It's really not that bad of a show. However, SK audiences like dramas for a host of difference reasons and this one doesn't seem to be a great hit there.

She is also not that bright and struggles to hold down a job where all she has to do is sit her ass in a chair and instead runs around the building trying to work on her dating life. She is in her late 20's or early 30's and sits at home waiting for a rich guy to marry her. There are so many teenagers with more ambition and drive than her.

Even Yu Gyeong got a win today, and she had to do nothing but stay put.

I keep getting this feeling that Jae In's son is not dead.

I think today's episode was a great way to start off the 2nd and last half of this drama. However, it also means the A-hole team is going to be out for blood.

Do Yun brought her there when she had no other place to go, and he found her passed out drunk. He decided to keep her close, even though the uncle wanted her gone once he found out who she really was. I don't think she pays rent, but they need to explain to the mom who she is because it's a big vulnerability, and she is liable to find out in the worst possible way.

I also cannot understand for the life of me why Director Do thought it was a good idea to bring Jae In's mom to work at Do Yun's mom's restaurant. That is also a disaster waiting to happen.

Dementia is not something you can or should keep secret from family members, close friends or anyone who could have a chance to watch out for the person with the condition. You never know when or what will trigger an episode and the person could get themselves into serious trouble. Someone being in the early stages and on medication is pretty much meaningless.

While it's understandable that MIL wanted to not worry her family members, GS should have never agreed not to tell DS so he could take precautions. I know the writers did it this way for dramatic purposes, but they really made GS look clueless and never depicted her trying to better understand the information she was dealing with and how she should handle it.

I hope the preview is misleading because I am just over the number of objections in one drama of other people's relationships.

To me, GS's conduct at the very beginning of Episode 46 was infuriating. Absolutely refusing to listen to DS's point of view and completely missing the point that it was not about his assets.

When appropriate I hope you cover the education system also. Especially, how on the surface they seem to be creating a highly educated work force but that too is not what it seems.

Just to clear I meant that post for those who may not know a lot about the Chaebols. I know you do from your previous writings.

This is just for people who may not know a lot about the history of the Chaebols of SK.

If you do some research on South Korea’s chaebols, it will help you understand a lot about how and why really wealthy families are depicted in K-dramas. You will also understand why the poor girl marrying into a really wealthy family plotline is almost pure fiction.

At the same time, the depiction of some of the horrible things the wealthy get away with in SK is certainly not fiction. The chaebols are/were so important to the SK economy that they can destroy lives they deem lesser, manipulate the press, politicians, and law enforcement with ease. They rarely face any significant punishment when caught.

You make an important point about future control. Once someone figures out you will be passive and allow them to interfere in your relationship, they don't stop.

Even in this drama, there have already been 3 or 4 instances where the MIL has interfered and tried to control GS. When they were at dinner and she asked GS to keep their conversation from DS. When the MIL went to the brewery to further intimidate GS. When GS found out about her dementia, and this latest meeting behind DS's back.

Time passed him by like it does for us all. He failed to notice and reinvent himself as a dance instructor, coach, and mentor.

The MIL seems to believe because her daughter was with DS as he built that she through her children should inherit his property. But she has no right to dictate that or make any deals with anyone.

I disagree because I am not seeing anything in GS' character to suggest she is thinking or even acts along those lines. She was willing to keep MIL's condition secret and she was willing to meet with MIL without DS' knowledge and would have done what she suggested if he had not found out.

Couples should never let 3rd parties interfere in their relationship. I don't care if it's father, mother, sister, brother, once you allow that, even once, you are asking for trouble in your relationship. The mother-in-law stepped way over the line, and to be frank, so did GS. You don't make side deals about someone else's property. I know DS won't blame GS, but MIL needs to be put in her place, and if she can't stay there, she needs to go.

The crazy thing with this is if she just acted like a normal rational person there is a very good chance Bemosoo would let her have a relationship with her kid.

Everyone is entitled to your own perspective. I just feel this entire discussion would not be happening if viewers didn't feel that something is off. Rather it be acting, writing or directing people can tell when things are not clicking.

As I wrote before, it seems like GS has more affection, feelings, love and joy for the brewery, and her brothers in law than the ML. Their relationship seems forced, one-sided, and almost as if she is being dragged into rather than being a willing participant.

She was another character this episode with a piss poor excuse for her past behavior. Hating Jae In because she was born into a wealthy family as if Jae In had some kind of control over that. We can already see Jae In was never one of the rich brats that treated everyone like they were beneath her.
