It's truly one of the best dramas I have seen lately, especially in terms of acting. Beautiful cinematography, CGI, and OST lyrics that completed every scene perfectly. It was a pleasant journey since the beginning, and I really liked how they connected the details from all three lifetimes even if they had to shorten episode numbers. Some of the side characters needed more depth and significance to not just be there in the storyline, but other than that, it's one of the masterpieces that I believe viewers will remember for a long, long time [ even if there are arguments about the ending ]. Love the angst and acting performances main leads served and looking forward to their next projects.
While the pacing was slow on the first episode, I think they did pretty well with the second ep. Enjoyed watching them reveal the connections from the start instead of dragging it for a few episodes. Also, having their own twists in familiar elements throughout the storyline makes it more interesting. Looking forward to next episodes and I feel like I'll really like the 1987 squad.

OMG I did see her and those were hardest scenes to watch after TTJ's b***ying scenes. And when she cut that tree? Like, she is obsessed at that level. I was looking forward to their scenes together but instead we saw them avoiding each other.. I was surprised as well, she was really bold to ask for what he owed her. Her dark era will be interesting to watch!

I actually didn't expect that their "another life" is just pov of someone else, a dream. Found it quite creative compared to previous works I have watched. She really thought people will be glad to save God of War and didn’t think of consequences, found her character annoying there but then again, it isn't her. She just took form of that person in the dream. I think those rules will be long forgotten once he falls for her as we see even after years, he is holding onto clam in his dragon/serpent form. I'm looking forward to reveal of full story and what will happen once they wake up and return to their own selves tbh.

Right? Even if he didn't have his mother by his side, we see that he is willing to understand people more when they actually care for him. Unfortunately, instead they chose to call him a monster and betray him for their own sake.
I've watched 10 episodes so far and absolutely love how it keeps getting better and better. Haven't read the book yet [ hopefully soon ] so, can't compare what they changed. But the storyline of the drama and cinematography are amazing, as well as the acting of the cast. Love the way we see dilemma of Susu as she witnesses Jin's life and everything that led Jin to become a demon. The drama goes beyond fantasy elements and actually makes viewers question many things psychologically. Especially liked the way Luo Yunxi portrayed Tantai Jin's inability to "feel" and attempt to "understand".
You should watch love and redemption.. cheng yi is also good in that one..
I watched it and he's indeed so good! Started watching Cheng Yi's other dramas after Immortal Samsara and really love the way he portrays each of his characters.
This is the first Cheng Yi drama I've seen and I'm so glad to find another talented actor whose works I'm going to follow. Absolutely loved the way he portrayed three characters with enough amount of discrepancy and similarity (due to connections between). I've seen Yang Zi's other works but Yan Dan is definitely among my favourite characters. Loved the way main characters' love story developed no matter in which realm they were. Also, it's one of those rare dramas where second lead has personality that doesn't solely focus on jealousy. Yumo was a loyal friend and completed the trio's relationship perfectly. The OSTs are so beautiful and complete the storytelling. Recommending this drama to new viewers, you won't regret to watch a beautiful journey that goes beyond time and realms. Also recommending to watch behind scenes, they are hilarious!
