kinda enjoyed it despite it's flaws🤣🤣

It was good until it wasn't. Worst climax ever

When I see the name ZeeNunew on a drama I just know they're gonna bore me by dragging things out. I came here cz i saw quiet some edits and thought this might be different. They always have this amazing production, acting, chemistry etc but then the story gets soo dragged it makes me sleepy. For the 1st time that didn't happen here. 75% of the movie was really good. It was interesting. Kinda gave Khemjira vibes to me. The plot was plotting. The acting was amazing. Things made sense until... it didn't.

The story is about this woman (ghost) who is trying to seek revenge on her husband's lover who according to her stopped her husband from loving her although she literally forced a gay man to marry her. This ghost is like trying to kill the lover's nephew. Here I was like bro he is not his son so why? Ok blood related digestible i guess but then this ghost only started seeking revenge after he comes to the house🙄.. she was like she couldn't hurt the lover cz he became a priest which means she could hurt the nephew but didn't all these years. The nephew is literally her grandson's boyfriend who she sees falling in love with the nephew and still kills him. Fine all this is like... ok some logic. The reason she stops this killing spree where she tries to kill her grandson n his lover is cz the husband and his lover say sorry for something they never did and the son asks her to stop. This was like a half ass apology n stopping. Like she didn't know she was hurting her grandson. I don't think my words can explain how horrible that climax was.

Also that lover who becomes a priest wth like you guys are soo in love enough to still smuggle ur lover into the house after marriage how the hell did u become a priest and what about that glorious love?? N the husband sigh

Anyways for me the highlight was namping in a kinda negative light. I was shocked to see him🤭🤭. He slayed the role tho. I think i liked the 2nd couple much better. It was more like stop putting your energy into someone who doesn't treasure it instead give ur love to someone who does kinda plot which i liked. I'd have liked the 1st couple minus the bs in the middle

Unlike the title the drama is wholesome lol

When i read the title i was a little pessimistic and was thinking this would be one of those short dramas that have 0 plot and pure NC but nah that wasn't true. It's pretty cute, sweet, wholesome series. Although the plot of soo simple and the series as a whole is 30 mins minus the repeating flashback it's 20 mins. So yep the depth is missing but they do tell us a story. It's not amazing but it's not bad although the ending is an open ending leaning towards happy ending. Makes sense cz they didn't have enough time to give them a happy ending. Acting wise they've done justice to the role. Let's say their looks and acting kinda covers up the flaws in the series.

Overall it's good for a 1 time watch when you're bored

Liked this more than the main story. Was more engaging

When I saw Your Sky had a special my 1st thought was why? Cz i felt there was literally nothing they could add and whatever it was they could have just added it to the main story cz that barely had any plot and after few episodes it was draggy and boring. The long episodes just made it worse for me who is not a fluff person.

Then i started the special as a stress relief kinda thing and frankly i didn't like the ep 1 much i was bored took a week to finish it and then put it on hold for about 3 months😅. I really didn't wanna watch this cz the comments said they barely included the 2nd and 3rd couple here who's story i was more interested in. Later DWY came out i absolutely loved the switch from PorTeetee to TeeteePor and i also watched DMD Friendship season 1 and 2 so now when i picked this up I knew the actors more especially Gems, Ryujin, Pat and also AuauSave so I was just swooning over my ships (this episode had their story). I enjoyed the 2nd and 3rd episode. I still felt the acting needed some work cz the actors were pretty stiff and tensed in quiet some scenes but anyways for me it felt like i gotta watch an AU for DWY and a glimpse of DMD Friendship especially with the ending song we got in ep 3.

I still feel this should have been in the main story instead of special and if they had to keep a special they could have just kept a wedding special like we had for JohanNorth in fourever you

Better than the drama adaptation when it comes to plot flow

My review is based on comparison between the drama and the movie as I've already watched half of the drama.
- Acting - I think both are good. Both give different vibes while the drama chen is more feminine and damsel is distress vibed the movie chen is more masculine
- Plot flow - i really think the movie did a good job with the flow cz in the drama there were things I'd be confused with like how the brother never tells him about the letter/message, chen hating lu for silly reason like he didn't tell me, the dad not being unnecessarily abusive, the in laws not being exes, lu stopping and not raping chen when he said he didn't love him. The plot had a flow in the movie like for an action there was a reaction and it went on which was not the case in the drama. In the drama chen just kept getting sudden episodes of "i can't be with lu". The characters were not very intense and written in moderation here which i also something i liked.

I do get people who recommended me to watch the movie cz i agree.

A nice light watch with minor flaws

The story is kinda cliché but it was quite entertaining. I'd give it a 10 if it were a full length drama cz i feel some scenes needed build-up but this was quite fast paced. Both the couples were soo damn adorable. I really really loved cong cong and shi shi's friendship🤭🤭 it was cute and funny. The acting was also pretty good although there were minor flaws. Overall i loved it although the subs were horrible. I feel the rating is just pure hate towards the drama. You can't expect the same quality as a full length drama from a mini series.

Truly a kidney touching story. I'm in tears.

This drama served nothing but looks😆 not acting, nor plot. I've seen these actors in other dramas and their acting was fine but here it was a disaster.

Jaonine really sucked at playing the toxic red flag obsessive male lead and Tiger couldn't play the "victim" right either😆 it was supposed to serve "jinx" but served nothing but good looks ngl i really liked their costume and makeup. It looked amazing on them. The plot was fine for a while but then after a while it felt repetitive especially when Alo kept running away cz of his gambling addiction 🙄

I hated both their parents especially the grandpa like bro adopted Zane and once his son dies he abuses him in the name of teaching?? Then once he gets to know he has a grandson not a granddaughter he's like bye bye Zane ur no longer the heir. WHAT?? that's the kid u raised. He's been managing that business all his life while your biological grandson was an art teacher and that's what u do??

Well atleast thank god they were not brothers i was 👌this close to vomiting when Zane was like i love him eventhough he is my brother 💀💀 and the old man opened his mouth and i was saved from trauma

Anyways it's a total brainrot😆😆 u can just watch it for fun.

Cute Dumb x Dumber love story

I never expected to love this one soo much. It's soo damn cute despite the story being absolute nonsense 🤭. Everyone in the drama is pretty much dense and don't use their brain so if you're watching this please turn yours off too.

I've watched "Golden Feather" before and i felt their acting was kinda a mess there but here i could see the improvement in their acting and chemistry despite the lack of NC scenes. I feel the roles suited them much better that GF. I can't believe i watched this in 1 go😆. Give it a go It's definitely gonna give u a good laugh

Good but not what I hoped for

I felt this whole reverse time travel was unnecessary with and ending like that in the main story where the story ends with "Did you call for me Jom?" and a hug. I was expecting the special episode to be more about Yai and Jom's life after reunion not an alternative universe where they get yet another sad ending🙃🙃

Also i feel Yai's personality has changed a lot in the specials compared to the main story. In the main story Yai was a lot composed now he just seemed kinda dumb. Like they had sofa back in the day too why would Yai a nobel born try to sit on the floor??

Anyways 2 things i was hoping for in specials 1 life after reunion and links between Jom, meen and others in the modern timeline and 2nd thing would be their 1st timeline where Yai had a mustache so that we'd get some context on why this time travel thing started and why it was Jom who time traveled and why weren't they both born in the same timeline instead of time travel and stuff . So yeah although it was fun i didn't like this much.

An incomplete masterpiece

1st thing i wanna point out about this drama would be the cast. You rarely find dramas especially in Thai with this great acting. The story is pretty good but i felt it was incomplete.

They never told us how this entire time travel cycle even started. We have 2023 timeline and we have 1923 timeline and they also hinted a timeline from before that where Yai has a mustache but the only info we get from the 1st life time is the ring🙃 i am guessing all this cycle started cz they couldn't be together in the 1st timeline but... well that was never addressed so🙃

Another thing i liked was how Jom's ex got a sad ending cz Jom didn't help him and the modern era Jom didn't end up with him.. kinda like karma returned back to him. There were some loops like this that were properly closed and some that weren't. Like what about Ming, James, Robert and others if Pheung, Yai and others are tied to Jom is the modern world even they should've been tied one way or another.

Ngl my heart really hurted for James❤️. He and ming are one of my favorite characters. This drama made me both cry and laugh. It did get a little boring in the middle but that's fine. That was like an ep or 2.

It was good but for a time travel drama. They could have done better by closing loops and adding context which were missing in a lot of places. I was hoping for that to happen atleast in the special episodes but unfortunately it didn't 🙃

You're not missing anything if you skip this

Well... not bad but not good either. Definitely not slow burn as the comments say. They literally are about to make out the 2nd time they meet and make out the 3rd time. It's more like shallow. I know its a short drama but I've seen better.

The entire plot is quiet Yun Oh who has trouble with people falls for bright Tae In who comes to their house to deliver something. They fall in love instantly then Yun Oh ghosts him cz he dk what to say they make up and the end.

I feel they could have casted someone much brighter and with youthful vibes for Tae in cz this guy just wasn't giving that vibes. Hes a good actor just that this role is not for him.

Overall it was meh kinda boring

Felt kinda illegal... it was okay

The drama started off pretty good. I liked it for like 2 or 3 episodes i.e. until we got the complete backstory. Idk i didn't like both the main characters. They didn't have anything likable both kinda toxic.

But i have to mention is Jeong Yeon is soo damn pretty. Every episode he just got prettier. Wish the script was better. Ik its a short drama but ive watched better so i give this a 6. There's nothing special you can skip it.

Editing and acting needed a bit work

Overall i loved the show. It had a strong story and a pretty good cast. The thai influence was pretty obvious with the NC scenes. This was my 1st time watching NCs in KBL. I really liked everything about this show except some cuts that just felt too abrupt. At times i couldn't tell if it was the current timeline or past cz their styling hasn't changed at all. If they didn't wear their uniforms i couldn't tell.

Ja Woon's acting was really good but Jun Su kinda missed at times. His crying scenes were really good but then acting coy, first love and such kind of romance related scenes he seemed off but then when it came to NC he did a good job.

Thats the reason it's an 8.5

Unexpectedly addicting

I've not watched the prequel cz i read it's a sad ending and waited for this to end so that i know it's a happy ending. The initial few episodes kinda gave jdrama vibes with the exaggerated acting and delivery. I really liked the show and i had rated it a 9.5 till episode 9 minus 0.5 for minor misses i noticed but after episode 9 the drama just went on a fast track which kinda felt rushed for me thats the reason the rating dropped to 8.5. I felt we needed a bit more of the 2nd couple's story and also a bit more on Yo Ki faking everything for his image and stuff and a more natural reunion between the leads. It was like they had soo much to cover but 3 eps left so they just rushed to the main points kinda.

I really loved both the tops they were like cunning, playful and manipulative in a nice way trying to get their boyfriend 🤭🤭 which was soo cute. I wonder if the 2nd couple would get a spin off or something. I'd like to see that. Overall its a good watch.
