Nam Jin only had 300K left and he gave that to her mom to pay the investors wanting their money back. I think they paid back the 1 million to the contractors but the investors were in for a million also and she borrowed at least 20k to bribe that lady and the investigator is looking to get paid.

Anyway Sang A has a mess on her hands.

Good point on the switch baby. For some reason Jung Bae has to be hit in the face with evidence. He also still doesn't understand that Sang A is the reason why they left the firm and he is the cause of that for promoting her in the first place.

I guess we see soon, but my thought was the argument he overheard wouldn't be enough for him to go there.

She a terrible parent figure and like we often see in K-drama moms using emotional abuse to control her son. MJ's not the problem it's her.

I agree with you about Se Young. She kicked all of this off, never once came clean to her aunt and was perfectly happy when things were going her and her Mom's way. She was never shown as having doubts or trying to talk her mother out of doing the evil things she knew her mother was doing.

Just a guess, but I think everyone will enjoy today's episode.

I not mad. I do think though that notebook still exists. If you watch the scene when Se Yeong handed the notebook to her mom, her mom never opened it like she did the fake one with the cops. I think Se Yeong gave her a fake one then checked on her in the bathroom to make sure she wasn't reading it. Then in the preview for the next episode Se Yeong still had the large white envelope the notebook was originally in.

I don't know about Korean law, and I know this is K-drama logic, but co-conspirators' statements are evidence that can be used against everyone involved in a conspiracy. It's an exception to the hearsay rule. In this case, Myeong Ji, the detective, and the driver all conspired to murder Yeo Jin's daughter. This is enough to get her charged and into court. Sentencing comes after they are convicted. You can't say they will get a reduced sentence or she will get life without first getting a conviction.

Personally, I still don't see how that handwritten notebook ties everything together and is more significant then the co-conspirators statements. All Myeong Ji has to do is scream you have no hard evidence and bam the police are defeated.

It would be a twist on this boring switching of the DNA results overused plotline.

I don't think she gave her mom the real notebook. Anyway she has done nothing in my view to earn forgiveness.

I don't know anyone in their right mind who would have continued with that show after the crap they pulled. Between Sang A and the 3 clown writers, there is no reason not to sue them for their utter incompetence and lack of integrity.

I was hoping to see another twist with Chu A not being the CEO's child either. The thing about the PI is that the villains never have a problem finding someone without ethics in any profession in SK.
