It is unfathomable to me that viewers of this show don’t understand the Wolf is a complex character who was literally raised by animals….yes…wolves then psychologically and physically tortured by Chu Kui. He never really understood what it meant to be a human and have empathy. He was raised by animals then saved by a sadistic king that literally used Satanic ritual abuse on him, tortured him, and manipulated him. He was abused for his whole life and “handled" by not only Xing’er when he was the “Wolf” but also by the King when he gained his alternate identity in the dungeon and became “Prince Bo.” There is a lot of duality and symbolism with him and Xing’er, and both have been shaped and molded by the trauma they both received throughout their lives. That is why the writers made it clear to viewers that the main characters understood they had an ill-fated love. Not only is the male lead a complex toxic character, BUT SO IS THE FEMALE LEAD. Learn how to be objective and read between the lines, please for the sake of the story, which I personally thought was beautifully told. Anyway, I appreciate your opinion although I could not disagree more.

He is amazing and very underrated! One of my fav Korean actors along side Yeo Jin Goo, Ji Sung, and Kim Soo Hyun.

Well, it takes two to tango, so that’d make it both their fault. Also, I think An Shang is the worse because she grew up with Qi Yue and they were as close as sisters. Just awful.

So, wait... will there be a season 2? That was one hell of a cliffhanger. On another note, The ending of the leads coming full circle was beautiful and well done. When I realized we got a flash forward 5 years into the future my thoughts immediately went to wondering where their child was while watching them hug. Moments later the cutest little boy ever seen in a Kdrama appeared running to his mum and dad! Well frickin done!!!Prince Yangmyung even managed to redeem himself. This was an enjoyable watch and I’m hoping for Season 2.

This is great news! He’s so underrated, and deserves more work. Doesn’t hurt that he’s absolutely gorgeous either!

I don’t like her character, but I can see how someone with a small brain might misinterpret someone having an opinion which differs from there’s as hating. No biggie. Have a nice day 😄

You misinterpreted much of what I’m saying. Also, the capital letters were simply to stress my points. I didn’t use caps to note anger or arrogance. You seem to lack understanding and context. Also, I never threatened anyone here. I come in peace. What I did say is I’d block you, not report you. For what? You didn’t threaten or harm me, but it is a nuisance trying to respond to someone that is relentless and looking for drama where there is none. I’m sorry, perhaps you misunderstood. I was asking if anyone else was annoyed by the actors facial muscle twitching. I NEVER asked if viewers were enjoying the drama, but the fact that *you* are enjoying it was implied by your response to my comment. No need for contention. Happy watching.

I hope we get an answer to that by the end of the drama. Also, I’m hoping this one has a happy ending.

I couldn’t agree more. What I do wonder about is if Prince Joon feels entitled to the throne because he is the first born or was the legitimate son of the active King and Queen. Perhaps I missed that in this story, or this drama could fall victim to endless plot holes that keeps viewers guessing, which I have to admit is quite annoying.

Exactly! That’s why I said he is pretty ONE NOTE. I really dislike the guy though, so for that reason he must be doing a good job. Lol!

Yes, I pointed out in my previous comment he is doing a great job as a villainous character, but he is really overdoing it on the facial muscle twitching. It really makes him seem a bit one note. There are a multitude of ways to portray a villain using a variety of different expressions. Glad you seem to be enjoying it though. 🙂

Thank you for pointing that out. He is looking in the direction of the sounds and voices. I think people seem to not understand that blind people have the rest of their senses heightened, for instance, they usually have much better hearing than folks who are not blind. Ahn Hyo Seop is doing a great job with an incredibly complicated character, too. Well done

Chen Xiao is such an amazing and underrated actor. Loved him since Legend of Li Zhen! I am super excited for his many upcoming works!

Why are the writers trying to turn Prince Yangdumb into a sympathetic figure in the beginning of ep 11?There’s no redemption for him at this point, imo. He’s super obnoxious and obsessive.
