Currently you are in a mood for ITSAY so its better you put on hold to other bls cuz of your current mood you…
Well, in my opinion the problem here is not the mood needed to watch a serie, but the feeling that ITSAY has such a good production, while many other series are poorly produced. I won't name examples, but many series out there have terrible acting, poor edition, repetitive and unrealistic plots... I am not asking for other series to havet the same quality or vibe we find in series such as ITSAY, Cherry Magic or GSP. I only want a little more effort to deliver good series. Many of us have the feeling that some series are not that serious about quality. They only want to attract people who love to see boys touching each other without caring to develop neither the plot nor the characters.
I am not asking too much, I am just asking for more effort from them. Where is the creativity? How many plots involving engineering students we need more? Seriously, I can't understand how can people watch so many series having the exactly same plot. I cannot find any "mood" to watch series like Gen Y, for instance.

Does anyone else feels like this show ruined bl for you? I mean i don't entirely consider this show bl and i don't…
Well, I still have high hopes for Manner of Death. But all the other BL series (excepting Gaya Sa Pelikula, Gameboys and Cherry Magic) this year didn't attract me at all.
The Filipino series are better than the GMM ones, but their production still bothers me a bit. Lakan, for example, has an interesting argument, but the dark photography and the acting didn't satisfy me.
I hope Nadao and WeTV keep making new BL series because I can't bear GMM anymore. Actually, the last GMM BL I saw was Sotus in 2016...

No, It’s not. The exact opposite. Teh likes Oh Aew masculine chest, he likes it so much that makes Oh Aew think…
I don't think so. I think he feels attraction to Oh-Aew's picture. Why would he feel horny looking to that picture out of the blue? That picture was always there, but it was Oh-Aew's picture that made him see that picture in a different way.

I will copy and past a comment I made replying someone because I think this is important.

The male chest and female breast is important to Teh's discovery about his own feelings and desires.

He is afraid of his uncontrolled craving for Oh-Aew and the chest/breast has a meaning here. First he saw by accident Tarn's breasts. He feels shy but we can clearly see he is curious to touch it as he is still discovering his sexuality. Remember he is virgin and he is curious to explore new things . Later, there is a conversation between Oh-Aew and Teh about touching someone's boobs (while they were going to the pier on a motorbike). Both of them confess they are virgin and that touching boobs is something they never did.

Then we have Teh and Oh-Aew's hot scene where he stops touching him when he realized that he had lust for a breast that is not feminine.

On ep. 4 the references to breasts continue. Tarn tries to attract Teh's desire using a painted flower covered Bra.

During their beautiful kiss beneath the sea shallow, Teh touches carefully Oh-Aew's right chest. The camera focus on this move, it was not a random shoot.

Finally, Oh-Aew posts that picture on Instagram and that vision makes Teh feels horny. The picture was so disturbing for him that he started touching himself and looking to that character picture (maybe he always had repressed feelings for that character and Oh-Aew's picture destroyed the psychic barriers he made to block his feelings).

Teh is afraid of his own feelings and the chest/breast thing is a sign of his confusion. He does feel attraction to Oh-Aew's male chest, but the fact that women and men's breasts are different is a big thing for Teh's mind. When he touches Oh and realizes that he feels horny despite the sex anatomical different, he has to face the fact that he feels attraction to males. This is mind-blowing for him.

Because red is sexy and make him sexier.
This was just a joke, man. LOL.

But the director said Red represents Oh and Blue represents Teh.

I do think both are correct. Teh is afraid of his own feelings like you said, but the breast thing is a sign of his confusion. I think the main point is that people do not change, When they were kids Teh acted selfish, and was trying to…
Because red is sexy and make him sexier.

Yes, he gave up it either.

I just watch it raw....
My Buddha... My suspicious was correct:
Teh gives up his position at University for Oh-Aew.

So much drama with Teh's family.

So much pain. This is a tough episode! Teh suffers a lot! Oh-Aew's picture on Instagram was a big surprise!

The series surprised us, because we taught that Teh would give up his position for Oh in the last episode, but it happened now! So now Teh and Oh's status have changed. Teh needs to study to get to university, while Oh already got want he wanted!

Everything changed after this episode!

I don't think any Filipino BL can match this one. For me, this series deserves an Emmy.
Well, I disagree. I think GSP is adorable, but conventional. They decided to follow a more didactic style, where most things are spoken and the LGBTQ rights and concerns are explicitly addressed. This path is fine, but not so good as using poetic subtlety. I really don't think there are much room for layers as you said. Of course I agree that being didactic and activist is necessary, but I am talking here about how a TV show can advocate for a cause in a more artistic way.

I think the big difference is that GSP is lovely in general, but there is nothing particularly unique. ITSAY, on the other hand, has stablished several scenes that are now memorable and anthological. While GSP looks for references in movies to make a very good show, ITSAY sets the way to become a reference itself. Yes, we have seem this kind of story before (as you pointed), but the plot we see in GSP is not new either. I am not looking for new stories here. What matters is how you tell, not what is told. The photography, the colors, the costumes, the situations we see in ITSAY are so well done that they get stuck in your mind. It is the kind of show that you will compare to others in the future.

About the LGBTQ community and the Thai series, actually most of the directors and producers of Thai BL series are gay men. This fact doesn't improve the quality of these series. The problem in Thailand is not the lack of involving of the LGBTQ community. The problem is how the Thai BL market was created. They found a very cheap formula (stablished by series like Sotus) that provides high profits and they are insecure the move on. They won't change this formula unless the audience complains.

Being honest, I dislike most of the BL series nowadays. This year, I enjoyed only 4 series so far: Gameboys, Gaya Sa Pelikula, Cherry Magic and I told Sunset about you. Everything else seemed boring to me. I have high hopes for Manner of Death because I like the director. Let's see if it is good or not...

Guys! What are your theories after Nadao released those pictures today...?I am getting more scared ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ
Oh-Aew crying along his parents.

Two options:

1. He failed the exam.
2. He decided to come out to his parents.

I hope it is the second alternative.

What happened to the MDL's ranking? Last week it was on rank 23rd, and jumped to rank 4 hundred something. AND…
I think it is only a bug because the same thing happened to The Gifted Graduation.

Gameboys is more interesting than GSP for me and the acting is more natural, although I prefer GSP in general.

Well, I think GSP is far behind. The production is not so good. I would say that it is almost amateur compared to ITSAY (which is understandable since BL productions in the Philippines come from alternative productions). Another disadvantage of GSP is that the plot is told in a very traditional and didactic way. The dialogues explain everything, while in ITSAY, the narrative is more poetic, subjective, things are explained by images instead of didactic dialogues. GSP is very good, but it has a very conventional narrative. In addition, it does not have an original soundtrack so well done as we have in ITSAY. Still, GSP is my third favorite BL in 2020, behind ITSAY and Cherry Magic.

they are probably other thai bl fans who can't accept their actors having no talent + no chemistry also they are…
Unfortunately, both options are possible. But the second one bothers me more. Sad to know that some people hate us LGBTQ so much that they need to do this.

Only this series that has received more than nine points in Thai bl history. I guess
There are only three BLs that received more than 9: I told Sunset about you, Cherry Magic and Gaya Sa Pelikula. If you consider The Untamed, it will be 4.

About the series ratings: in just a few hours the series received several scores 1. It can only mean one thing: someone is trying to make the ratings of this series to fall.

What is the point of doing this?
