No one said that "Love just is". I said that we don't need any reason to know why he feels attracted to him. The story doesn't want to investigate the reasons behind teenage feelings. They just want to explore the feelings themselves. That's their purpose, which is pretty fine for me. If you are not OK with that, you will hate everything about this show. I don't understand this question. Someone can be bisexual, pansexual, can be mostly straight and then be more interested in homosexual relations. These things are pretty normal, so I really don't get you. Why does it bother you he was in a straight relationship? If he is bisexual or not, this is completely irrelevant to the plot. That first scene is there just to show us that FM favours monogamous relationships. When he is into someone, he wants a more "traditional" relationship. But his label (gay, straight, bi) is completely irrelevant.

That's insane to me, and I consider myself a socialist. Actually, we could say the same thing about ITSAY, where the characters were middle class boys. Oh-Aew, actually, seemed to be pretty rich. Didn't you feel offended by the lack of representation of the "real" poor people of Phuket?
No one of the main actors are from the South of Thailand and Teh's family speaks Mandarim instead of Cantonese, which is not accurate to the reality. Nothing of this bothered you in ITSAY, but now you are complaining about lack of representation/unrealistic plot in Gelboys. Aren't you just biased because you like the "nostalgia" that ITSAY made you feel?
Well, I think Gelboys does a better job in representing accurately middle class Bangkokians than ITSAY did with southern Thais. Middle class people who are addicted to Social Media exists, and they decided to make a story about it. That's it.

Even the filter thing seems nonsense to me. Why the supposed yellow filter fits Phuket and not Bangkok? Your opinion here is quite arbitrary. I also don't see how "rural" ITSAY is. We have very different opinions about what this word means. ITSAY is quite urban, a small city is not rural area.

This is far from being true. Most BLs series in Thailand nowadays are directed by LGBTQIA+ directors, and the store is are not that different from the novels written by women. The fact is that gay men watch anything they want, it can be realistic or not. Not all straight stories are realistic, so I don't get why gay stores should always be.

Most BL series are the same: same storyline, same photography, same grayish colors, same unrealistic scenary. You are complaining about the first attemp in years to do something different?

I am not Thai but I have been living in Thailand since 2019. Althought I am a University teacher now, I worked in a school for almost 4 years before. The characters in this series look like my old school students, I don't understand what you mean about being forced. For me, Thai students seem to be exactly like that. They are obssessed with their idols, with instagram, spotify, and X (if they are more politicized). They care a lot about pictures and 'looking cool'. Their way of flirting is weirdly shy and when there was a new slang being used everyone tried to teach me about it. Actually, I am quite surprised about how accurate it make me feel about Bangkok area students. Of course not all students were like that, but many of them seem like the characters of this series. That's what I feel.

I LOVED the aesthetics of this series! Amazing colors, amazing photography. Daring nude scene at the bathroom! New is doing a great job as an actor! Congrats to Boss Kuno for his new series.

I did not like: episodes 1,2,7,8
The last two episodes are kind of unnecessary. They are slow and boring , full of depressive digressions that could be resolved with a phone call and an apology.
I couldn't understand many decisions of the protagonist, maybe because he is very different from me.

Well, for me that's the point. Like you said, YOU WANT TO FEEL these things, but apparently that's not what the writers want. For me (and maybe I'm wrong), the plot decided to go in different directions for the two couples. While Style/Fadel are genuinely into each other, Kant/Bison have a fake/toxic relationship. Kant isn't really feeling most of the things you're saying here. He just wants to finish his detective work so he can live his life in peace. He only cares about his brother, nothing else. And about Bison, although he seems to have feelings for Kant, his feelings are far from healthy. He's possessive, jealous and aggressively toxic. I liked how the script played with our expectations. Fadel seemed to be a rude and emotionless guy at the beginning of the series, but now we can see that he's much more open to a healthy relationship. He's not really rude, he's just suspicious because of his profession, but he's really desperate to have someone to love. Bison, on the other hand, wants control and fun times, not a healthy relationship. For Bison, having a boyfriend is about having someone to control. Fadel is quite different, treating Style with much more respect and affection. In addition, he is also much more emotionally stable, romantic, and caring. Bison, on the other hand, is chaotic and violent. Kant cannot love Bison because Bison is simply untrustworthy. No sane person would fall in love with him. He needs to change in order to be loved, and I think they will explore this in the upcoming episodes.

But who did say Kant is slowly falling in love for Bison? I don't see that. Their relatiosnhip is supposed to be fake. That's the point.

Really? I think Joong's character is the most interesting one, while style is annoying! Also, Dunk is the least convincing actor among the 4 of them.

The sexual dance part was perfect for me. I have no complaints.
I think the BDSM part was made to be a bit funny. I do not take this series seriously, it is not made to be realistic. It is kind of cartunest, in a good sense (at least for me). I have this feeling since the first scene, where they kill that guy in a James Bond way. I got the mood of the series, so I am enjoying it.
