The acting of mains are just so good, so big thanks to them [and of course, everyone who worked in this drama] for all the angst scenes. 🫠 It was a little bit slow but careful story building at the beginning and I truly enjoyed how they portrayed each of them and what's next to come [based on trailers].

I hope there'll be a scene similar to the one in novel where Shi Ying and Zhu Yan fight together, combining the ultimate attack and defence spells.

While the beginning might appear slow to some viewers, I think it was a good introduction to what is coming and why certain relationships will develop / affect the whole storyline. The eps are getting better, the selection part was quite interesting and I liked how they didn't portray FL as a lazy genius, she works to success. I also like how ML doesn't have the usual "cold personality." He has his own rules and sincerely cares about others as he helps them. In my opinion, both Xiao Zhan and Ren Min are doing great to deliver personality layers of their characters. I'm also glad to see hints of development in the mains' relationship. So far, I like the changes from the novel as well.

ps. The dragon CGI was one of the best I have seen lately, grows the curiosity for upcoming battle scenes.

Watched 4 episodes, and I think they did a rather good start at building the story, and the pacing was well too. In my opinion, they made the characters and their dynamics more likeable than the book while keeping their distinct characteristics. I'm looking forward to the next episodes as based on trailers, it keeps getting better.

Side note; the opening/ intro song is so beautiful!

I think this drama is one of the best in its genre. Keep the storyline interesting from the beginning and gave plot twists that not only brought awareness to certain issues but also showed the imperfect side of people. I also liked what they choose to answer and what they left for audience to guess. There was a good balance. Loved elements of healing and understanding as well. One of the rare dramas that gave a satisfying final episode.

It took me longer than expected but finally managed to edit parallels of their story. They had such a beautiful journey and broke some stereotypes I used to came across in cdramas. It's especially nice to see both ml and fl having their important roles in the final battle.

While I had been curious about the drama since I saw the trailer, I didn't think I would like it that much. But I ended up waiting for new episodes excitedly, reading the book and even making fmv-s for them. It was a beautiful journey since the beginning. It's true that they changed a lot from the book but I'm truly impressed with how they managed to merge some book lines in different scenes. Also, really love the way small details brought a twist in later episodes, they were beautifully connected. Every character had their own development, which was enjoyable to watch (especially the way they connected some character perspectives from beginning with the ending episodes). Charming storyline, beautiful chemistry, and osts!
