Underrated only cz it's not a popular BL pair
The drama is an absolute gem. Probably one of my favorites among the ones currently airing. The plot although is a popular troupe is well written and executed. The NC is just right not too much to make it seem like porn. The acting is spot on. I absolutely love all 3 couples and the pacing is perfect. Given 8 episodes they've made sure they focus more on the main couple and give us just enough of the 2nd and 3rd couple. Another thing special about this drama is that it keeps u curious and wanting more like rn I am curious about saitharn's past and the white shirt guy, the beef between sila and mueng (it doesn't seem that simple), how the deal is gonna go etc and eventhough there are soo many points they need to cover the drama doesn't feel rushed nor am i scared they won't cover them well cz this is probably one of the best executed bl I've watched other than restart, top form and kinnporcheI absolutely love this drama. Although we might not see this pair again cz this drama is not a hit. I think i will be rewatching this drama. I really hate it when people just rate a drama low cz the pair is not a popular pair but then rate a below average drama high by spamming it with 10s just cz the pair is popular. Currently there are dramas that are from gmmtv and dmd that are not up to the par but are rated above 8 just cz the pair is popular but this one has pretty much got hate for being cringe when it is actually not.
I saw someone complaining about the gl pair getting more screentime. When they literally were introduced in that episode (ep 3) and barely had like 5 min screentime that episode🙄. That's how unreasonable the hate is towards this drama.
I absolutely love all the characters in this drama including our "villian" gap, our hottie fluke and cutie neau. I hope to see them together in more projects❤️

2 literally crazy people in love
I think this drama was just wayy too toxic for me. I came here after "To My Shore" which also had a black flag but with a really good redemption arc. This one was just pure torture for me. There was just 1 episode where everyone was happy i.e. the trip episode and the rest of the series is filled with toxicity and homophobia.I absolutely despise Lu Feng and I still don't feel he actually truely loves Yi Cheng but is just obsessed over him. The entire series he just keeps raping him over and over again with no explanation. Ends up ragebaiting all their homophobic parents to the grave and keeps hurting Yi Cheng since ep 1. I'm not sure why people don't see that and just are like oh no Yi Cheng is the bad guy.
But 1 thing I liked was that they didn't normalize it but they showed that Lu Feng was actually mentally ill the whole time.
Coming to the acting it was just 🤌🤌🤌. Especially the scene where Yi Cheng's ex comes to save Yi Cheng from Lu Feng. The hug mixed with fear, anger and confusion and the fact that the audience could see all 3 like damn.
I absolutely loved the 2nd couple. Both He Jia Shu and Fa Xuan Ge❤️❤️❤️❤️ they're adorable. I know the brother kinda messes up in the middle but for me that wasn't exactly a big deal cz that issue was resolved n Lu feng messed up again🙄.
Overall it's good. But 1 time is all i can watch this

Good but not the best. The drama was basically spammed 10s to raise the rating
I am a huge sucker for historical dramas. It may be straight or BL and this is probably on the bottom on the list. Now that doesn't mean this is bad. It's an above average show. Pretty good just not the best. After having a 7.2 during the initial episodes fans basically spammed 10s to raise it's rating but yeah 8.5 is reasonable.I started this show cz i saw edits on the trailer and it looked sooo good but then the 1st few episodes. Especially ep 1 were disastrous. With JJ just screaming for no damn reason in ep 1. I really wanted to drop it but then i didn't wanna judge it too fast and fans were like give it a chance and that's how i ended up chucking netjj on dmd 2. Well I think I hated this drama till ep 5. I literally forced myself to watch it cz it was soo confusing and the whole time travel thing felt pointless along with the drama on its own. But later it improved. The drama got much more engaging, interesting and JJs acting also improved. But i felt they should have distributed the plot a bit throughout the series instead of revealing everything in the last 15 mins of the drama. I personally wanted a few more episodes in the modern era but yeah they pretty much tie up all the lose ends although a little late.
Coming to our pairs netjj and lattekim.
Netjj - as someone who has watched and loved bed friend I wasn't very convinced that NetJJ would work on screen. But they work just fine🤭 there are times where both are on absolute different wavelengths and not in sync when it comes to acting but i think they will get a hang of it as they work together. They definitely did a great job and u could see they're comfortable with each other.
LatteKim - I've liked Latte in dmd1 and i didn't know he got a partner and such a pretty one at that. I was pleasantly surprised and loved it. I literally waited for them the whole series our precious JomKaew❤️❤️❤️. I've got 0 complaints with them. They did an amazing job.
2 of my fav scenes are related to them. 1 is the scene where the bowl in the painting gets fixed in the last ep and 2nd could be TutorYim's cameo n Jom's trauma 🤌🤌🤌🤌 i went from hating jom to loving him.
Overall yep it's good u can watch it.

It's bad but addictive
I am watching these 10 min ver of this bl and my review is based on that. For the 1st 2 episodes i felt the drama was going okay and it made me wonder why the rating was soo low. Like it's a classic thai lakorn plot. A twin does something and another ends up paying for it which is kinda violent and rapey but then things come around and we have a kind of redemption. It reminded me of "Kluen Chiwit" if someone has watched this it was pretty popular a decade ago except there's no twins here just misunderstanding. Here the drama started with 2 brothers venus and saturn. Venus being the nice one and Saturn being the rude one and our ML Pakin confuses Venus for Saturn and kidnaps him & tortures him. I was fine till here but then he just rapes him out of nowhere. Now okay they added that scene but they need to handle it too right?? Venus is traumatized by Kin strangling him but not by the rape🙄 like what??? There was no point in the drama i saw kin falling for venus i only saw him lusting for him and the worst part is Tammy who appears to be a character who is sympathetic towards Venus is acting like rape is them hooking up cz they're attracted to each other. Also she lives next door how could she not hear Venus screaming when it happens twice???
Another BS thing that happened was Lookkai taking Venus to his mom after he and his bf decided to rebel against her🙄 and then they did rebel too then he helped his mom and then is like "don't hurt venus" idk all i did was laugh in this scene😆
Anyways it may sound bad but i think it's a watchable and addictive bl. The actors definitely deserve better screenwriting. Watch it but trigger warning it's stockholm syndrome 😆😆 its bad and addictive

Slowburn at it's finest
I am a huge fan of the webtoon so obviously i wanted to watched the adaptation. I feel this was done beautifully. Although the webtoon is still ongoing i think i like how they took things in the drama. Sang Yan has been my crush since secret love webtoon. Yes we have Duan Jia Shu but Sang Yan was my bias. When i read the novel and got to know more about him. I was in love. The entire drama is just beautiful. I don't think my words can express how deep, beautiful and peaceful their love is. It's like this soft warm hug. I cried a lot but I'm happy everyone is happy. Do watch it don't miss out on this.

Overall it was good but could have been better especially with TimPai
I am someone who really likes contract marriage, scam marriage, forced marriage etc so obviously this one made me have high expectations and to some point it also met my expectations. Especially the initial episodes where Tim and Yu are scamming Pai and North. I totally, absolutely loved the writing that we had for YuNorth. They had this wedding and then he realized he's a scammer and Yu makes up for it, immediately apologized and divorced to show north he loved him and accepted all the punishment. It was really touching. The problems with his mother was also handled perfectly with Yu chosing north over his mother. But in case of TimPai the story kinda went downhill after the scam was revealed. Everything was perfect , tim realized he liked pai and decided to start fresh but unfortunately that doesn't happen. The thing that bothered me was Pai gave up his entire life to protect Tim, he gave up on his career and family but what did Tim do? Instead of apologizing and making up like Yu did he instead harrasses Pai and exploits his weakness. He does make up for things later but those 2 or 3 episodes where he is just forcing Pai to stay married was annoying. Worse Pai's family who Pai dedicated his life to didn't bother looking for him or checking on him until Tim asked them to🙄 like wtf. Even Tim's family was the same. They abandon their son who was just out of college with a huge debt and leave the country and then blame him for becoming a scammer. They didn't even show up at the wedding. So that's kinda where they're at.
I felt TimPai's story was not used to it's full potential. Although Mark did make me cry a lot during this series. I felt it could be a lot better cz i was here for the drama, begging and yearning after the scam reveal but that was kinda meh.
Overall it's a good watch but could be amazing. Gmmtv just sucks at screenplay

One of the best bl mini series I've ever watched
I really really loved this drama. All 3 couples were soo damn adorable ❤️.This is the 1st time ever ive watched a series where there's power struggle between siblings but they love each other and none of them want power but just their share 😆😆. Also i loved the bonding between the brothers and with their partners too. It's a really entertaining light watch that will keep u hooked. Watch it. It's really good😌
Minus 0.5 cz they kept switching between Taiwanese and korean and everyone could understand even people who were not part of the family 😆

The number of times I've rewatched this is unhealthy ?
I really love this BL. for the 1st time i love both couples a lot and equally. 6 eps per couple was perfect. Their story didn't feel draggy or too fast paced it was just right... sadly their next projects didn't live up to this but till i liked "love sea" too... I'm trying to watch "boys next world" but it's kinda confusing.Coming back, i liked payu's cunning nature and rain's innocence damn they're soo cute together 🤭🤭 loved all that teasing. As for sky and prai😭😭😭 damn never expected it to be soo good. I've never seen a drama that showed and handled trauma this well... ive watched soo many bls but none lived up to this in that area❤️

Surprisingly good. Made me want more...
I've already watched nearly all the good dramas. So i picked this up thinking it was not a BL.😅 My assumption was it's a drama with him avoiding guys and nothing else but then i realised we had side couples😭. Everytime a side couple appeared i wanted more of each of them😭😭😭 can we get a complete drama with the otheer couple's stories...Then i was like no way Mob is gonna end up with someone but then kikuchi got him🤭🤭 not complaining but i kinda wanted mob to end up with the white flower guy from the bar..
It was surprisingly good. Although i read the next season summary that kikuchi dumps mob for his ex🙄

It's a good drama for the 1st time the comment section was wrong
So yep i kept this on my watch list for a long time cz of the bad reviews like "bad plot", "too boring" and what not and picked this up when i had nothing to watch and was genuinely surprised!!! IT WAS SOO GOOD!!! it's more on the realistic side and not all pink and roses so i guess thats the reason people didn't like it? And also cz just like "love in the air" fort is the healer and pete is the hurt one here? That's what I'd assume. The plot was amazing. Yes it was on the serious side but as someone who doesn't like serious dramas this one kept me hooked and i finished it in a day😅. The acting, story, visuals, music everything about this was good. Yes you might find some similar (just a little bit like 5%) with love in the air but nah this is a different plot totally. Here fort is not rich and not someone who can fix everything for pete.
People calling pete's character annoying. You would only understand if you went through something similar. You can't get over things just cz prince charming showed up. He was trying his best and you would notice it if you watched. I'd just suggest if you liked their story in "love in the air" please watch this. You'll like it but don't expect the romcom vibes you got from BossNoeul's pair here. Watch it only if you liked FortPete's story there and if you're into light stuffs this is not for you. I don't understand when people watch dramas which are not their style and rate it low. There's a difference between not being someone's type and not being a good drama.
Anyways don't listen to the comments and go watch it!!!

It was good until it wasn't. Worst climax ever
When I see the name ZeeNunew on a drama I just know they're gonna bore me by dragging things out. I came here cz i saw quiet some edits and thought this might be different. They always have this amazing production, acting, chemistry etc but then the story gets soo dragged it makes me sleepy. For the 1st time that didn't happen here. 75% of the movie was really good. It was interesting. Kinda gave Khemjira vibes to me. The plot was plotting. The acting was amazing. Things made sense until... it didn't.The story is about this woman (ghost) who is trying to seek revenge on her husband's lover who according to her stopped her husband from loving her although she literally forced a gay man to marry her. This ghost is like trying to kill the lover's nephew. Here I was like bro he is not his son so why? Ok blood related digestible i guess but then this ghost only started seeking revenge after he comes to the house🙄.. she was like she couldn't hurt the lover cz he became a priest which means she could hurt the nephew but didn't all these years. The nephew is literally her grandson's boyfriend who she sees falling in love with the nephew and still kills him. Fine all this is like... ok some logic. The reason she stops this killing spree where she tries to kill her grandson n his lover is cz the husband and his lover say sorry for something they never did and the son asks her to stop. This was like a half ass apology n stopping. Like she didn't know she was hurting her grandson. I don't think my words can explain how horrible that climax was.
Also that lover who becomes a priest wth like you guys are soo in love enough to still smuggle ur lover into the house after marriage how the hell did u become a priest and what about that glorious love?? N the husband sigh
Anyways for me the highlight was namping in a kinda negative light. I was shocked to see him🤭🤭. He slayed the role tho. I think i liked the 2nd couple much better. It was more like stop putting your energy into someone who doesn't treasure it instead give ur love to someone who does kinda plot which i liked. I'd have liked the 1st couple minus the bs in the middle

Unlike the title the drama is wholesome lol
When i read the title i was a little pessimistic and was thinking this would be one of those short dramas that have 0 plot and pure NC but nah that wasn't true. It's pretty cute, sweet, wholesome series. Although the plot of soo simple and the series as a whole is 30 mins minus the repeating flashback it's 20 mins. So yep the depth is missing but they do tell us a story. It's not amazing but it's not bad although the ending is an open ending leaning towards happy ending. Makes sense cz they didn't have enough time to give them a happy ending. Acting wise they've done justice to the role. Let's say their looks and acting kinda covers up the flaws in the series.Overall it's good for a 1 time watch when you're bored

Liked this more than the main story. Was more engaging
When I saw Your Sky had a special my 1st thought was why? Cz i felt there was literally nothing they could add and whatever it was they could have just added it to the main story cz that barely had any plot and after few episodes it was draggy and boring. The long episodes just made it worse for me who is not a fluff person. Then i started the special as a stress relief kinda thing and frankly i didn't like the ep 1 much i was bored took a week to finish it and then put it on hold for about 3 months😅. I really didn't wanna watch this cz the comments said they barely included the 2nd and 3rd couple here who's story i was more interested in. Later DWY came out i absolutely loved the switch from PorTeetee to TeeteePor and i also watched DMD Friendship season 1 and 2 so now when i picked this up I knew the actors more especially Gems, Ryujin, Pat and also AuauSave so I was just swooning over my ships (this episode had their story). I enjoyed the 2nd and 3rd episode. I still felt the acting needed some work cz the actors were pretty stiff and tensed in quiet some scenes but anyways for me it felt like i gotta watch an AU for DWY and a glimpse of DMD Friendship especially with the ending song we got in ep 3.
I still feel this should have been in the main story instead of special and if they had to keep a special they could have just kept a wedding special like we had for JohanNorth in fourever you

Better than the drama adaptation when it comes to plot flow
My review is based on comparison between the drama and the movie as I've already watched half of the drama.- Acting - I think both are good. Both give different vibes while the drama chen is more feminine and damsel is distress vibed the movie chen is more masculine
- Plot flow - i really think the movie did a good job with the flow cz in the drama there were things I'd be confused with like how the brother never tells him about the letter/message, chen hating lu for silly reason like he didn't tell me, the dad not being unnecessarily abusive, the in laws not being exes, lu stopping and not raping chen when he said he didn't love him. The plot had a flow in the movie like for an action there was a reaction and it went on which was not the case in the drama. In the drama chen just kept getting sudden episodes of "i can't be with lu". The characters were not very intense and written in moderation here which i also something i liked.
I do get people who recommended me to watch the movie cz i agree.

A nice light watch with minor flaws
The story is kinda cliché but it was quite entertaining. I'd give it a 10 if it were a full length drama cz i feel some scenes needed build-up but this was quite fast paced. Both the couples were soo damn adorable. I really really loved cong cong and shi shi's friendship🤭🤭 it was cute and funny. The acting was also pretty good although there were minor flaws. Overall i loved it although the subs were horrible. I feel the rating is just pure hate towards the drama. You can't expect the same quality as a full length drama from a mini series. Was this review helpful to you?
