I think I can phrase my words better now. Mi Ran is definitely a victim of her patriarchal upbrining, she believes…
I do have sympathy for her having to grow up and survive in a patriarchal society where women are expected to obey the father, obey the husband when they both pass, obey the son. Women are not treated fairly in most of the real world we live in but they are really stifled in a society like that. But there has to be resistance even though it's very hard and takes a lot of courage or nothing will change.
When Gi Man showed up in front of Yu Gyeong, and she let him in, I thought we were going to see her backslide. Lucky that Hong dude showed up. But, I'm still suspicious that the slug that is Gi Man didn't plan that with the Hong dude.
I hope our team comes clean to the mom before Mi Ran has the opportunity to tell her who everyone is and frame it in the worst possible way. If they don't come clean, they have pretty much put a target on her back and made her vulnerable to manipulation by the evil team. Either that or someone comes to the diner before Mi Ran can sabotage their efforts.
i think Mi Ran is a victim too, I think she HAD TO give up the baby so that the company would have a male heir
The victims are Seung U, whomever his father is confirmed to be, her sister-in-law and Jae In. If anything Mi Ran is a co-conspirator in taking away everyone's autonomy. She is showing no real remorse but instead trying to justify the hell she is putting everyone else through.

I disagree. Mi Ran had a choice but succumbed to her own cowardice and greed. She still had a choice. It was a difficult one for sure, and she should never have been put in that position by her own family, but she betrayed her son, his father, and her sister-in-law by choice.
Not to mention, she didn't have to continue this ruse until being forced; she could have come clean, but she is still doing it. She disowned her niece, and now she is going to do further damage to her.
I guess it's not a spoiler that Jae In's mom has dementia. What she did today, by spilling the tea, I really can't blame her for since she now knows she will get worse over time, coupled with the fact that she was betrayed and deceived for years by people she should have been able to trust. Still, I cannot pity her, though, because she hurt a completely innocent person.
Do Yun brought her there when she had no other place to go, and he found her passed out drunk. He decided to keep…
I guess I am confused because you with think that since he was close to Do Hee at work that he would have went to her funeral or at least paid his respects to the family.
He also, knew before he brought her there that Gi Chan's mom owned the restaurant right across from Do Hee's mom's restaurant and that they don't like each other and it was problems waiting to happen.
And I love what she did with the money! JI is getting a smarter and smarter!
I think she made a really smart move with the money because it seems like Gi Chan was going to put a plan together to get it back. Now he can't touch it.
yes there is lot of improvement for jaein /doctor and the rest good guys after 51 episodes , BUT , dohui s murder…
It's really not that bad of a show. However, SK audiences like dramas for a host of difference reasons and this one doesn't seem to be a great hit there.
She’s an entitled, ignorant individual. She is clueless and egotistical. She thinks every man she is after should…
She is also not that bright and struggles to hold down a job where all she has to do is sit her ass in a chair and instead runs around the building trying to work on her dating life. She is in her late 20's or early 30's and sits at home waiting for a rich guy to marry her. There are so many teenagers with more ambition and drive than her.
I think today's episode was a great way to start off the 2nd and last half of this drama. However, it also means the A-hole team is going to be out for blood.
Ok, can someone explain to me how the fl ended up living with the ml’s family? The adult in me is even wondering…
Do Yun brought her there when she had no other place to go, and he found her passed out drunk. He decided to keep her close, even though the uncle wanted her gone once he found out who she really was. I don't think she pays rent, but they need to explain to the mom who she is because it's a big vulnerability, and she is liable to find out in the worst possible way.
I also cannot understand for the life of me why Director Do thought it was a good idea to bring Jae In's mom to work at Do Yun's mom's restaurant. That is also a disaster waiting to happen.
HE demonstrated how it is done when you care for someone - she asked him to keep it a secret and he immediately…
Dementia is not something you can or should keep secret from family members, close friends or anyone who could have a chance to watch out for the person with the condition. You never know when or what will trigger an episode and the person could get themselves into serious trouble. Someone being in the early stages and on medication is pretty much meaningless.
While it's understandable that MIL wanted to not worry her family members, GS should have never agreed not to tell DS so he could take precautions. I know the writers did it this way for dramatic purposes, but they really made GS look clueless and never depicted her trying to better understand the information she was dealing with and how she should handle it.
To me, GS's conduct at the very beginning of Episode 46 was infuriating. Absolutely refusing to listen to DS's point of view and completely missing the point that it was not about his assets.

I keep getting this feeling that Jae In's son is not dead.
