This is the reason why i think the production team should have been more nuanced in developing the story and character…
Don't be ridiculous. You are blaming the victims. Being young is not an excuse to be an asshole. The fandom is wrong no matter what. There is nothing wrong with the way they are telling the story.
If you were familiar with lakorns, you would know that Thailand’s best actress is a Luk kreung. She was also…
Not really. Half-whites are rare in Thailand. They are less than 1% of the population. Still, they are overrepresented on Thai media. Although tanned skin Thais are the majority, we cannot see them much on media. There is only one explanation: racism. Half-Thais are not magically good, they just have more opportunities to get protagonist roles. Many of them are terrible actors and actresses but they get the job because they are considered beautiful. The same thing happens with Thai-Chinese people. They are overrepresented on media too.
Unfortunately this show is unnecessary slow. I like the intention of showing these kind of problems in the industry,…
I really think it is not slow. It is very short and a lot of thing happens in short time. It is the opposite. They needed much more time to develop these serious issues fully.
Can someone give me a little background on why this series is bringing out such a large volume of unhinged people?…
People don't like the director because he criticized the BL industry and some of his criticism were understood by BL fans as an attack to some BL actors. He didn't mention any BL actor directly, but fans understood like that. And these toxic people think their beloved actors are saints, they cannot be criticized.
I'm kinda sad that I didn't seem to enjoy it as much as everyone else. I loved it until about half way through…
I didn't like it that much because Tian and his bad family committed crimes and they were not punished. The rich ones never get punished in Thailand. This is a real problem in Thai society. We have many cases of young rich Thais who were responsible for car accidents that caused deaths. They generally are not punished. I don't think being a teacher in a poor village is enough for what Tian did. Organizing street races is a serious crime. If a poor guy is caught doing that, he or she would go to jail for sure, but the rich ones can get away with it. Just like Tian did. They think they can pay back their karma doing some ridiculous social work or charity. Tian's father covered up his crimes and managed to steal Torfun's heart. But he is still portrayed as a hero who accepted his son's sexuality. Very bad message from the series to Thai society.
Personally, I think 2gether is slightly more popular than ATOTS (but I love ATOTS ... WAYYYYYY MORE). how big…
2gether was FAR more popular than 1000 stars. You cannot compare the ratings of the two series. I don't like 2gether, but the popularity of the series is huge.
i disagree. why tf are you framing tian and where did you even get that idea? he wasn't literally the one who…
In Thailand even bystanders are considered supporters of street race crime. If you give your car to someone else engage in such a crime, you are considered the mastermind of the offense.
If tian was judge by law. The law will say not guilty.
First, I am talking about ethics, not about the law.
Second, which country are you talking about? You are implying all countries in the world have the same law. If the car is registered in his name, he could be civilly charged in some countries (including mine).
The fact that he intentionally gave the key to someone who he knew would brake the law by engaging in street racing is a crime offense in several countries.
You are a 100% right. I work in this field and this is so totally wrong. Dr. Nam would absolutely be put on a…
You are being too moralist. This is an adult show. Characters are not flawless. Do you want all the characters to be portrayed as perfect good guys? Of course we know what he did is not ok, but engaging street races being drunk are far more unethical and no one says bad things about Tian.

But the point is not the law, but the ethics.
Tian is not innocent.
