ITSAY is far better than Gaya Sa Pelikula and Gameboys, which are adorable series to watch, but not memorable like this one. Everytime I watch a new episode of ITSAY, I enjoy less and less other series. I praise what the Filipinos did this year and I hope their productions get better in the future. For now, the short time of the episodes and the simplicity of the production make them loose a bit of quality in my opinion.

I live in Thailand and this series is far more popular here than Oxygen or LBC. It is the series that everybody is talking about. Tharntype also was obscured by ITSAY. Don't take MDL numbers as a measure of popularity in Asia. Most viewers here are westerners.
I tried to watch the first episode, but the "comic" scenes are not comic at all. They are embarrassingly poorly acted, the facial expressions are amateur, the "jokes" are not funny. The gender stereotypes are so deeply ingrained in this series that it looks like a Saudi Arabian show. Why do they put girly gays as crazy desperate individuals looking for a men? And all these stereotypes about top and bottom are ridiculous.

Well, I am Brazilian but I live in Thailand. I can say to you that this idea that BLs are not intended to reach LGBTQ audience is not true anymore. The fact is that LGBTQ people, specially teenagers, love BLs and the creators are aware of this. Many of the directors and producers of BLs in Thailand are also LGBTQ, which doesn't improve the quality of realistic representation. The problem in Thai BLs is not the lack of LGBTQ engagement both in the production and audience, but the god dam BL market. In Thailand, the producers noted that they can go on with this cheesy and unrealistic formula because it is cheap and the profit is high. The audience is the one who needs to pressure for a change.

I watched all episodes of ITSAY several times already. I can rewatch them repeatedly and cry all times. I prefer more this kind of series. But I like CM too, it is my second favorite of the year. The actors are adorable and I love to see all the funny situations.

I think the description of the plot is too long and confusing. However, I heard this story is a critic on Thai BL industry and it is based on some real happenings, including an abusive producer who tried to sexually molest a BL actor.
