Had potential but kinda became draggy and round about

Sigh i really don't know when I'm gonna finish this one. I've already put it on hold it idk 5 or 6 times cz it's just like next prince or probably worse. Too draggy. Every scene is dragged for no reason. For some reason bank does look kinda awkward doing NC scenes but other than that he's doing a good job playing the innocent uke role. So the problem is not the actors its the horrible writing.

For some reason bank changes his cloths had this weird NC scene effect🤣🤣 with all the blurs and music wtf that was a makeover scene.

Anyways i think it would have been a good story if they had just not dragged it and I'm already half way through the series they have not bothered to address or even hint us about the dreams🙃🙃 they just keep giving us random flashes of that dream and those flashes make no sense and are not giving us a glimpse of that story either. Even when they showed the complete flashback it made no sense. Lot of scenes especially after ep 5 made no sense or were kinda fillers

Ngl it started off great as an office romance between a student and his secret admirer. It went good for a while the flasbacks kinda gave us a sense of curiosity like what happened in the previous life? Why are they having these dreams? What are they trying to fix? Etc.

Then the drama just goes downhill. The entire design thief plot was uninteresting and kinda draggy. The past life reveal is in the last 3 episodes so the rest of the episodes pretty much has no progress. You'll realise that the past life is not exactly past life but kinda like the story of a part of their souls? And the whole point of that was to free Salin's original soul. Then comes the real WTF moment Original sun actually saw salin as his sister and rejects her cz he loves someone else so salin kills sun's lover and his soul ends up trapped unable to reincarnate but then how tf did sun and salin fall in love in this life??? Shouldn't sun fall for the other girl again?? Worse the original sun also falls for original salin in her absence 🙃🙃 also why n what was the original sun protecting current salin from? Bro his orignal soul killed ur lover🙄. Well that was a mess but then they got a happy ending so i guess we're good. Damn MosBank really need better scripts cz wtf was this.

I had 0 interest in the gl couple. Initially i was curious but their plot was pretty much repetitive.

My favorite would be the 2nd couple SamYo. I liked their playful banter, the chemistry everything . I skipped most of the drama but not their scenes. They have good chemistry and proper pacing too and their story is damn cute❤️❤️❤️

Overall should you watch it? Well you can watch it but it wouldn't make a difference if you didn't. Personally u can skip it.

It's good but kinda incomplete. The comments are just pure hate

Unlike the comments the story was actually about parallel worlds. I literally thought the whole parallel world was just Cir's imagination thanks to the comments. Cir is definitely a green flag his only flaw is that he's a coward. He was not manipulative or anything he just told 1 lie to get close to Phu and could never confess the truth dispite multiple chances. Also i don't think Cir didn't pay for his mistake. He did when Phu left him twice for the same reason. For Cir who has loved phu for 5 years that's his greatest punishment.

The only person who was not punished would be Cir's mom. I felt that and a happy ending for his brother was needed to make the drama complete.

I really loved the 2nd couple a lot but the random introduction of mind reading capability was a little abrupt and unclear like they hinted Cir had the capability which then was not bought up as the story progressed.

Also i have a couple of questions that were left unanwered in the drama.
1st why is the Cir from 1 time line responsible to guide Cir from the 2nd timeline. Did they get a sad ending in one of the timelines so theyre doing this?

What does he mean when he says Phu always survives? But in one of the world one of them actually dies (in the flashback)

Why and where did this loop even start? Why is it Cir and not Phu?

How did jin get his mind reading ability?

Also why is black cir in the time room? Cir does occasionally go into Black Cir's world which he mentioned but then why is black cir never shown in his own world instead only in ghe white room?

I think the drama needed more context behind scenes. But the story was pretty interesting it can confuse u if u dont spoil yourself that cir lied about being from the parallel world. I spoiled myself so i thoroughly enjoyed it. It kept me engaged and was interesting to watch although u get clarity on the plot in ep 7 and 8.

Not everything has to be deep to be good but this one lacked depth and was ok

When i 1st watched ep 1 it reminded me of PPW from fish upon the sky i was like it's a good drama why the hate? But as i watched more episodes i kinda get what people are saying. The story on its own is not bad. Its okay, it's a story with a cliché red flag ML and dub-con. I feel people who like green flag leads should just skip this drama.

Well that's not the main issue here. The drama does tell us the story but it doesn't give us the details. Like when did Nu fall for Sun at what point? Sun's redemption arc etc. I feel the should have increased the number of episodes added more depth to the characters. Showing the leads go from hating each other to secret crush to 1 night stand to betrayal to love. That would have made the drama much better.

Overall it's an okay drama. Could be better. You can skip it doesn't make a difference

Pure slowburn. Good but not perfect

I picked this up after Star and Sky and at 1st I liked it although I like Star and Sky much more (back then I wasn't a JD fan) around ep 4 or 5 the plot became extremely boring for me who isn't much into slowburn especially when the drama purely focuses on romance and there is nothing else to keep me interested. I literally dropped it. Tried picking it up a couple of times and failed horribly. But after that 2 episodes of boredom. The series actually does get better😂😂.

So guys if you're watching this there is a point where u wanna give up just skip or watch on 2x and continue. Then I pretty much binge watched it to the end.

I really liked the characters similar to star and sky they were very simple characters, the drama majorly focuses on the emotional struggles of each characters. Now that it's been a year in BL a lot of my fav actors are here like Aou and Boom whom I didn't know when I first watched the show.

I really liked how natural the characters and their flaws felt.. although the final episode kinda messed up. Like ep 11 ends with JokeZo hugging each other and then suddenly ep 12 starts with Zo ignoring Joke and asking him to leave🙄 that was unnecessary in my pov. They could have bought in Joke's family problems a little earlier and also ended Zo's family problems early instead of dragging it. It was a peaceful watch. Not the best of JD dramas but it's not bad.

But I gotta say Zo is probably the prettiest dunk character I've seen. He was dropping beauty the whole series🤭🤭🤭. Yes we have style but he's like sexy and Zo is like drop dead gorgeous angel kinda character

Drama soo good one wouldn't realise it was shot in 1 house

99% of the drama is literally shot in 1 house. The drama is definitely a budget friendly one but the script and acting didn't make us feel it. I absolutely loved the clumsy cop x killer plot. Each and every actor in the series, including the father were serving looks with amazing acting. They did lack blood supply though🤣 cz when it came to blood splatter scenes which would need large amounts of fake blood they just switch the camera angle and hide it. It was funny to watch them do that over and over again. Overall I really liked the drama it was super interesting. The plot twist was pretty shocking for me although I did guess it to some extent, it was definitely not what I thought was the story.

The reason I gave it a 9 was cz i felt some scenes were just kinda out of context. Like after all the villain die they just makeout infront of the bodies😳 umm what?

Also I felt like in the last 2 episodes I needed more scenes instead of them just hinting everything. I feel if this drama had a good budget with 12 episodes. Even with the same actors and directors it'd have been a masterpiece. Especially if they added the backstory of the leads like how I Do ended up with the mayor's man and how he raised him... and his attachment towards him finally leading to his death..that build up would be amazing. Same in the case of Tae Jeong, if they showed his life with his family and how the father's death affected his life. His wish to avenge his father's death, the betrayal.. if those scenes were given the right time 🤌🤌 .. but it's fine. It is actually really good just as it is.

Special mention to Kim Seung Beom's nose. I just couldn't take my eyes off his nose (in a good way🤣) it's like this absolutely perfect shaped nose and is like the perfect size, shape which makes him slay that side profile❤️ and also the killers... someone definitely had taste🤭🤭 cz all the killers were soo damn handsome

Yearner final boss

This is probably the only fourever series for which I hadn't read the novel so my review is solely based on the series. I absolutely loved the fluff overload and yearning I got with this one🤭🤭. At first I was like why are we even getting this when we saw their story in season 1 but when I watched it I was like "totally worth it". I really loved all the couples. The mafia brothers kinda reminded me of our Arseni brothers with the downbadism. I really wanted to see more of SinghaBen but i get it for 8 episodes and 3 other couples they did what they could.

The only sad thing for me was that FieldDan didn't get a happy ending. That man liked Dan wayy before Tiger liked Nao so I kinda feel he deserved a happy ending. Anyways enjoyed it and will miss our doc and princess gang

It's good but needs more depth and also kinda incomplete

I do feel the story could have some depth to it but considering it's 8eps and soo much on the plate I get it. I liked it but i feel it could have been better, a little more redemption, a little more depth. I did cry a little but i feel they could have made me brawl like LITML. There are things that kinda feel incomplete for me rn.
- Like they showed the mom being with gaysorn all that time as a butterfly so does that mean mom bought scent to gaysorn? Which is fine but why scent? Not like she met him as a kid and liked him or something (a back story would hv helped
- mata being able to talk to souls, she said she could do it if it was a muda person and they had a belonging of theirs. Busaba's necklace was with gaysorn the whole time and her soul too. Why didn't she talk
- I feel they could have added something to Mekhin like make him a surprise villian or Tawan's end game cz initially i thought it would be MekhinRay but that doesn't look like it's gonna happen and Mekhin liking gaysorn again that is also being left incomplete cz we hv 1 more episode
- they could have added a stronger intent behind ray helping gaysorn. Probably use his affection towards his mom or else his hatred towards scent... make scent a bit more negative someone who just uses people and used ray too
- a bit more on the part where scent falls for gaysorn instead of that timeskip with flashes of what happened etc.
- bussaba going back after 4 years when phukin told her he'd leave after her..no matter how late he would be 2 years would be max before she assumed he was dead. Especially when he warned her about kusuma
- i am still curious how phukin extracted the scent from busaba. Cz he extracted 3 bottles of it while scent could barely get 1. He obviously didn't torture her.
- the last episode felt rushed with the way it ended. They show scent collapsing but then it's a skip to him owning a land with flowers which was kinda incomplete
- i didn't really see why scent decided to go back to gaysorn when he was soo guilty about the parent's death

I really loved MekhinRay though although their characters would be much better with more depth. Ray was my favorite ❤️❤️❤️

I'd say it's a 7 for me rn I'd give it a 10 if they made this a 12 ep drama with more depth.

Liked this more than H2H

After H2H i didn't have high expectations from this couple but looks like they do have some good dramas in their basket. I really liked this story. I was expecting it to be more supernatural like SurfJava's story but turns out this one is pretty normal. Just a jid pretending to be a fortune teller cz he can't make friends. This reminded me of My school president in a lot of ways. My heart kinda ached for Mavin other than him being bad with people, people hating him cz he is good at something and doesn't seem to be trying hard just felt unfair and relatable but unfortunately irl people don't regret doing such things like the camp kids did.

Overall i liked it the only thing that bothered me is that we didn't get a timeskip to see if they stayed together after Err returned.. the ending kinda felt complete n incomplete to me

People hating this gem for no damn reason

It's a really cute, sweet, fluff slowburn BL. The characters start dating in the last episode i am guessing that's the reason people said it's rushed but i disgree i feel the pacing was just right. It was 15 mins per episode and i think they utilized it well. Both actors had great chemistry dispite the lack of NC scenes. We only got like 2 kisses in the entire drama.

I like how there was no major misunderstanding or problems. Just pure unrequited love kinda set up. One thing kinda unique here was that the top was the innocent type 😆😆 bro kept misunderstanding ramen the whole time. He was soo damn adorable when he was trying to do things for Ji Yu and Ji Yu was just clueless about it n cussing him😆😆

I wanna just stuff both of them in pocket🥺🥺 overall it was good i enjoyed it.

The most complicated characters I've seen in a cdrama

When i started this drama i was kinda expecting the usual cdrama kinda drama where everyone is a green flag but there are a lot of misunderstanding for the 1st 2 eps i nearly didn't wanna watch it but then the more i watched the more interested i was.

Literally there's barely any character like the grandma and the kid that are green flags. Everyone else are kinda red flags. Each character has their own flaws and complex character.

Xu Yan - insecure and lies about her marriage to marry Hao ming
Hao ming - super twisted, fakes love and marries xu yan knowing her truth
Xu yan's parents - trash they didn't deserve forgiveness but whatever
Qiao lin - older sister but always causing problems for her sister and oblivious about it
Lin Tao - looked down on Qiao Lin, blackmailed and stalked her into marriage
Fang Lie - likes her sister's boyfriend/ex and faked dna reports to be with him
Yu Ming - was in love with his girlfriend's ex (not that bad)
Shen's parents - blamed the son for having a son and never got over it, also came from a poor background but judged xu yan for the same

They're all literally the main characters and they all had soo many issues😆😆 well it's interesting give it a go. It was my 1st time watching xiao lu si play such a complex character ive only ever seen her play green flag bubbly girl but this just showed me something new. I also liked how the ML was just not a plain ceo he was soo much more to the point that i hated him😆😆 nah i hated and loved everyone😆😆

Calming, relaxing, emotional yet realistic

This is one of the most touching and realistic BLs I've watched. The drama has quite some unique features like less emphasis on the leads being gay and more about their life and other problems. How everything is not magically solved.
The story is about 2 boys one who gained some light as he grew up and one who lost it. Hiro brings this light into Kai's life when they were younger but overtime loses his own cz of how messy life is.
Compared to Kai's story i liked Hiro's more. I like how accurately they described corporate life. How companies make you feel unworthy and how you lose yourself unknowingly over time. I liked how hiro didn't confront, fight or do anything instead just quit to get out of the cycle. Unlike other dramas where you see the lead works hard and then things happen the villain gets fired and the office problems are solved. In reality no such things can happen. I like how hiro finished his work and quit. How subtly Kai supported and brought back light into Hiro's life and how they grew during the entire series.

It's just beautiful. I dont understand why its rated 7 but for me it was short and sweet

A mini series which didn't feel like one

Usually mini series have their own standards they're not as good as the long series this one was 2 hours long in total but i feel that it was just the right amount of everything. I don't want anything more or less.

I really liked both Eddy and Ian❤️ the playful pushpull romance and the way everyone in the office would shut the ceo🤭🤭 it was cute. One unique thing i observed was ian choosing love over carrier which we usually see in dramas. He chose what made him happy instead of success and how that lead him to another path. I like that they showed that instead of just leaving him unemployed or in the same work he was they showed sometimes its fine to pick ur happiness over money

It's really good but i wanted a few more episodes

The only kinda mid episode was episode 1 where i just didn't feel this drama was gonna be that good. I've watched other age gap office romance which was like wayy too good from the start. This was more on the slow burn side. I really liked how Nozoe was oblivuous of the fact that Togowa liked him but was also jealous and Togawa being a total golden retriever 🤭 my fav scene would be when Nozoe asked him to go out of the kitchen cz he was big and bothersome so Togowa tries to sink himself😆😆 that was just soo damn cute. I really liked those tiny cute moments that popped up once in a while.

The reason i minus 0.5 was cz we didn't get to see their life after they got together much. Like their firsts. First official date. First time staying together after they started dating. Moving in together. Telling friends and family about their relationship etc...

Overall it's nice for a 5 ep drama they've done a really good job
