I have to admit, I’m really enjoying this so far! I still have to say that episode 2 a little bit more than 29 mins in that I rolled my eyes so hard that I almost fell asleep watching the ML come to to ZZ’s “rescue” from his annoying brother. Wayyy too dramatic for me.

Loved when grandma gave the evil step-mother a taste of her own medicine! Well done!

The only time I was not smiling while watching this is when Zhousheng Chen’s megalomaniac mother popped up on screen. Otherwise, it’s been great watching ZSC and ShiYi fall in love in modern time! 🥰

Super cute short drama.

Can I just remind everyone that we are only 2 episodes in on this drama? It’d be nice if viewers actually give the drama a chance. It looks like a lot of people commenting here are just regurgitating previous comments on this thread. A lot of unnecessary negative comments considering the show literally JUST started. I may be the only person that absolutely LOVES THIS DRAMA so far! I thought the kiddos did a great job in their portrayal and their story was cute and set the stage nicely for the adult characters they become. The couple is literally connected and are a part of each other, as she has his eyes. It’s really symbolic, poetic, and beautiful. I could type more but I’ll leave it at that. I love how their chemistry is blazing hot! The way the director shows this is super well done! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched episode 2! This drama, the Long Ballad and One and Only has saved Asian dramas, imo, this year! Bravissima!

This is a must watch!

THIS IS A TOTAL MUST WATCH! I may be typing this too soon, I mean, after all I’m only 4 epis in, but this is Bai Lu at her best! I love her break from all those masculine roles to now a total femme! She’s beautiful, and able to portray emotion so well without a true dialogue in the first few episodes. Very well done. I also love the pure, raw “romance” that seems to be lying just beneath the surface for Shi Yi and ZSC. I can just imagine how beautifully their relationship will progress in future episodes. I just know the tears are coming soon, but I’d enjoy this drama just as much if everything remains even keel. However, we all know within a few episodes there will be a major crescendo that rocks the boat. *Sigh* Finally, a drama this year in which I literally cannot wait for the next episode! I didn’t think it’d happen 2021, yet here we are and I am 100% HERE FOR IT!

I wanted to drop it in the beginning too, but Miles Wei and that Xiao Bao won me over. Everytime XB called FL “mommy” my heart melted. If you decide to watch until the end you may even shed a couple tears, because some of the scenes pull at the heartstrings. Overall, this drama is worth the watch! :-)

This was an overall beautiful drama...BUT the FL is problematic. She’s supposed to be a psychologist yet she runs away from HQ and XB every chance she gets. She also lacks adequate communication skills and the ability to resolve issues in a mature fashion. She is possibly the most unstable, insecure, and indecisive character I’ve seen in a drama in a long while. This character seriously annoys me. Honey, just be glad an attractive, intelligent, and considerate man is even interested in you at all! SMH. Miles Wei and the ADORABLE XIAO BAO are this drama’s saving grace!!! Oh! Love the theme song too!
