Come on, this episode 4 is the last straw. It's so lame, the plot with the soldiers is so boring, Jisoo is tiresome…
Lol, "Moiyai" actually replied to you as well. Crazy how you called it and they did just that which proves your point. Personally, I feel like you should just watch it through to the end since it's set for 8 episodes, yes Jisoo's acting is dreadful but most of the cast is intentionally playing into the exaggerated humour and acting terribly so it makes Jisoo's performance blend in a little even though she's doing it unironically. However, she's also a rookie actress so just try your best to ignore her lack of acting even though I was hoping she would've improved in the 4 years since Snowdrop. It's also in 4K on prime video and I know that has nothing to do with the actual drama but it's easy on the eyes if you're watching on a 4K display, plus the special effects are pretty good and the zombies are very well done. There are also the rare moments of brilliance, like when the hotel staff girl took charge and shot the zombie soldier in the head while all the soldiers (if you could even call them that) were busy being civilians, she actually has had the best acting out of the cast so far which made me glad that at least one character isn't playing into the slapstick comedy this show has overwhelmingly provided. I might have to disagree with you on episode 4 because so far that's been the best episode in my humble opinion so I'm hoping this marks a turning point in the show and it starts to provide better comedy and a bit better acting at least.
Are you kidding me? What on earth is wrong with everyone in the comments and reviews??? Yes the first couple of…
Yeah the acting was superb. The final episode was my favourite, it was like the silver lining to wrap up the show. I guess we're one of the few that enjoyed it, nice to see that someone else noticed the cast did a great job in playing their roles.
Yeah I'm gonna have to agree. This show is actually terrible, I'm watching episode 3 and Chef Jung clearly undergoes…
Thank you, First Sergeant (Who I was referring to). The man is an absolute moron, doesn't deserve that position at all. How are they still in the dark about these zombies? You're telling me the military HQ that they've been in contact with hasn't told them that there's a zombie outbreak when the whole Korea is under martial law? I also don't understand why he decided to run blanks in his gun and then proceeds to shoot the zombie Chef and then is surprised that shooting his head isn't doing anything. He is already aware that his gun has blanks and still is shocked that he's shooting blanks??? I actually had to stop watching right there, I don't know if I'll continue watching but I just needed a break from the masterclass of stupidity from characters in this show. I know it's a comedy, but it could still be funny without having force this level of stupidity.
I was one of those people who spoke positively about this drama after the first episode, but when it got to the…
Yeah I'm gonna have to agree. This show is actually terrible, I'm watching episode 3 and Chef Jung clearly undergoes zombification since he was bitten and these soldiers are basically non responders. We have the Squad captain and all these soldiers just hitting him or just spectating while he's a live threat. What the hell kind of writing is this? Nobody is shooting this guy in the head?? Even an idiot would think that's the logical thing to do. They finally made it back to the barracks and the captain doesn't take them seriously when Ra in ho says they're all zombies even after he just saw them. I'm soo annoyed by the direction this is going in. There is too many things wrong with this show for me to bother expanding on, I'm irritated by watching this, I might actually have to drop this drama.
The same person couldn't carry the drama love nextdoor or whatever...it ranked so badπππ
Jung Hae-in was incredible in his role for Love Next Door. You actually have to be blind, deaf and stupid to think his acting was poor in that drama. His acting is genuinely incredible, if the drama didn't do well it's because of the story, not the acting especially if we're talking about Jung Hae-in, the man's acting is sublime. I've seen his him in multiple roles and he's one of the few who kills every single time. I just realized how ironic it is that you're going around commenting on everyone who might even have the slightest criticism of Jisoo and some of it is valid cause there definitely are people here insulting her because they don't like her but then you're going around and insulting amazingly talent actors who've worked on their craft for years, the hypocrisy is sad. I understand you're a fan of Jisoo but that doesn't mean you should blindly love everything and anything someone puts out. She's a Kpop idol, you can't magically just act because you're incredibly famous and beautiful, that's not how it works. I like Jisoo too, Blackpink is easily my favourite group and I'm fond of all the members but I'll still keep it objective when it comes to their talents. I'm not expecting anything special from Jisoo because I know she's not an actress but at the same time I'd like her to give a decent performance since she's been given a main role.
who are you talking about? whose name did I bring up? smh. You made an account to rate a show 10/10 when only the first 2 episodes have released, it's not a good look, calm down.
I literally only wanted to watch this show cause Jisoo was in it and was really hoping that her acting will have improved from Snow Drop but ironically it seems to have gotten considerably worse. I was really rooting for her but it looks like acting is something she has no talent for and I noticed this in her role for Snow Drop as well and that's okay because you can't be naturally good at everything. However, not undergoing significant training to refine her acting skills is a disservice to herself and the fans that have been rooting for her. It looks like she's going to continue acting especially in the capacity of leading roles so I truly hope she makes takes the necessary steps to actually be deserving of the role. I'm just disappointed because I wasn't even expecting anything special, I just wanted her to be decent but as you've said her acting is honestly just awful π.
Hmm, but the well-known directors want to work with her. Even the director of Parasite praised her acting. I don't…
Basic acting skills, that's what I can see. Jisoo unfortunately doesn't possess that and I'm not saying to hate, if you actually are unable to see how poor her acting is then there really isn't much I can say. The actors in Parasite did a phenomenal job and the director giving Jisoo a compliment like that is high praise but at the same time it's also just being kind, I don't think it would be in his best interest to criticize a member of the biggest girl group in history especially considering how defensive and obsessive Kpop fans are.
why do you keep spamming this nonsense? I don't have the time or patience to take into consideration some headline from a random website plagued with pop-up ads. furthermore, It looks like you've given this show a 10/10 after only 2 episodes and it hasn't even finished airing, so I can tell your opinion on this matter is void of any value.
I'm genuinely trying but she's just soo bad at acting, I can tell it's definitely something that she isn't good at which makes it all the more important to have had significant acting lessons if she's going to be an actress. when I watched Snow Drop, it was incredibly apparent how abysmal Jisoo's acting was especially because her male co-star was Jung Hae-in, who in my humble opinion is tied for the best actor with Ji Chang-wook. I know she was an absolute rookie and it was her first bonafide acting role but she was given the lead role and to see the contrast in the level of acting between her and Jung Hae-in made it soo much worse, cause that man Hae-in can act lights out, he's leagues above even other seasoned actors. So it was the worst choice to have her play alongside him because it just made it that much more apparent the lack of skills that Jisoo had at the time and now 4 years later looks like nothing has improved π
I was hoping Jisoo's management was gonna give her acting lessons after Snow Drop so she could actually refine her acting but unfortunately it looks like they just threw her into this role as well since she's still a terrible actress π I hate how they're just riding her popularity, it just doesn't reflect well on her cause I know she could do better than this but she's probably had absolutely no training for acting cause they didn't make any time in her schedule to accommodate. I hope Lisa does well in The White Lotus and wasn't just tossed in there as well.
Soo I am on the 4th episode right now and I had a question is her husband transgender because he did say in the…
No, he's gay. Also he can't be transgender since this is during the Joseon dynasty so he definitely is a man because his parents would've checked his genitals to check which gender he is. transgenderism is a mental concept that has no bearing on the biological build of an individual.
I've watched nearly 200 K-dramas and I'm at a loss after the finishing this. This is the best drama I've ever seen and there isn't even a near second. I've written a review for the first time because I was compelled to give this drama its flowers. Give it a read if it interests you since I put a bit of effort into it.
Her real husband has to make an appearance soon and let us all in on what heβs been up to. Iβm hoping he has…
I think in episode 12 when they were sending off the younger brother in law and his wife the real Song Yun Gyeom was there behind them, the camera slightly focused away at 36:26 for about 10 seconds and the OST changed as well to show a figure behind them to foreshadow a future appearance.
This drama is a legitimate masterpiece, criminally underrated & under appreciated. How does this drama only have a popularity rank that's as low as 2000's and a rating rank that's in 1500's? This is genuinely absurd and disappointing.
I hate how they're just riding her popularity, it just doesn't reflect well on her cause I know she could do better than this but she's probably had absolutely no training for acting cause they didn't make any time in her schedule to accommodate. I hope Lisa does well in The White Lotus and wasn't just tossed in there as well.
