Jisoo unfortunately doesn't possess that and I'm not saying to hate, if you actually are unable to see how poor her acting is then there really isn't much I can say. The actors in Parasite did a phenomenal job and the director giving Jisoo a compliment like that is high praise but at the same time it's also just being kind, I don't think it would be in his best interest to criticize a member of the biggest girl group in history especially considering how defensive and obsessive Kpop fans are.

I'm genuinely trying but she's just soo bad at acting, I can tell it's definitely something that she isn't good at which makes it all the more important to have had significant acting lessons if she's going to be an actress. when I watched Snow Drop, it was incredibly apparent how abysmal Jisoo's acting was especially because her male co-star was Jung Hae-in, who in my humble opinion is tied for the best actor with Ji Chang-wook. I know she was an absolute rookie and it was her first bonafide acting role but she was given the lead role and to see the contrast in the level of acting between her and Jung Hae-in made it soo much worse, cause that man Hae-in can act lights out, he's leagues above even other seasoned actors. So it was the worst choice to have her play alongside him because it just made it that much more apparent the lack of skills that Jisoo had at the time and now 4 years later looks like nothing has improved 😔

I was hoping Jisoo's management was gonna give her acting lessons after Snow Drop so she could actually refine her acting but unfortunately it looks like they just threw her into this role as well since she's still a terrible actress 😔
I hate how they're just riding her popularity, it just doesn't reflect well on her cause I know she could do better than this but she's probably had absolutely no training for acting cause they didn't make any time in her schedule to accommodate. I hope Lisa does well in The White Lotus and wasn't just tossed in there as well.

I've watched nearly 200 K-dramas and I'm at a loss after the finishing this. This is the best drama I've ever seen and there isn't even a near second. I've written a review for the first time because I was compelled to give this drama its flowers. Give it a read if it interests you since I put a bit of effort into it.

I think in episode 12 when they were sending off the younger brother in law and his wife the real Song Yun Gyeom was there behind them, the camera slightly focused away at 36:26 for about 10 seconds and the OST changed as well to show a figure behind them to foreshadow a future appearance.

This drama is a legitimate masterpiece, criminally underrated & under appreciated. How does this drama only have a popularity rank that's as low as 2000's and a rating rank that's in 1500's? This is genuinely absurd and disappointing.
